Jane, Alec, Aro, and I were on our way back to our quarters when Helena crossed our path. She stopped and glanced at us and then started to continue on before stopping suddenly turning to look right at Jane and Alec. She shook her head and mumbled something to herself.
"Helena?" Jane asked as she took a step towards her Alec stay were he was.
"You know me?" Helena asked.
"Of course I know you sister." Jane replied.
"Jane? But how over a thousand years have passed?" she asked.
"Jane, Aro and I are going to leave you and Alec to talk to Helena alone. Just don't go talking in the corddior all night. Alright?" I told her/asked.
"Of course, Isa. You both should be getting to bed anyway you both have a big day tomorrow." Jane replied/told us.
"Indeed we do Jane. Have a nice talk with your sister you two." Aro told them. Then Aro and I walked away to let the three of them talk alone. Once in our quarters Aro and I went straight to sleep for once. We were both exhausted and we were getting married tomorrow afternoon at one, we both needed the sleep. In the morning when Aro and I were on our way to the Great Hall, Helena surprised us by blocking our path.
"I'm sorry to surprise you like this, that wasn't my intention." she told us both before looking at Aro. "Thank you for saving Jane and Alec from that horrible fate, Aro." she told him. If ghost were able to cry I swear Helena would be balling right now if the look on her ghostly face was anything to go on. Then she turned to me. "Jane and Alec tell me that you are family?" she asked.
"Yes, as well as a few others here." I replied. Helena nodded.
"Rosalie and Kate I've already spoken with them. I know that you two are getting married today and have things to do before the cermony. But I would like to talk to you again." she replied.
"Of course, Helena. I've wanted to talk to you when I was living here, but you were so shy that I just left you alone." I told her. She looked at me for a moment.
"You were the little girl that was raised here, Professor Snape's daughter yes?" she asked.
"Yes that was me." I replied. Helena giggled.
"You surly lighten things up around here then, after you became a student you didn't stand for any bullying. If you saw anyone getting bullied you immediately went to one of the Professor usually your father." she said. I nodded.
"Yes, my father was constantly bullied when he was a student here and I knew that he wouldn't stand for it to happen to another student." I replied as she look to her left I followed her gaze to see the Bloody Baron heading this way.
"I will speak to you two later I must go now." she told us and disappeared in a hurry. The Bloody Baron hurried past us. As Aro and I contiuned on to the Great Hall he asked.
"I'm guessing that was the Bloody Baron?"
"Yes. He always trying to get Helena to talk to him. I can't really blame her for not wanting to, he is the one that killed her to begin with." I told him as we entered the Great Hall. A very decorated Great Hall. I looked at Filius and raised one of my eyebrow.
"This is NOT my doing Lady Isabella, this is all your father's and Alice Cullen's doing." Filius said has he justered to the decorations surrounding us. I looked over at my father and Alice who had been talking quitely in the corner of the room until Filius had given them away.
"What is this?" I asked them justering to the decorations.
"Decorations for the wedding of course." Alice replied.
"Couldn't you have waited until the Muggle Wedding to go crazy with the decorations?" I asked.
"I wanted to make it up to you from that party from last September." Alice told me hanging her head in shame. I grimaced that party really didn't turn out very well. Not that I wanted it in the first place. I turned to look at Aro who was looking at the pink streamers in horror, which I couldn't really blame him I hated pink with a passion.
"Fine Alice but only on one condition." I told her before pointing at the pink and white decorations. "Change the color." I demanded before turning for the staff table.
"I told you she hated pink with a passion." I heard my father tell Alice as he pointed his wand at the decorations that turned from pink and white to green and silver. My father looked at me for my approvely, I looked at Aro and he mouthed 'much better' to me. I smirked before turning back to my father and Alice.
"Nice choice father, I never would have thought to use the Slytherin House colors." I said and nearly brusted out laughing when I heard Aro suck in a breath and looked back at the decorations. After that I got to work on the pancakes, eggs, sausage, and potatoes that Aro had piled onto my plate along with a goblet of blood and a cup of jasmine tea. Before Aro and I left the Great Hall grandmother stopped me and told me that she would come and get me at 11 o' clock to get me ready. I nodded and then lead Aro down to the Slytherin common room where Salazar Slytherin portrait hung up at. I had gotten the password from father the day before. As soon as we reached the portrait I gave the current password.
The portrait swung open and I lead Aro into the Slytherin common room. I looked around me and noticed that nothing had changed since I was a student.
"Hello Isabella." said a voice that I had learned to know over the years. Aro and I turned to the owner of the voice.
"Hello Salazar." I greeted back. Salazar then looked at Aro for a moment before speaking again.
"Your father has informed me of your up coming wedding to an Ancestor of mine, Isabella. Congratulations." Salazar said to me before addressing Aro.
"You're Aro yes?" Salazar asked.
"Yes. It is a honor to meet you, Salazar." Aro replied.
"Likewise." Salazar replied as a thoughtful look appeared on his face. "You have no idea how glad I am that Tom Riddle will not be able to get his hands on the Slytherin Properties." Salazar told us. Aro and I looked at one another before looking back at Salazar portrait.
"Umm, what Slytherin Properties?" Aro asked.
"You'll need to talk to the goblins at Gringotts and request the deeds to the properties as well as proving proof of your bloodline. " Salazar told Aro.
I'll be sure to talk to them as soon as possible." Aro replied. After Salazar wished Aro and I well on our futures together we left the Slytherin Common Room. "That was weird." Aro said as we left the dungeons.
"What was weird?" I asked.
"The whole talking to portraits thing. I'm still not used to it." Aro replied.
"It does take awhile to get use too, when you haven't been around it. Since I have basicly lived here since I was six years old, most of the portraits and ghosts I consider friends." I replied. We had just turned the corner and I groaned at who I saw. Peeves. Out of everything and everyone that lived at Hogwarts I hated Peeves with a passion. Expectionally after he had seriously injured me when I was eight when I was heading to the library why my father was teaching a class. I doubt if it hadn't been for the blood that was dripping onto the floor no one probably wouldn't had found me until dinner. Two Slytherin sixth year girls that had had a free period at the time had found me. One of them stayed with me as well as trying to get me down from the rafter and the other literally went running to my father interrupting the class. At hearing that I was hurt my father ran out of his classroom not even bothering to dismiss the class. That had been the first time that I had seen my father lose his temper. He had literally went on the war path when it came to Peeves, father had also refused to teach another class until I had fully recovered from my injuries.
"WILL YOU GO AWAY YOU ANNOYING THING!" I heard Rosalie's voice snap causing me to snap out of the memory. I pulled my wand out of my pocket and zapped Peeves.
"Go away Peeves before I sec the Bloody Baron on you." I said glaring at him. He shrieked and flew off as if the Bloody Baron was already on his tail. I then turned to Rosalie and Irina. "Are you both all right?" I asked.
"Yeah, we're fine. What was that annoying thing anyway?" Rosalie replied/asked.
"That was Peeves the poltergeist. Be careful when it comes to him his so called pranks have cause serious injury." I replied.
"How serious?" Irina asked.
"Serious enough to have to spend a month in the hospital wing." I replied.
"Who did he injury that badly?" Aro asked. I sighed and looked at him before answering.
"What? When? How?" Aro asked his protect his mate at all cost instinct starting to surface. I was soon telling them the whole story of that incident. By the end of my story Aro was down right furious and he was holding me as close to him as phyically possible. I turned completely to him and placed my hands on his cheeks forcing him to look at me.
"I'm right here next to you Aro safe and sound along with our children." I told him calmly as my grandmother and father came around the corner. They looked from me to Aro then to Rosalie and Irina.
"What happened?" grandmother asked.
"I'll tell you as I'm getting ready for the wedding grandmother." I told her. "Is it 11 o' clock?" I asked. She nodded.
"Yes. Jane is getting everything ready." she replied. I nodded and looked back to Aro.
"I'll see you in a couple of hours, Aro." I told him. He nodded and kissed my forehead and left with my father as I went with my grandmother with Rosalie and Irina tagging along to help out. I have to admit that I've been completely surprised by Irina's behavior towards me. I thought she would have tried to kill me by now, well I wasn't going to push my luck by asking. When we got to Jane and Alec's quarters and saw Alice waiting with Jane I wanted to turn around and run.
"Don't worry Isabella I'm just here for the company and to give you a gift from Esme and Carlisle." she said when she looked up at me as she was sitting in one of the armchairs. She also had a wrapped box laying on her lap.
"Where is Esme?" I asked.
"She's helping along with Carmen, Charlotte, and some of the Hogwarts House Elves getting everything for the reception set up. And Carlisle is trying to help calm down a very nervous Aro." she replied.
"Why is Aro nervous? He was fine when I left him with my father." I asked/said.
"He's afraid that you're going to change your mind about marrying him at the last second. Your father, Carlisle, and Xenophilius are trying to convince him that you would never do that to him." Alice replied. I sighed.
"It's the memories that the potion restored." I told her. They all looked at me in wondered. "I won't tell you, but I will tell you that Aro's human life was not the best. He basicly went through aliving hell along with his sister Didyme." I told them as I set down at Jane's vainity. In just a little over an hour I was ready to get married to Aro. When Alice presented me with Esme and Carlisle's gift I just about brusted into tears. I knew that I was related to Carlisle, but I wasn't expecting this. In the box was a crest made similar to the Hogwarts crest with the four houses combined, but on this crest was the Prince, Cullen/Daviot, Whitlock, Ravenclaw, Dumbledore, Hale, Slytherin, and Volturi crests all on this one pendent. I was fixing to asked Alice who's idea this was when there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it." Rosalie said as she rushed to the door and opened it. To my surprise it was Esme with Athenodora who was carrying a jeweled box in her hands.
"Did Albus go and get you?" I asked her.
"No. Your father sent Vivi to get Marcus and I so we could attend the wedding. Speaking of the wedding Marcus what's his soon to be sister in law to wear this. He believes that Didyme would have wanted you to wear it today and I agree with him." she replied/told me as she set the box down and opened it to reveal a tiara covered in diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and sapphires. I sucked in a breath as she placed it on my head, I had not been expecting this or had I 'seen' it. Speaking of seeing at that moment I fell into a vision. When I come out of my vision I was to the point of tears.
"Isabella is something wrong?" my grandmother asked clearly worried about whatever I had seen. I shook my head slightly.
"No, nothing is wrong grandmother, but would you mind going to St. Mungo's tomorrow?" I replied/asked.
"I don't mind but may I asked why?" she replied/asked. I then told her about Alice and Frank Longbottom and what the three LeStrange's and Barty Crouch Jr. had done to them. Grandmother gladly agreed to go to St. Mungo's tomorrow and heal Alice and Frank Longbottom like my vision had shown. It was 12:55 so I casted a disillusionment charm on myself after handing Aro's ring to Jane who was my matron-of-honor, so just in case we come across Aro on the way to the Great Hall he wouldn't be able to see me. We then left for the Great Hall ready with my whole heart and soul to happily marry Aro.
I was a major nervous wreak, I couldn't stand or sit still for nothing. It was when to my surprise Marcus showed up and told me that I had nothing to worry about. That an army of newborns wouldn't be able to stop Isabella from marrying me. I was able to calm slightly after that but I was still nervous. At 12:50 I couldn't wait any longer I made sure that Carlisle had Isabella's ring since he was my best man and took off to the Great Hall to await my bride with the others on my heels. Instead of going on inside with the rest of us, Severus stayed outside the Great Hall to wait for Isabella so he could give her away.
