I haven't reviewed before now because I've been so eager for each chapter. Well done! Your plot is engaging, and your characters are wonderful. I love how you develop the boys' relationships. You also delve into tricky psychological matters and do it without being melodramatic or superficial. My favorite part. Is the relationship-building, though. I appreciate that you write male friendships that are tender and affectionate as well as intellectual. I'm eager to read more! Thank you.

Awesome! You've come back to this story! I was so excited to see an update in my inbox this morning, and as I started reading it, I didn't know whether to sob in agony or relief. I mean on the one hand, his fever is broken and one battle is over, but it's a long road to recovery and that's a battle all on its own. Poor Combeferre and Courfeyrac, I just want to wrap them both in a hug. And Grantaire too, poor R. Those doubts of his, would someone sit at his bedside if he was that sick and hope that he got better? Please tell met that's going to be your next story. We need a story about R and the Amis facing down those insecurities and getting him some self-esteem. All of them pleading with him to fight, to stay with them, I would pay money to read that. Then when Enjolras actually wakes up, well, he's aware this time but that's not necessarily a good thing if it means all that pain. I can't wait to see what happens next! I'm so glad you're still working on this!

I love this story and I can’t wait to read your next update, whether it’s tomorrow or two years from now! It’s good to see that Enjolras is slowly improving and I’m glad that nobody blames Grantaire.
