I love the atmosphere of this piece, in this peaceful, isolated, snowy little town. Every aspect just oozes winter. I also love the relationships everybody has; they're super cute. Although I think Kaito may need to sit down and talk with Shinichi about how they'll handle personal freedoms from here on out; his protectiveness is absolutely justified but really may damage things a bit down the line if not discussed, if the opening scene of this chapter is anything to go by. You can't just hoard Shinichi away from living his life because you're afraid of things you can't control, Kai-chan - a more gentle captor still puts those under his power in cages, physical or otherwise.
Also, "Are you taking up sculpting?" "No, I am not." "That's a relief." I almost face-palmed at the unintentional pun that none of the characters appear to have noticed. (Reliefs are a type of sculpture).

You need to write a one shot about the Halloween incident! or maybe a more shot XD I love this series. Definitely consider writing a third installment if you can, it is amazing!

Huh...the fact that Kaito didn't know why Heiji left has me thinking...
Did they ever get any sex ed? I can't imagine the organisation thinking it necessary, and Chikage wouldn't have thought it important whenever they got to see each other
They were only innocent kids when they were taken, so...do they not know where babies come from? If not, that would be a hell of a thing for the others to have to explain to them...

I love Illusions!Shinichi and Kaito's relationship so much. They've got their own bubble of quiet happiness, and I love how natural it feels between them, that asexual (so far at least?) extension of their partnership into romance.

i really really love this universe . it's just so sweet and nice and cute seeing kaito and shinichi . how kaaito is always overprotective when it comes to shinichi like a big brother . how they support each other . they are too innocent <3

Just curious: were you ever planning to have Kaito become Kaitou Kid? He'd be really good at it of course, but the Wraith or already gone...or are they? What if there are still some left and he wants to deal with them in a way that doesnt endanger Shinichi and his mom?
