This is my last story, people. Tonight, I'm moving to Mexico, Changing my name, and growing a mustache. You'll understand why at the end of this story. I'm sorry.

Before she even opened her eyes, Calypso knew something was wrong. She didn't feel the heat of Leo's body next to her like she did every morning. Immediately, she leapt out of bed and reached for her knife.

Silently, she crept down the stairs to the main level where she and Leo worked on machines. She scanned the massive room for any sign of her husband.

"Do you need assistance?" Asked a robotic voice behind her. She whirled around and nearly beheaded their AI, Carl. The robot was one of Leo's newest inventions, a machine that was stronger than a human, and could do anything they asked him, while still having human intelligence and personality. It was nothing short of amazing.

"Um… Yes actually. Have you seen Leo today?" Calypso asked.

"Searching memories. Yes, Leo Valdez was sighted One hour and 37 minutes ago."

"What was he doing?" She demanded.

"I do not know. I am sorry I could not be of more assistance." Calypso sighed and continued to search the room.

Just as she was ready to give up, Calypso spotted a boot on the other side of a beat up old Toyota. She sprinted to the other side of the car, and was met with the most awful sight she could have imagined. Leo was lying on the ground, surrounded by a pool of blood. Impaled in his chest was a long, Celestial Bronze sword.

Tears leaked down Calypso's face as she took in the sight. But her sadness quickly turned to anger.

Why have the gods done this? She thought. Have they not already punished me enough on that eternal prison?

Angrily, she picked up an engine part and hurled it at the window, the action giving her a little comfort. In a the back of the mind, a small thought sprung up. Why was he wearing a Button up shirt? The last time he wore anything dressy was at their wedding. Also, how did the sword het perfectly between two buttons like that?

However, these thoughts were pushed away when she saw a small piece of whit sticking out of Leo's hand. A note. Gingerly, she bent over and picked it up. Would Leo really do this to himself? Why a sword? Leo could just as easily build a gun.

However, the note only contained five words.

Happy April Fool's Day, Clyp.

Happy April Fool's Day to all! Sorry it's short!
