Version one was better. I don't know why you wrote a second one and took out the hot making out which is the best thing about it. Oh and you might want to know that you've got some grammar mistakes like 'then' instead of 'than' a few times.

I think I liked the first version better. It was more extreme and yeah, Annie was childish and Jeff was cruel, but we're talking about the people who once destroyed a study room because of a pen, so why not? They aren't perfect.
I really liked the ending. Great job!
