I'm sorry to say this, but I'm slightly disappointed by the end of this story. :(
I was expecting something a bit more conflicting and emotional, considering the backstory you've building so far, especially for Natasha.
She fell into her new roles of student and foster daughter without any problems, despite not having any real schooling and having lived on her own since she was a child.
The relationship between Clint and Natasha doesn't evolve. Since in the epilogue of The backwaters you stated they were a couple I was hoping you would show here how they became an item! Instead there weren't even a kiss...:(
And finally, well, I was a bit disappointed by their lack of ambition, no college, simple jobs...I don't know, I personally would have preferred them wanting to do something more with their lives.
Well, these are my personal opinions, it's how I would have like to see their story develop, but since Clintasha are my favourites I guess I'm a bit biased. Overall I think you're one of the best Avengers writers I've read so far!

I'm happy to see this sequel of The backwaters! :)
And I'm even more glad that it's about Clint and Natasha, who are my favourites! _
This first part is really depressing, especially when you describe how Barney changes from old brother and protector to selfish and bully; poor Clint, it must have been hard to be betrayed from his own family. (Talking about family, where istheir mother?)
And it's also sad how the kids inevitably are starting to drift apart...:(
Ah! I guess this story will explain what you wrote in your last chapter of the previous story, that Clint and Tasha are skittish if the other isn't around.
