Please do a sequel! I loved this, no matter how sad, the words and feelings were beautiful. And I think that Marina is in. A tough spot. Please make a sequel Very soon, because this is somehow more exciting than your other story. So pleeeeeease very soon! Update update update please! Loved. Every word. Love the way you set this up! The repeat shows the contrast in the situations, which gives it it's own uniquely beautiful flow. Just love it :) Love seeing the contrast and how much she's really changed even before the book began.

That is no joke exactly what's probably going to happen in the next book... and I can't right now, I just can't. That's their last conversation right there, and it's so sad but so lovely at the same time and I WISH IT COULD BE REAL. You have such a way with capturing the emotion of the characters... sigh. So jealous. Excellent as always.

That was so sad! Why? It was just so evil to have Eight and Marina meet and then to have it end that way, without them telling each other how they feel. Why?
That was a beautiful chapter, and the angst almost made me go crazy... Why was that so sad? Oh my god, I swear if Pittacus Lore doesn't bring back Eight, I will hunt him down! I can't stand this!
On a brighter note, great job. The song fits in perfectly with the chapter, and (somehow) makes it even sadder, and I especially love how you've captured Eight and Marina so so perfectly. Her reaction to his death, her new personality (which I really don't like, though, Eight needs to come back!), and especially Eight's emotions and thoughts in that fantastic ending... Picture perfect.

So sad. No. So depressing! :'(
That would be harder for Marina if she'll be seing Eight only in her dreams and waking up with nothing. OML it's just like me... Dreaming of the Garde with me then waking up finding that I'm still stuck in my normal boring life. :/
It's also like Adam and One.
It's really written well. It's lovely. But still so sad...
The song lyrics perfectly fit, I would like to listen to it sometime. Wait, why not now? Hehe

Just a thought... when you get back, can you write a continuation to this, where Eight is revived after this dream to see how his death changed everyone and preferably tell Marina how he feels? Aah I love Navrina! My day has been made. :)

Lies. Sorry I found that really funny for some reason. But actually, I was a little surprised at first to find it was Marina being the bad girl here. I would have assumed it'd be like, anyone else. I'm even more surprised that it actually seemed to WORK.
And not only did they get drunk, but they were being baaad in the kitchen. Tsk tsk. They be wild ones, those two. I guess that's what happens when you get a penthouse.
But in all seriousness, you did a great job with the humour of this chapter. I especially love how the style of the story seemed to reflect how Marina was feeling. They are so cute together, you just do it so well. I can't. I just can't.
BUUUUT for songs, you've got me through a loop. I can think of like ten good songs, but nothing spot on, you know? I think my top pick would be Intoxicated by The Cab, I think it sums up Marina and Eight's relationship pretty well and it kind of has an alcohol-related vibe. Can't wait until the next chapter!

HOOOOLY YYY. First off, I love that song. So yea, I was really excited about it even before I started reading it. That was... so cute, I can't even... You made it so nice! The way everyone acted... reacted was absolutely spot on, I can't imagine them doing anything else. Not to mention Eight and Marina having a fight that actually looked like they had fought. I just can't express how well you made everything work. I love this chapter so much, I think it might be one of my favourites.
I especially like how you gave us an explanation about Sam. You didn't have to include it, but I love how you did. The detail was fantastic, love this chapter!
