Aww Courf, I get it. Really, the thin ones I can handle, but the thick black ones... don't care how small they are... i'm not going near them. Though Combeferre was kinda genius by telling on Enjolras' secret. Now we do still need to see Ferre being afraid though after having Enjolras twice and Courf once.

I remember when I was a little kid (three to five) and I'd ask my mom to do a spider-check every night before I'd go to sleep. I used to have dreams of the walls being completely covered in spiders. Yeah... I don't have those dreams anymore. Now it's tornadoes.
This is great. I love the dynamics between them!

This is brilliant! I don't think I have laughed for this long or this hard in a long, long time! I simply adore the way you write Courfeyrac- his fear is wonderfully comical and oh poor darling having to put up with Enjolras being all stoical and silent- thank God for Combeferre coming in to save the day; the way you write his paternal nature towards his younger friends is wonderfully touching despite his exasperation towards Courfeyrac about spiders being more afraid of him than he is of them- beautiful, beautiful writing Mon Ami! Much love and keep going,

Anyway.
I adored this oneshot, my darling! I have the EXACT same headcanon of Enjolras being scared of thunder, and posted about it just a few days ago on Tumblr! I loved this, it was so precious, and UGH I just wanna wrap Enjolras up in a hug and kiss his little head and tell him everything will be okay. I'd LOVE to see this oneshot expanded into a short story... That could be amazing.

Oh my poor darling being afraid of thunder and being left out in the storm on his own- I don't really have to explain to you how much I adore the way you write Enjolras' insecurities and worries and that final image complete with Courfeyrac utterly spoiling it is just too precious even though they are all either soaking wet or scared out of their minds, it's just full of fluff! Beautiful, beautiful writing darling and please keep going! Much love x

Poor E though. I knew I was scared from thunder when I was little (and being by myself when a thunderstorm is going on right now still makes me a little uncomfortable) and I also know a time when I was alone in it around 5 years old (hiding under the table, listening to my walkman which worked on batteries) and I know it really wouldn't have helped a bit to have a dad reacting that way.
