Poor Grace! Harold has left her alone and very sad.
Nice touch including the ice cream vendor. Them having an ice cream in winter was what started it all.

Grace and Carter, an unlikely pairing but I do like it! There’s a lot to like. Another interesting look at Finch too, you’ve definitely captured the characters of John, Carter and the rest of the included cast, well done.

It's been such a long time I was beginning to wonder. You've written the characters so well here, and Grace is amazing for wanting to move forward with Harold despite his injuries. Thanks for completing the story.

Wellll I'm not happy that you left it at him being paralyzed, but at least he and Grace are together now. All that money that Finch has, and he can't seek a top surgeon under one of his pseudonyms to see what his chance s of walking again are? After all Dr. Madani said that the bullet grazed the spine. He didn't say that the bullet was lodged in it. And... You still have time to do an epilogue (hint, hint) -You didn't t mark the story as 'Complete'.
And we don't need John feeling guilty over Tierney. Our John wouldn't be feeling guilty over Tierney. Not after what he and HR has put Carter through (and Finch here in your story).
And, since Grace needs more friends, it would be nice to expand on a Carter and Grace friendship a bit.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed this entertaining story from one self-confessed busy/lazy/forgetful (did I leave anything out? lol) writer. ;D

Can't say that I feel sorry for Tierney/Turney/Terney (wink), but I do feel sorry for the kid. John didn't intend to kill the man, just teach him a lesson. Anyway, it was Tierney that caused an accident. And he was prerfectly prepared to have Carter's son killed without any qualms.
Good girl, Grace. She slapped Harold. No less than he deserved. After all, she had attempted to commit suicide over a man that wasn't really dead.

Ok. So Grace suffered from information overload and decided to take a nap. Logical. ;)
Turney/Tierney is about to have a visit from The Suit. Glad I'm not in his shoes. And, I'm on to your next chapter...

..He had some thongs that needed doing... (Lol) - I know that you meant 'things'. ( I couldn't resist!) being that it's Reese, welllll I'm sure that there are some 'thongs' out there that wouldn't mind. (Chuckle).
Ok. Seriously, Reese is having a hard time trying to keep Harold's secrets here. His explanation doesn't wash with Carter, of course. Taylor's getting quite an education here. And there's still that darned HR. And of course, Grace and Harold's moment of truth. So, I'm on to your next chapter...

Well, this is good. Finch made it. We don't know his condition yet, but I'm sure that you'll enlighten me in the next few chapters ;)
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Harold has a few choice words to look forward to from Grace, as well as a lot of groveling to do.
And, there's still HR to deal with...

Finch took a bullet...wow. And you left it there. That was evil... It's a good thing that I'm reading this now where I can continue on to the next chapter, instead of waiting for the update ;)

Now you've done it. You've ramped it up. So, HR kidnapped Taylor and Grace. Now, Tierney wasn't one for killing women -but that didn't mean that he wasn't adverse to having someone else do it.
And I need Grace to get off this suicide by someone else's hands watch. She could get Taylor killed in the process.
That was a nice thing that Taylor did for her, though -when he gave her a hug (complete with handcuffs)

Finch hasn't caught on from Carter's comments that she probably has figured him as Grace's "one". Hence, the hints.
What?! Who is going around tossing Carter's apartment?

Carter is already suspicious of Finch. Good. You're on the right track, Carter.
Joss raised a good boy there. So, Taylor is taking over babysitting duties with Grace.
I wonder what he has in store for her?
I'm with Reese. Harold has to re-think this business with keeping Grace in the dark.

Good. You didn't kill her. But I thought that suicides weren't a part of what the machine would bring to their attention. Only threats or acts of violence. No matter. They got to her in time. And Carter has questions. Boy, does she. And now she's got to pull babysitting duty. Well, I'm sure that Grace may do a lot of talking about her Harold. Carter would just have to not let on that she knows Harold -and that he is alive.
Good move there having Harold to tell her to "go back" (lol). Otherwise, he would have had to explain how he came to be there...alive, too.

What? Grace committing suicide? Oh, I don't know about this...she waited three years before she decided to do this?
