I don't understand how this story has only gotten one other review! I am enjoying it very much. Your take on young Ienzo is quite interesting. I have to admit that I don't much like his traumatic past, but all the same I really like the relationship he is building with the others, particularly Even. Even if he hadn't been through such a tragedy, it wouldn't surprise me if he had still been so quiet at that age and able to communicate, in a sense, through his eyes. The deeper look into Even's view of the circumstances is really interesting as well. He seems to be taking on a role he never expected he would, and isn't half bad at it.
Not to mention that your writing is very good. It always makes me glad to come across such great writers on this site.
If you continue, I'll be sure to keep reading.

Okay first off, why doesn't this have any reviews yet? The writing is well done and so far the story is amazing (though I might be biased considering I like back-stories, apprentices and Ienzo and Even).
Specifics:
I really like how you portray the Even/Ienzo relationship
Even though it isn't posted here yet, I really like how chapter 3 plays out
Can't really think of any negatives, there weren't any obvious grammar errors and the flow was good. No inconsistencies that I can see or uninteresting parts.
Keep up the good work.
