Commenting here simply to note that while I’ve enjoyed the story thus far anything about “mating” has driven me nuts. yes I understand the lack of smut, not everyone enjoys it and not having it is fair.
However the yap about the spartan gene mods is completely incorrect. One they’re two different species so reproduction is impossible regardless, but also his genes cannot affect her in any was possible both due to genetic differences making the mods unable to do anything and also because genetic material wont be transferred between the mating pare in a way that affects their genetics.
Now in writing this I have no idea your level of education and simply wanted to vent so take it as yap.

J'adore cette fiction, le fait qu'il soit crédible et tire le meilleur de la licence le rend délicieux.
Bien entendue ont a tousse envie de voir l'évolution de la relation et le fait de conclure, de voir comment il pourrait vivre en couple même après la guerre. (Spolier, il ne sont pas au bout de leur peine.)
J'ai aussi aimé les moment détaché des Combats ou la suite de reach, cela donne de la profondeur.
J'espère même si j'en doute qu'on aura une suite.

This chapter blew me away. The action was incredible. The drama had me captivated. The scene with Shress singing to the dying soldier had me teary eyed, as did the scene where she made her choice to become a spy for the humans, cementing her friendship with Micheal.

Man, it's amazing to see how much Michael and Shress begin to care for one another, especially with Shress behind more empathetic towards others and Michael seeing her as a friend.
And man, things keep getting more and more intense. Shress will soon have to choose between the Covenant or Michael...

Seeing the bond between Michael and Shress grow is super interesting. How they seem to grow closer, understanding each other more and more. And of course, Shress now finally knows that Michael and the other Spartans are human!
Also, I love the detail that the names of the aliens and humans are different depending on the POV.
