I had the biggest smile on my face when Anna told Elsa that she wouldn't have thought any less of her if she'd killed those men. That's exactly what Elsa needed to hear, and what I wanted to hear too, to be perfectly honest. Elsa has a dark side like all real people (something that most/all? of the other disney princesses lack), but it doesn't make her a monster or a bad person. You understand Elsa better than I do, as you've demonstrated by these stories. Maybe you could write a one-shot about her struggling to talk to people at a party or a council meeting or something like that? Whatever you write next, just keep being amazing. :)

This chapter was so perfect from beginning to end. The characterization, the way you resolved their deep seated fears as well as the humour near the end. Elsa's default method of coping is to retreat into herself which Anna would easily misinterpret as Elsa not needing her. I love that Anna learned from her past mistakes; she at first decided to give Elsa room instead of bluntly confronting her but also knew when to push on. It is exactly the kind of love that Elsa needs and it was nice to see Elsa suggesting that they move back into the same room. It's a small gesture but it's the first time Elsa took some initiative; something that Anna needs too so that she isn't always the one who is reaching out. This was a truly bonding moment between them. The humour was especially nice near the end. A much needed band aid after all that angst (I don't ship Kristanna but the way you did it was cute and very realistic). You've managed to stay true to canon while adding your own insights and interpretation into the story. Overall, amazing chapter. absolutely amazing.

Wow. this is so wonderfully written. The first chapter started out really strong; a realistic look at what things would be like post-movie. The mixed but mostly positive reception from the people of Arendelle. I love that you gave the mother in the movie a redeeming moment. Elsa does have a big heart and the scene you portrayed was so heart-warming. The second chapter was just powerful. It gave so much insight into Anna, especially the way she struggled between resentment and love. Of course, love won out because that is who Anna is. Anna's observation regarding Elsa also was a great explanation of how Anna manage to remain optimistic; most people in her position would have chosen to hate Elsa but she saw the way her sister was suffering and chose the brighter path. The moment when Anna pushed Elsa to hug their parents. Wow, that broke my heart into a million pieces. But it's comforting to know that she at least got one final hug and to tell them that she loved them before they died. This chapter though. crown jewel. I love your characterization of Kai and the important role her played in Elsa and Anna's lives. You once again get to see how strong Anna and Elsa's love is for each other despite the separation. Overall, I am thoroughly enjoying this poignant piece. Fills in so many gaps in the movie.
