I wasn't sure what to make of this at first. Mean Sam never really occurred to me... but you did a really great job with mean Sam. I never expected it to work that well, but why should I be surprised, it's you.
It was very well written, the length nevermind, it was perfect. You do so well with prompts, I think I'll need to come up with one for you!
For a song, I kind of thought that Mark's struggles went really well with the song I'm Alive by Story of the Year. It's a real coming of age song, kind of like what Mark goes through here and how John helps him.

I love it! I'll admit, when I saw the name of the chapter, I thought it would be a Nine one-shot. I sure didn't expect it to be from Marina's POV. :)
It was absolutely hilarious, especially the part where they tease Ella, and the ending had me laughing until it hurt, so great job.
