Interesting story so far. Poor Lokes. Odin sounds...pretty abusive in this story. Yes, he's not the best dad in the movies, but I can't see him locking a six year old in the basement with no food and water. Comic and myth Odin, on the other hand, I can totally see doing that. However, as Loki is human in this story, going more than forty-eight hours without water would have killed him, unless...his magic kept him alive somehow, like Neville's did when his uncle tried to kill him? Anyway, Odin sounds horribly abusive, and not just to his son, but to his wife. Forbidding her to see her son while he was being starved to death is one of the most cruel things he could have done to a mother. I find his relationship with Frigga in the Thor movies to be slightly emotionally abusive, or at least, you could interpret it that way, but I see that emotional abuse as being the result of the power-imbalance inherent to being in a relationship with someone whose word is absolute law, not (usually) deliberate malice. I didn't understand why Frigga didn't seem angrier at him for forbidding her to see her son in Thor 2, but perhaps it was because she knows that Odin has a hair-trigger temper, and would have relented eventually, if not for Loki's sake, then for hers.
Additionally, while I enjoyed this story so far, I think that maybe if you had a beta-reader to check your grammar before you post, it would make it easier to read.
Thank you for sharing! I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Poor Loki! What Odin does is pure cruelty and child abuse! Grrrr… Must. Kill. Odin! Why doesn't Thor own up to his acts/mistakes/crimes…(don't know which to use, 'cause the cat incident is animal abuse, but the other things aren't on the same scale).
Such a sweet Frigga, trying to still take care of Loki. I just want to take little Loki (yay for alliteration) in my arms and shield him from the world. Especially ODIN! *Mutters: Stupid, Loki-abusing, one-eyed bastard*
Please update again soon!
