Oh my dear friend, this was definitely a hard story for you to write. I could just sense it. Making Orihime go through all that agony and self-loathing...that's not easy to read and certainly not easy to type out. However, it really did force Ichigo to step up, and step up he did there at the end. That was definitely an ending to feel good about.
Both of them have a lot of healing to do after this point, but I'm sure they'll be fine with each other to support them.
You did a really good job with this, so don't you dare go asking to become a clam. Stand up proudly! You wrote this gripping and heart-breaking and then heart-mending story!
