I totally loved this romantic little action/adventure caper you put together with our lovely Jess and Becker. It was tense and exciting and extremely sweet all at the same time. Loved how the tension built what with Becker being captured and Jess and Vasily working together to save him. Then there was just the right amount of angst as they waited for him at the bar and then he showed up and they made out like fiends. The epilogue with David Fisher was a nice touch as well and it amused me greatly. Kudos to you for a wonderfully written story.

So you were quite mean at first - I was worried something had happened to Becker and they'd have to launch some sort of rescue but I'm so very pleased that wasn't the case. And the way Becker announced his presence in the bar - and Jess greeted him - made me smile so very much and squee and clap my hands together. Loved it!
The epilogue made me laugh - poor, poor David - and I'm having fun imagining Jess's reaction when he tells her what Becker did.
Fantastic story, I've thoroughly enjoyed reading it and hope there'll be another from you soon! *big hugs*

Ooooookay. Can I just say that that kiss is hot? Like super hot and lovely and sweet and if we ever got lucky enough to see something like it on screen, I think my neighbours might sue for hearing problems...
Sorry for babbling, but the image of Jess being all amazing and speaking Russian and calling out her cheating boyfriend for being an idiot in order to distract the guys at the bar from what Becker was doing made me grin so much, and Becker's reaction to it, and them both getting caught up in the moment, made my inner fangirl squee with delight.
.. And the line about their six children? Made me giggle so much, as did the part about that making the men who'd been waiting at the bar pack up their things.
Lovely, lovely chapter - can't believe I missed reviewing it. Like I've said many times before, I really adore the way you write Jess as being so capable of handling herself in situations like this - I just wish we'd had the opportunity to see her be able to do things like this on the show.

Oooh I'm so loving this. Jess is proving herself to be utterly amazing and as truly brilliant as we've always known her to be and Becker is being super protective and yummy and I love getting to see him do this kind of work - his job without the dinosaurs!

This is all shaping up very nicely and you are doing a great job. I love that they are both feeling so protective of each other, and a little jealous Becker is always good. It's nice to have some insight into Jess' background and to know that the two of them have a history together even though they were unaware of it at the time. I really am enjoying this and can't wait for the next chapter to see what happens.

Loved to learn more about Jess' earlier year!
Ha, sometimes Becker's protectiveness leads him say the wrong things! But I loved how Jess straightened him out and how he was able to take that in.

Ohhh you are so sneaky! And of course all the guys excpect to see a tech GUY!
I just love this twist so much! Now it will be equally easier and harder for Becker to deal with the situation. He knows Jess' skills and strength and they are a good team. However working in the field together abroad is a totally different situation. And we all know how nervous it makes Becker to see Jess in any kind of danger!
Although I'm at work, I really, really want to know what happens next! So I'll sneak in another chapter or two during my lunchbreak!

J'adore quand les agissements de Becker font que Jess ne comprend pas exactement ce qu'il veut dire! J'aime quand il y a malentendus entre eux mais qu'ils se résolvent vite ! J'adore quand Jess pense que Becker ne la croit pas capable de faire son travail et que la douce Jess devient une tigresse !
j'ai hâte de connaitre la suite de l'histoire !
