Great chapter. It was very well written the change of the battle due to IcyEyes's part on it. I can't wait to read the next chapter, though its a shame it will end. Do you plan to keep up writting it? Perhaps and epilogue or sequel, or try to rewrite the minimovies and the Dragon series including IcyEyes? It would be awesome and i'm sure you could manage it exceptionally since you're a great writter. Keep it up ;)

I know how you feel about 'no stinking internet' because I have never had internet at my house. I always have to go to McDonald's to do anything online. Love the action in this chapter, and IcyEyes' complete despair at Hiccup's 'death'/missing. Keep it up!

Hmm.. (Why do I always do that...) What can I say here, I don't know anymore. I usually get notes throughout the chapter for my reviews but this time I just read it intensely without stopping to think.
So basically Astrid will get Stormfly after all. Not that I was extremely surprised but I guess the story couldn't be changed that drastically as it does follow the original HTTYD storyline.
I don't like seeing dragons tied up, no matter if it's big or small, good or evil. As I mention in my profile, I think dragon's are the most magnificent creatures there are and should not be restrained like some rabies squirrels or whatever.
Man, I'd like to see a story with IcyEyes and my other fave OC Meyla from a story that I don't remember the name of. Wow, such fantastic personalities and backgrounds those two have! I can PM you the name of the story with that OC if you'd like to read it.
The female night fury in my story (Nightmares and dragons) will probably called ElendÃr or something, I haven't decided yet but I doubt I'll ever be able to get her such depth you've been able to get to Icy.
And wait.. at the beginning I said I had nothing to say :P

'the silent calls of the red death' I think that replied to my question on one of the previous chapters. I totally understand that. Ultrasound is not that rare on animals.
Hmm... So far the scenes with Astrid have mostly been all from the movie, how about some original ones? And yeah.. Will there even be a Stromfly now? I mean, there's Icy and Astrid so... Well, I'm not sure if Icy allows Astrid to fly her. Or maybe she does because Icy cares about hccup and Hiccup cares about Astrid so maybe Icy will start caring about her as well? who knows.
And I'm happy for you about your 200 reviews mark, it's a great accomplishment. I don't really remember when i got my first 200 r's but passing the 300 is really nice :) Looking forward to it and ofc, I'm helping you to achieve it!

So I see Toothless is now completely accustomed to the name 'toothless' as he even referred to himself with it. Other thing worth mentioning was is the incredible speed of icy's wounds healing. I mean, she just got them (I know you explained spikes piercing her tail and scales in other places) so why are they not visible now? Because hiccup would notice.
Also one last thing I must mention in this chap is that it's actually the first time you are really taking in full scenes from the movie without making any tweaks to them. you know, with the little terrible terror-fishes scene and the rock avoiding scene. Other scenes that you've borrowed have been tweaked to fit 2 dragons but that was all about the movie. Not that it's bad or anything, I just merely spotted it here and thought I'd mention it.
And yeah, Astrid... I'm still wondering what her part will be in this story later on...

And oh, have you seen the sneak peek for the new HTTYD 2 trailer? probably have though. I'm guessing the full trailer is coming soon. (never thought we'd see another giant seadragonus maximus (If I remember the name correctly))
