Haven't reviewed this story in a while, because I'm a horrible reader. I felt a little...disconnected from the story, which certainly wasn't because of your writing, but just because of me and my moods and who knows what issues. But this chapter worked well to reel me back in.
I liked that you mixed things up: here we have Annie trying to make a new start for herself and move on, but the past keeps haunting her and eventually catches up with her. There was no need to drag that out, I think it's being conveyed well the way you wrote it. Now of course we're all waiting for Annie and Eren to meet again. That should be come interesting - especially with Hitch and Marlow around. Btw I liked how you introduced both of the characters.
I'm glad you overcame your writer's block and now the words are flowing beautifully again. .

Great chapter, and it's okay about the delay. That understandable, and I do like how this chapter was handled. I especially liked how you had Annie own Marlowe in that spar, a nice way to show everyone how badass Annie is. I noticed that Hitch is always portrayed as loud mouthed slutty character (can't remember if she was like that in the manga, I know she was atleast loudmouthed) and I do like how that is a contrast to Annie. Now it will be interesting to see what happens when the Scouting Legion arrives, along with Eren. Keep up the great work!
P.S. Is this the visit after the expedition or is it before?

Again, another great chapter. Its interesting to see how much different this fic is from when you started it, but I think thats the point: to show how they all connected, and then have it get torn apart, to have the allusions get ripped down and revealed, and to show how this affects every single one of them. I really like how you played this so far, and interested to see where this goes. Keep up the great work!
