I have been waiting for this story for soo long and it was definitely without a doubt worth the wait! Wonderful chapter, such anxiety and pain. I love how you create some sort of parallel between Combeferre and Grantaire, both feeling like they've screwed up somehow and both carrying guilt they shouldn't carry. Please, for my heart's sake, don't let Enjolras die? Wonderful update and looking forward to the next!

Reading this chapter was the first thing I did today and I cried. You're very good at writing emotions and, once again, I love your characterization. I'm anxious to see how you choose to end it and i can't wait for you to update again, but if it takes you a while, don't worry about it.

Thank you for this lovely update my dear! This was, as ever with your writing, absolutely painfully glorious and oh my poor medical brothers! The sheer emotional weight felt by both Joly and Combeferre here was tangible and gut wrenching and that final image was almost too painful to bear but well done, really, truly well done. I'm now honestly torn between telling you to update as quickly as is humanely possible with this story and leaving it so that my broken heart can mend and ugh… Well done, really well done.

That broke my heart. Absolutely, beyond a shadow of a doubt, broke my heart. Poor Enjolras, poor Grantaire, poor Combeferre, poor everybody! I know the chances aren't good, but I really hope he can make a recovery. I wonder if Grantaire will be able to keep quiet about what happened or if something will happen to make him spill the beans before Enjolras gets well. We'll see. My only other point, you said all the Amis were there by this point...including Marius? Where was Marius? I don't like him that much, but I just thought he should still be mentioned. Okay, I need to find out what happens. Please let Enjolras live!
