(Considering the Joker is head-over-heels in love with Batman, ALL his relationships are dysfunctional.
Then again, Batman... CARES about the Joker. Enough to miss him when he dies. Enough to view him/John Doe as his best friend in Telltale games, as well as have the option to ask if John means him -and sounding kinda hopeful- when John says he's in love with someone. Anyway...
Batman would, however, never allow himself to be with him. He ALWAYS chooses Duty over what he wanta himself.
So the Joker always ends up sad and alone... unless you count Harley. But seeing as he brainwashed HER, I doubt he feels like she REALLY loves him. Regardless if she does or not. And then she leaves him for Ivy, sooo...)
I have a feeling Harry would either be a brilliant pupil for him, or another victim of his charisima and charm.
I mean... WHEN the Joker loves someone, he moves heaven and Hell for them. In his life, 95% of every single thing he does, he does for the sake of love.
And Harry has always been DESPERATE for someone to love him. Enough to keep forgiving his fair-weather-glory-hound friend Ron, and the girl who spends most her time talking down at him and stabbing him in the back cor what she believes is his own good.
So finding someone as devoted to him as the Joker CAN be, he'd fall, and fall HARD.
Plus... I love this serial-killer version of Harry.

This should definitely be made into a multi-chap fic. I was hooked just from this little bit. I can't get enough of Harry and Joker fics. This was great
