Wow, I've been browsing fan-fictions for an hour now and none are as realistic as yours. Other ones I've read contain multiple hiccups or Astrids and they're too seductive. This story is sweet, heart warming and really represents their real nature. Please keep doing these types of fan fiction. No one has been able to portray their relation ship as well as you do. I might recommend this one on the httyd subreddit. So once again beautiful story and I hope to see more of you're work

I can't understand why people don't like Astrid either. She's awesome! And her relationship with Hiccup just makes the movies more original. Great job on the story, thanks for writing and posting it :3

oH MY GOODNESS
This was incredibly sweet and made me smile. I completely agree with the note at the end. It's just not a story without Astrid. I don't think Hiccup's completely himself without her either. Especially after watching HTTYD2. They're both definitely independent and they're not helpless without each other, but they definitely complete one another.
Love the idea that Hiccup journals about her also. Definitely seems like a "Hiccup" thing to do.
