I liked this story. Even though the names were opposite what they ended up as in canon, it was still easy to remember who was who. It's interesting to see what people's theories were like while the show was still coming out.

Well I really like what you've got so far. Considering that this was probably written before (or ignoring) the events and clues of Society of the Blind Eye and Not What He Seems, it's a solid foundation for a mysterious and interesting story. Are you planning on continuing it? I think as an AU it has great potential! Hope to see more from you.

This. Is. Amazing...
I read your theory post on Tumblr (before the accident, heh) but I found you on here by chance! D This is so good, the characterization is wonderful, the relationship between the twins is beautiful! I know it's been a while since the last update, but do you plan on continuing? (If I don't sound too pushy and obnoxious ;)

Hey, I don't like to press authors, I know I am one, but I was just wondering if you were going to continue this story. The reason I ask, is because I read on your tumblr I think that you were done writing fanfiction and it was going to take a while before you ever got into it again. If you don't want to finish this story, I completely understand, but if you could put a chapter or notice that you're officially going to stop the readers of this awesome fanfiction and I would really appreciate it

Just a quick reminder that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this fic and the Stan Twin Theory. Wait, why isn't it in my faves/alerts? Just let me fix that there, and...ah, there we go.

I love this story! I can hear Dipper's voice when I read Stanley and Mabel's slightly when I read Stanford. Are you going to update this?

Interesting. I would like to hear more of the layout of what is soon to be called the Mystery Shack. And also this is a great story so far and would like to read more, but if its abandoned tell me please? And i would like it if you integrated more characters from the show like maybe Robbie beinga vampire or zombie would be interesting. Keep up the good work and message me back please.

I am an extraordinarily picky reader of fanfic. I don't like contrived plots, typo-ridden summaries, poorly placed OCs, and out-of-character wish fulfillment. I have sifted through page upon page of the Gravity Falls section, hungry for season 2, in search of a fic that really captures the magic and mystery of the show and the Shack and the family that lives in it.

Even though it occurs in the past, I think I have found it.

Gruff old Grunkle Stan is my favorite character, and the twin theory is one of my pet pieces of fanon. You have not only spun it into life, you have made it so convincing, and rendered it with such careful detail, that I will be actively disappointed if it does not come true in some incarnation during the course of the show. Your voice for Stanley Pines is utterly charming, and your skill with conjuring a subtle callback to Dipper through the way he narrates and acts is magnificent. Stanford is wonderfully in character-and wonderfully young-without feeling like a caricature of himself with darker hair. The relationship between the Stan twins is really quite heartwarming, just like the one we get to see on the show.

I love how you handled the other characters, as well. McGucket, in particular, has a fantastic mystique about him, and I'm eager to learn about his connection to the secret society.

It isn't just the characters, though-you bring Oregon itself to life, from the highway all the way into the decrepit pre-Mystery Shack. I didn't just feel like I was watching a movie, I could practically smell the mountain air and Stanford's smoke by the car. I could feel the vulnerability of a windowless, lightless, lockless house when the brothers laid down on the floor of their new home. You really do have a wonderful way of writing just enough and no more than that. You summon a scene and then let the imaginations of your readers fill it out in ways that no number of words could.

I have seldom encountered even published writing as charming as the masterpiece-in-the-making you have going on right here. It's almost a shame that you won't be making any money off of it, but I have high hopes for your future (or present!) career as an author of fiction.

You have put together something so exquisite that I actually created an account on this site specifically to leave a review for it.

Thank you for five wonderful chapters, and here's to many more!

This story just gets better and better with each chapter, in my opinion. :3 I'm eager to see what happens next to the two of them.

Oh no. I have a feeling Jill is Gideon's mom. The whole "gleeful" part plus her blonde hair, I've just got a feeling

Very nice story Miss PrettyinPwn!
I usually bump into tumblr blogs than fanfiction stories first, and here I am!
I really like where the story's going, even though it's just the introduction (really, I just screamed when you said that in this chapter) and I really appreciate the Easter eggs you put at the end, those 'three letters back' messages. It sorta gives me an idea on what to expect.

Oh, the vending machine is a pure genius way on giving clues about what's going to be behind that door.

Continue creating such wonderful chapters!
