This chapter really struck a chord in me and made me remember something I haven't thought about in a long time. When I was about 11 my mom miscarried. I was convinced that I was going to get a baby sister and was heartbroken when I found out. I was at my grandma's house at the time, listening to her talk to my dad on the phone, and I can still remember the exact moment I realized what they were talking about and how I quietly left and hid in the bathroom to cry. I really appreciate the sensitivity you use in showing a heartbreaking tragedy that many families experience. Thank you.
