I'm so glad he's awake! This chapter was excellent as always. I really like the way you portray Joly. Most people write him as a giggly hypochondriac and that's all there is to him in their mind, but I like that you give him a proper personality and include him in the story as a doctor. I'm excited to see what happens next!

Hi friend! You probably don't remember me, but I always reviewed your stories and thought you were one of my very favorite authors on here. Your story, "Shifting Grounds," has always been my favorite of yours and I too had given up that you would come back to it, but I'm soooooo happy I was wrong! This literally made my morning when I got the notification that you added a new chapter and you've found your muse again :) Thank you so much for another amazing chapter as always, and I loved the parallism you used with Heaven vs. the living world. I am always a huge sucker for Enjolras/R angst and Enjolras and Combfere angst so your writing always reals me in. I can't wait to read more and definitely hope you continue! Don't worry, you still have readers who are excited to come back to this great story :)

AHHHHHHHHHHH thank you so much for continuing this! I had honestly given up on you posting more and I'm so happy that I was wrong. This is an excellent story. I love the way you wrote this chapter with the heaven vs life thing. It was really cool to see and it made him surviving the night more believable somehow, which is awesome because I didn't want him to die. Very good. I can't wait to see what happens next! I hope other people are also still reading this, but if I'm the only one, I promise I'll be an eager audience and make up for it!

Hello dear, I'm sorry it took me so long to review any of your stories. I've been real busy! But I did read every single one of your updates and I'll be sure to give them all a review. Starting with this one which didn't disappoint at all. Given, maybe it wasn't the most uptempo chapter but I liked it just because of that. You gave us an insight in the thoughts, doubts and insecurities of the characters. You take the reader right into the minds of Combeferre and Courfeyrac and that's a real talent. I'm so happy to read stuff from you again. You never fail to amaze me with your feel for dialogue. I absolutely love it! Also looking forward to the next chapter, you really don't give anything away if Enjolras survives or not. Well done and please update when you can!

You finally updated! And you didn't disappoint! It's a good thing I was expecting getting my heart wrenched out and stomped on with this chapter, because that is certainly what happened. YAY! Enjolras woke up! Poor Combeferre and Courfeyrac! I really hope Enjolras can beat this, because I don't see any of the Amis continuing on, at least in their mission, without him. But for these two and for Grantaire, I'm not sure they'd be able to continue on at all, so please let Enjolras live! And don't keep us waiting so long next time!
