Presenting... A ridiculous one-shot of a one-sided Pitch/Elsa. Why did I even bother doing this? Please leave a review. :)
From the distance, he saw her.
Dancing and singing with so much freedom and joy, she fashioned a magnificent ice castle built on a foundation of rocks and snow. He watched how she crystalized a magnificent dress from snokwflakes, marking her ascension to the liberty she sought all through her life.
A dark chuckle rumbled through his chest. He was the master of fear after all, and the many years he invested in nurturing the darkness within her produced devastatingly satisfying results on his part. She was so, so, so unaware of the consequences of her actions...
But there was a tug in his chest that he couldn't understand. In her, he saw somewhat a piece of himself. It was a longing for someone he could never have. A friend, a home...
He laughed to himself. Turning his back, he made a final look on the woman whom he destroyed for the remainder of her years of childhood joy. He had robbed her of it ever since she struck her sister with magic. He was about to flee that part of Arendelle, but then...
Why... Why was it possible fot Pitch Black to feel so... So guilty?
Without looking back at the Snow Queen, he made light motions with his hands. The black dust he had implanted within her from many years back seeped out of her without noticing, returning to his fingertips like they had been a part of his being all along. He couldn't look back, not after what he had done to himself...
This was his chance... This was his chance to get back at the Man in the Moon. He could have used this girl... This sweet, innoccent, beautiful girl...
Ice and Dark would have made such a beautiful combination.
But he couldn't. She was the only light he could see. He could not taint her light with darkness after all.
"The cold never bothered me anyway..."
To the last lines of her song, he smirked. That's my girl.
But she wasn't his girl. Never was. Never will be.
In three srtides he disappeared into the shadows of the night. He would not return until he gained the world, until nothing was left but fear.
So he would wait... He would wait until she left this world. Because while she was here, Pitch would keep his own dreams at bay. For now, she was his light.
