Waaah~! i just finished reading the first 4 chapters straight~! i've spent most of the sembreak reading~! not to mention all the reading we did during the 1st sem~! gee, now i'm not surprised why i needed new glasses after 2 years...

anywaY, nuff about me... *rubs hands with glee* itsh REVIEW time~! ^_^ first of all, i really loved the title...BARF...wahahaha, very appropriate~! to quote Sara: Anything related to studying is disgusting. *nods head* i agree, most of the time...i feel sick just thinking about textbooks and lessons...but i DO love to learn, why is quite different from studying...heh...'studying habits' do not exist for me. I really commend your creativity...BARF...wah, i can't help snickering everytime i think about it~! ^_^

the plot developments' good...just the right pacing...then onto the GOOD stuff...eheheh...i'd love to imagine how you'd manage to make yuriko-san and mitsui-kun end up together~!

BTW, you know my VERY biased apprehension against OCs...can't help it, all those Mary Sue/self-insert stories make me puke...but since you're such a TENSAI (a different category from Hanamichi-kun... ^_^), you've managed to make me learn to appreciate OCs~! Yuriko-san is a well-rounded character as far as i'm concerned, and although i don't relate with her or that sort of thing, her personality's real, not the annoying i-am-oh-so-likeable type. i'm sure her crankiness would diminish as her character develops. ^_^ all in all, even she's not all that pleasant, i like her.

Seems to me that you haven't made Mitsui-kun OOC so far, him still being devoted to b-ball and flunking studies and cussing and being an annoying jerk/badass but has a soft side...although it might pose a problem when the romance kicks in...i'm sure you can do it~! why, you've made Rukawa-kun like someone and i haven't pulled at my hair in exasperation yet~!

Nayuki-san and Sara-san are a slap-happy bunch...they're such...well, 'lively' friends... *grins sheepishly* what can i say... they spice up the events and make lotsa scenes...oh yeah, they REALLY make scenes...boy, if you imagine real people like that for classmates, classes can't stay boring for long...wahahaha...poor Sara...she makes me laugh lotsa times...and Nayuki-san is better than all those other airhead fans of Rukawa-kun... ^_^ Xena and a mental patient... *snickers*

although i have to note about chapter 4...all the heated verbal altercations left me reeling...it's like everyone is screaming around me...gotta tone that a bit...maybe it helps if you insert some introspection or quiet angst or blessed silence...i'm not complaining much, it's just putting too many sarcastic wise cracks and interjections in one chapter makes my head hurt...or it's just that i lack sleep...hmmm...i guess it can't be helped, the main characters (even the teachers!) have strong personalities...and put them all in one fic and see if the clashes don't result into nasty explosions... *sweatdrop* it's just that there's so much anger in the world already, i don't want too much of in fiction too...

mitsui-kun isn't stupid, but since he's such a smart aleck, it makes you wonder why he doesn't use his wit properly in his studies, ne? (this goes for the rest of the 'flunk bunch' in the Shohoku team... *sweatdrop*) but hey, neat trick there...'accidentally' crush all the chalks...but it might not work in school since our profs. bring their own chalks/whiteboard markers...*sigh*

okie~! that's all i can say for now~! i wonder what Yuriko-san is cooking up to get back at Mitsui-kun...i hope he doesn't look too sorry afterwards... ^_^;;;;; in other words, i'm looking forward for the next chapters~! ^_^_^_^_^ i hope this review helped~! ja~! *skips off chanting/wailing 'Sanzo-sama~!'*
