Hi,

I started writing Can't Stay Away a little over 20 years ago as a teenager obsessed with a TV show. When starting it, I never dreamed so many would enjoy it and I definitely never thought that I would start a sequel as well that, now at 37 years old, I still have not finished. My writing always came in spurts and was always unpredictable because I have the attention span of a goldfish. I would get a random idea and move on to a different story, an entirely different fandom, or would decide I wanted to write something original and forget about fanfic altogether. Then there were the moments where my writing was plagiarized and I deleted everything. With the mixture of all of it, so much was left unfinished.

CSA and WFM were the only ones I ever really came back to though.

I was listening to spotify a few weeks ago and a song came on and this version of Tristan and Rory instantly popped into my head and suddenly after so many years… I had the urge to write again. I'm not sure how many people are still around to read this or are still even interested in this story after all these years, but even if none are - I want to finish it for me. For these characters that I love. So, I drug out my ancient laptop that had all my writing on it and started to reread WFM and build ideas of where to go from here.

Now here we are.

I spent last night rewriting chapter one, because my writing style and story preferences have changed a lot in the many years since I wrote it, and will be going through the next chapters today and reposting them. Then, finally after two decades, some deletion and reuploading and a couple name changes, I will be finishing this story here, as well as on Ao3, under my username secretsofthesky.

Thank you to everyone who ever took the time to click on something I've written and gave it a chance. And to anyone who is reading this and who still has interest in this story after all this time. I hope you enjoy the redone chapters and what is to come.

-Kellie

PS - For CSA - I started writing it when I was young and didn't know what I was doing. To say it is a cringefest would be the understatement of the century. It needs a complete overhaul and I have tried to do so many times over the years but it's honestly so much harder rewriting than it is just writing something new. I will continue to work on it though. Just very, very slowly.

Cliff Notes of it though if you're interested in this sequel: good girl meets bad boy biker. They fall in love and live happily ever after… until he fucks it all up.
