Love this! You're so right - he would be *so* out of his depth. But I especially like your portrayal of Elsa here: still all high and mighty and regal, but 100% human and willing to admit that she may have done something wrong.
Well done!

Awwww I love this!
This part is hilarious:
Kristoff had stared at her for a long moment, unsure, conflicted. "Well," he'd said finally, "if we want to be technical, Anna saved herself."
"With a substantial amount of help. Have you always been quite so self-effacing?"
"Well, no… I mean, it's taken years of practice."
:D would you consider cross-posting to AO3?

You know, I'm pretty sure that pink did not connote unmanliness at the time that Frozen took place in.

However, I can (almost) understand reluctance at the lace, since frills are very expensive... but again, did not denote gender.
Silly Kristoff, you're several centuries early!

Aww! I'm getting all gooey over here! This is exactly what I imagined would happen in order to get Kristoff into the castle. The gentle and awkward start of something between him and Anna is also quite adorable. I seem to be using that word with a lot of your stories... still true though.

Now how did I miss this one? Now I must go find your other Kristoff and Anna stories as I do like how you captured their aura and character! Awaiting more!

Ever since I saw the movie and first glanced through the Frozen fanfic archives, I've been complaining about the lack of good stories (mostly because I've been spoiled by extremely good Tangled stories). And then I found this one. It's WONDERFUL. I love that it's not just Kristoff/Anna, though they are adorable together and you've captured their voices and interactions perfectly. But you've developed Kristoff's character more fully and in a totally realistic way (I LOVE the his/her/us/possessive reflections that continue throughout the piece). And you've given interaction between Kristoff and Elsa and between Elsa and Anna while also developing Elsa's character further (which is something I wanted more of in the movie). LOVELY. Thank you for writing this.

You've really captured all the characters! I actually laughed out loud at the whole pronouns thing - it is so Kristoff and so funny! Amazing work. D
