192A Sibling to Save
"Oh, my parents are going to kill me." wined a panicking Leo, pacing around. "Then they'll bring me back as a zombie & kill me, again!"
"You're over exaggerating." Save chirped
"Maybe if I use Sorry to create a fake Tim, then maybe I'll be ok." Leo suggested
"Hey Leo." Christi called
"No, that'll never work." Leo muttered, not paying attention to Christi.
"Hey Leo." Christi repeated
"Maybe I should get a Hypongrif & wipe their memories of Tim's existence." Leo suggested
"Hey Leo." Christi repeated with a more annoyed tone.
"No, that'll be difficult & will take too long." Leo muttered
"HEY LEO!" Christi shouted, finally getting his attention.
"What do you want?!" Leo demanded "Can't you see that I just lost my brother?! He may be dead & soon I will be, too!"
"But Tim's not dead." Christi assured
"How can you be so sure?" Leo asked
"Because now Brink has leverage against your family." Christi explained "If he kills Tim then Brink will have to face the full wrath of the Shanes & nobody wants that fate to fall on them."
"True, but what if he hurts him?" Leo asked worriedly
"Then let's go get him before that happens." Christi answered
"But go where?" Leo asked "We don't know where that masked creep took him."
"Yes, we do." Garo assured
"Really?" Leo asked, completely confused.
"Yeah, if you had a hostage wouldn't you keep them in the most secure place you have?" Garo asked
"Yeah, so that means Tim is at the Hyper Headquarters!" Leo grinned but it disappeared into a frown. "Oh, he's at the Hyper Headquarters."
"Don't worry that'll just make it more fun to break into." Christi assured putting her hand on Leo's shoulder, making him give a small smile. "So what's the plan?" Christi asked, removing her hand.
"First, thing we need is equipment like mods, binoculars, rope, stuff like that." Leo answered
"And where do we get that, without paying for anything." Garo asked curiously.
Leo gulped. "We have to go to my place & get it." Leo replied nervously.
"Why do you sound so scared?" Quiver asked
"My parents may be home." Leo clarified, getting scared of the idea that they may find out.
After they gathered their slugs Leo left to go get the equipment from his home, while his team left to scout the Hyper Headquarters. Leo arrived to his home cavern in 30 minutes, he left Walker hidden about 100 meters away from the hideout. Leo snuck up to the hideout & he climbed up to his bedroom window. He opened the window quietly entering into the room. Once Leo was sure that no one heard him he began to search his room for the mods & anything else that may be useful. He gathered several silencer mods, some rope, a pair of binoculars, bags of slug tubes, & other mods that may prove to be useful. He placed everything into a duffle bag, until he realized that something was missing. "Where's my fusion mod?" Leo asked, looking around the room.
"Don't you remember?" Save asked "You left it in the living room."
"Shoot." Leo complained
He quietly opened the bedroom door & peered out to see nobody around & to see his fusion mod sitting on the table below. Leo hoped over the railing & quietly jumped to the main living space. He quickly yet quietly approached the mod & picked it up. Leo grinned & began to walk away until he slipped on a banana peel, that Pronto had left behind after coming over for dinner yesterday. "Who's there?" demanded Trixie, from the sound of her voice Leo could tell that she was in the opposite room, probably working on her next movie.
Leo quickly stood up, hiding the mod behind his back, & grinned as Trixie entered the room. "Oh, hi Leo. You're back early." she greeted "Where's Tim?" Looking around for her youngest child, making Leo more nervous & scared.
"Oh, uh, he's with my friends." Leo lied, giving a nervous grin.
"But why are you here?"
"Um, we found a herd of slugs, but they burrowed into the ground so I came back to get slug reels so we could fish them put."
"Ok, they're in the garage. Stay safe." Trixie said, leaving the room.
"I will." Leo lied as Trixie shut the door.
He then sprinted to the garage & grabbed a slug reel, he then sprinted up stairs, grabbed the duffle bag, & sprinted out of the house. He ran to where he left Walker, jumped on, & rode off to the Hyper Headquarters making sure not to drop anything. "You should have just told her the truth." Save chirped as they sprinted through the cavern.
"Why so she can freak out & kill me?" Leo snapped
"No so your parents can help us get Tim back." Save clarified
"I know they can help us, but I just don't want to let them down again." Leo responded with a saddened tone.
"Leo, they're your parents but also Tim's they should know." Save insisted "And their not going to kill you."
"I know that," Leo clarified "but when I was Tim's age I was almost killed because of my arrogance, & because of me Tim may be killed."
Save understood & said "But look at how well that one mistake turned out. You have the abilities of the Shadow Clan, you're an amazing slinger & person, & most importantly you have me." Save grinned, making Leo give a slight smile. "And so what if you made a mistake that got Tim captured?" Save continued "That's one mistake that you're fixing right now & I grantee that no harm will come to Tim."
"You know you're right." Leo grinned "Some good may come from this."
"Yeah, & even if he's tortured that will be nothing since he has to live with you." Save teased
"Sheesh, what happened to making me feel better?" Leo asked sarcastically
"What about it?" Save sassed
Leo shook his head & chuckled as they entered the Hyper's home cavern. He set Walker to a jog as he searched for his friends. "Where are you guys?" Leo asked, speaking through his ear piece.
"On the west side of the base." Garo replied, through the ear piece.
Leo had Walker sprint towards their location, he eventually reached them 3 minutes later, they were hiding on a far off cliff that overlooks the Hyper base. If you don't remember what the base looks like it's an incredibly large building which is surrounded by a giant metal wall with towers & cannons set in place. "Did you get everything?" Quiver asked, when Leo arrived
"I sure did." Leo answered, tossing the duffle bag in front of them.
"Sweet." Garo grinned as he pulled out several mods & a bunch of slug tubes.
"Did you guys locate Tim?" Leo asked
"Well thanks to my hacking skill." Christi bragged, as her computer projected an image of the Hyper base. "We've been able to look at their blueprints." she continued "And the best bet is that they'll have Tim in the detention center located on the bottom third floor of the fortress."
"So we can't just walk in & out." Leo added "And they've improved their security since the last time we were here."
"Is that a problem?" Christi asked with a slight smile.
"Nope, it just makes it that much more fun." Leo grinned
"Ok, all joking aside. How are we getting in there?" Garo asked
"What if we wait until it's dark out & then sneak in?" Quiver suggested
"No, that'll take too much time, to wait for it to be nightfall." Leo denied "We need a way to get to Tim."
"Yeah, and without letting him get in harm's way." Christi added
Leo thought about it & formed a plan. "I got an idea." Leo declared
"What is it?" Garo asked & Leo explained his plan.
"This is a terrible plan." Christi complained a few minutes later as they rode their mechas towards the fortress.
"I totally agree." Jinx chirped
"No one asked you to do this," Leo snapped "but if you want to chicken out I guess that's ok."
Christi just responded by sprinting past Leo. "That's more like it." Leo smirked, pulling out the fusion mod.
Leo allowed Revenge & Slushy to jump into the mod. Leo inserted the mod & launched the 2 slugs. The 2 slugs velacimorphed & fused together to become one slug. It has the body shape of a velacimorphed Frostcrawler with swamp green skin & orange brown fur. The slug shot a green ice blast at the side of the wall incasing it in a green colored ice sheet. Under the green ice Leo could see the metal rusting & dissolving away, & then the ice broke apart & the metal wall breaking apart along with it, creating a giant hole. The slugs unfused, reverted back into protoform, landed on the ground, & cheered as the Shane Strikers sprinted toward the fortress. Leo snatched up his slugs as they rode by.
They jumped through the hole & began slinging slugs at every Hyper slinger they saw. Garo launched a Tazerling that electrocuted several goons. Quiver fired Logie who trapped 3 Hyper slingers in a mound of goop. Christi shot a Speedstinger that ratcheted off Hyper slingers' heads. And Leo launched Avalanche who tackled a couple of goons, knocking then backwards. "This is some plan!" Garo cheered, launching a Grenuke at a pack of slingers.
"This is some plan, alright." Christi muttered disapprovingly, after she hopped off Skip.
"Come on, you have to admit this is kind of fun." Leo smirked as he jumped off Walker & fired Jokes who caused several slingers to start laughing.
Christi took the opportunity to fire a Hop Rock at them, blasting them away. "Ok, maybe it is." Christi admitted with a slight grin as the fortress' alarms began to ring.
Meanwhile, inside the Hyper Headquarters, Brink was sitting at his desk when he heard the alarm go off. "Dwin, what is going on out there?" Brink demanded, speaking into an intercom.
"We have some trouble at the west wall!" Dwin replied, through the intercom.
Brink turned on his computer to see Leo firing Jokes on the screen. "They've arrived quicker than I expected." Brink muttered, before standing up & casually exiting his office.
Back in the courtyard, Leo had just launched Bee. She velacimorphed, multiplied, swarmed several slingers, & began stabbing them with their noses. And as they were stabbed, the body parts that were stung became num not allowing them to be able to swat back the clones or even pick up their blasters. "This may be easier than I thought." Leo smirked, watching the slingers get chased around by the swarm of clones.
A Hyper Hop Rock zoomed by, nearly hitting Leo's head. Leo looked towards the building to see Dwin loading a Hyper Whail. "Get lost, kid." Dwin ordered, before firing the Hyper slug.
Leo quickly loaded & launched Fang. The Vamdire velacimorphed, bit down on the velacimorphed Whail, Fang let it go to allow it to crash into the ground as he flew at Dwin, & punched him in the gut. Dwin was knocked off his feet & launched backwards. He groaned as he got up, but then got knocked out by Smasher. "They don't make slingers like they used to." Leo smirked, spinning his blaster, as a protoform Smasher & Fang returned to him.
He was then tackled by a Hyper Sand Angler. "Are you sure about that?" Jack smirked, as he loaded another Hyper slug.
"Burns." Leo said, glaring at Jack.
"Shane." Jack growled, glaring back at Leo.
"What's the deal, Jack?" Leo demanded "Why would Hyper kidnap a little kid?!"
"That kid, is a Shane, & it's not like Shanes care if someone is taken from someone's life." Jack snarled
"My father didn't murderer yours!" Leo announced
"Don't lie to me!" Jack snapped "I know the truth, I saw it happen, I-" he cut himself off. He took a breath & said "I don't need to tell you that, all I need to do is get rid of you." he added before firing a Hyper VenusSlim.
The Hyper slug burrowed into the ground & sprouted a giant carnivorous plant. The plant snapped at Leo, trying to eat him. Leo dodged the plant every time it struck at him. Leo then fired Grim who used his scythe like tail to chop the tall giant plant. "Timber!" Leo shouted as the plant began to fall towards Jack.
Jack frantically ran & dove out of the way of the plant. "Sorry about that, Jack!" Leo joked "I couldn't see you, because of the eyepatch."
"Keep talking like that," Jack muttered as he stood up. "and you'll have to wear a second eye patch!" he hissed, just before launching Scorch.
"Get em, Save." Leo said, loading Save & firing him at Scorch.
The 2 slugs velacimorphed & flew at each other. Scorch blasted a flame at Save as the Pulter blasted a green ray at Scorch. The 2 blasts collided & exploded as the slugs charged at each other before crashing into each other & causing another explosion of fire & green light. The blast was so strong that both Leo & Jack were sent off their feet & knocked backwards. The 2 slugs returned to protoform & fell to the ground as their slingers fell to the ground. "Ouch, that hurt." Leo groaned, sitting up as a Hyper slinger launched a Hyper Hop Rock at him.
Just as Leo noticed the Hyper slug Christi's Arachnt grabbed onto his back & pulled him away just before the slug exploded. "Thanks, Christi." Leo grinned, standing up as the Arachnet returned to protoform & hopped back to Christi.
Christi smiled out of appreciation. Several Hyper slingers each launched a Hyper Hop Rock at Leo & Christi. But the Hyper slugs were knocked away by Garo's Armashelt. "Will you two quite flirting, & keep slinging!" Garo demanded, launching a Polero at several slingers, tying them up.
"We're not flirting!" Leo & Christi shouted at the same time, they looked at each other but then looked away blushing until a Hyper Hop Rock flew by.
"Could have fooled me." Jack sneered after firing the Hyper slug, he then loaded & launched a Hyper Strang at the 2 Strikers.
Leo launched Driller as Christi fired a Rammstone. Driller tackled the Hyper Strang away allowing the Rammstone to be able to smash into Jack, knocking him off his feet. "Leave it to a Shane, to have his girlfriend to be the skilled one." Jack taunted as he picked himself up.
"I'm not his girlfriend!" Christi snapped, slightly blushing.
"And I am skilled!" Leo snapped, launching Rocket.
Jack retaliated by firing a Hyper Aquabeek. The Hyper slug gushed water that washed away Rocket, before flying straight at Leo. Leo quickly launched Soap who managed to capture the Hyper slug in his belly, before landing on the ground & reverting them both back into protoform. "Stop this Jack!" Leo demanded "Give me back my brother!"
"You didn't say please." interrupted Brink's voice.
Everyone stopped slinging & looked to see Brink standing at the entrance of the building. "Brink, give me back Tim!" Leo ordered, loading Gasher & aiming his blaster at Brink.
"Ah, ah, ah, I'd watch where you point that thing." Brink said "You wouldn't want to hurt your brother." he stepped to the side to reveal a terrified, tied up, & a muzzled Tim.
"Tim!" Leo called, but Brink aimed his blaster at Tim's head. "Back off, Brink!" Leo ordered, his blaster charging.
"You better watch your tone or you may regret it." Brink sneered, his blaster charging & still aimed at a terrified Tim's head.
Leo growled, & reluctantly lowered his blaster. "Now drop it." Brink ordered. Leo growled again & dropped his blaster. "All of you." Brink added, gesturing to the rest if the Shane Strikers who reluctantly drop their blasters.
Jack marched up to Brink. "Sir, let me face him I can defeat him." Jack demanded
"Quiet Jack, just stand aside & watch the fun." Brink ordered, he then turned back to Leo, as Jack growled but obeyed. "Now here's what's going to happen." Brink smirked "You're going to give up all your slugs, your blaster, & finally you're going to get your parents so we can negotiate."
"What?!" Leo demanded "You can't have my slugs or my -" he cut himself off after Brink's blaster began to charge again.
"What were you saying?" Brink asked sarcastically.
Leo gave a light smirk. "I said thank you for following my plan." he sassed, before kicking his blaster off the ground, into the air, catching it, & quickly firing Gasher at Brink.
Gasher velacimorphed, spun around, & flew in-between Brink & Tim, separating them from each other. Brink snarled but then was knocked away by Quiver's Armashelt, while Leo launched Grim.
Grim velacimorphed, grabbed on to Tim, & teleported him to Leo. "Oh, Tim I was so worried," Leo said, hugging his brother. "I was-"he cut himself off & let go of Tim. "I-I...I was tricked." Leo frowned as the illusion of Tim dissipated with a Hyper Thugglet appearing in its place.
Leo didn't have time to react to the situation because he was hit by a Hyper Rammstone. Leo crashed onto the ground & looked up to see several Hyper slingers aiming their blasters at him. "I'd give up if I were you." Brink smirked
Leo looked around to see that his friends didn't have their blasters & were surrounded by slingers. "You've failed young Shane," Brink sneered "you're nothing but a shame to your family."
Jack was a bit taken back by Brink's reaction, probably because he's never seen this side of Hector.
"Take them away." Brink ordered the slingers
The slingers then took the Shane Strikers into the building & towards the prison. "I could have taken him." Jack declared
"No you couldn't have, he may be a fool but he's able to defeat you." Brink affirmed, before heading back towards the building, leaving an upset Jack.
Meanwhile, the Hyper slingers led the Strikers through the building. One slinger is handling all the Striker's blasters, another 2 carried slug barrels filled with the Striker's slugs, & the other slingers made sure to keep their blasters aimed at the Strikers. "Some plan." Garo muttered disappointingly.
"Sorry, that wasn't supposed to happen." Leo apologized
"Well, what was supposed to happen?" Christi asked
"I thought that if we could cause enough chaos that Brink would bring out Tim to use him as leverage." Leo explained "And then I'd separate the 2 of then, get Tim, & we could get out, but that didn't-"
"Hey, quiet talking." ordered one of the Hyper slingers, as they entered the prison center which was really a hallway with 10 jail cells, 5 on each side.
Leo & Garo looked to each other & nodded their heads, before they each punched a slinger in the face, knocking them out cold. The other slingers were taken by surprise as Christi kicked one of them & then punched him. Leo shoved one of the slingers who was table topped by Quiver. And before long the Shane Strikers had knocked out the Hyper slingers & tossed them into a nearby room. "Nice job guys." Leo complimented, after shutting the door to the room & getting their blasted & slugs back.
"Leo?" Tim's voice called out through the prison center.
"Tim? You in here, bro?!" Leo called, before they all sprinted down the hall, checking every cell.
"Guys, I found him!" Quiver called, from the last cell.
Leo was the first to make it to Quiver. Leo looked at the cell to see a relieved Tim behind the bars. "Tim!" Leo grinned, about to blast open the door with Magma.
"Hold on, dude." Garo interrupted, grabbing Leo's shoulder & holding him back. "How do we know if he's not another illusion?" Garo demanded
"Tell us somethings that only Tim & Leo would know." Christi told, the little kid.
"Leo's part Shadow Clan." Tim simply answered "And you two have a crush on each other." Tim teased
"I don't have crush on him/her!" Leo & Christi yelled
"Are you sure?" Tim teased, making Leo & Christi angrier.
"Yeah, it's Tim." Garo grinned, before punching down the cell door.
"Did you miss me?" Tim grinned, stepping out of the cell.
"I'm starting to wish that we shouldn't have come for you." Leo growled
"I'll take that as a yes." Tim responded happily.
Leo scowled & the muttered "I missed you bro."
Tim smiled & embraced Leo in a tight huge. "I missed you, too." Tim sighed
"Yeah, I know it's hard to not have me around." Leo joked, Tim & everyone else rolled their eyes.
"Sorry, to ruin the family reunion, but we gotta go." Christi interrupted
"Alright, let's go." Leo said as Tim let him go.
"We have to get our mechas." Garo pointed out
"But where would they be?" Leo asked
"Let's check." Christi answered as she walked towards a nearby counsel.
She pulled out a plug & inserted it into the counsel & to her computer. She then began to hack the system & before long she knew were to go. "There's a garage that leads outside into the courtyard." Christi said
"So we need to get to the garage, get our mechas, get outside, & get past the wall." Leo explained "Sounds like a piece of cake."
"Mmmm, cake." Soap grinned
"It's not that kind of cake." Save clarified from Leo's shoulder
"Oh." Soap frowned
"Alright, since you have the directions you should lead the way." Leo said to Christi
"Ok, follow me guys." Christi said, unplugging her computer from the counsel & exiting the prison center with everyone following close behind.
Christi led them all through the building, Leo had fired Virus ahead of time to freeze all the security cameras. He also used Sorry to disguise them all as Hyper slingers. They easily arrived to the garage without any trouble or problems. "Alright everyone get your mechas & we'll hightail it out of here." Leo told his team, as the illusions dissipated.
"Um, Leo." Tim frowned, pointing towards something.
Leo looked to where Tim was pointing to see Jack standing by Walker & glaring at the escaping Strikers. "Out of the way Burns." Leo ordered as he stepped forward.
"Since your eyesight is so bad I'll let you know that there is nobody else here but me, you, & your little club." Jack scowled
"What's your point?" Leo demanded
Jack raised up his blaster & said "You & me, a one on one duel." Jack declared "If you win I'll let you walk out of here, & I won't even set off the alarm. But if I win, Leonardo, you will come quietly, & I'll even let your friends & even your brother to walk out of here."
"Why just me?" demanded a confused Leo
"As you know I have a bone to pick with your father, but I do have a conscious & I don't want to see a little kid or innocent people be tortured." Jack explained "You on the other hand, I wouldn't mind it at all."
"A one on one duel?" Leo echoed
"A one on one duel." Jack repeated
"Alright, Burns, you got yourself a deal." Leo agreed, pulling out his blaster. He then turned to his friends. "Stay back guys, but be ready to make a run for it." he told them
"You know that we won't leave you behind, right?" Garo asked
"I know." Leo replied "But if you have to, you guys have to promise that you'll leave me behind & take Tim home."
"What?! Leo, no!" Christi exclaimed "You can't make us promise that."
"You have to." Leo pleaded, placing his hands on a worried Christi's shoulders. "You have to promise that you'll all run to safety."
"Ok, but I hope it we won't have to." Christi promised
Leo looked to Garo & Quiver. "You've had nothing but bad plans today, but if it makes you feel better I promise." Garo sighed worriedly.
"As do I." Quiver frowned
Leo gave them a light reassuring smile, before turning to Jack. "I'm ready." Leo announced, stepping forward & away from his friends, who had gathered around their mecha-beasts.
"When this coin hits the ground, we start." Jack announced, holding up a gold coin.
"Ok." Leo said, & Jack tossed the coin into the air.
The 2 slingers watched the coin flip into the air and fall to the ground. As soon as the coin touched the cold metal floor Leo & Jack simultaneously loaded & launched a slug at each other. Basher velacimorphed & crashed into Jack's Hyper Armashelt, both slugs knocked each other out. Leo launched SparkPlug, Jack dove out of the way & fired a Hyper Geoshard. The Hyper slug launched a ball of crystals at Leo, who managed to dive out of the way. Leo then loaded & launched Heat as Jack fired a Hyper Hop Rock. The 2 slugs zoomed past each other, velacimorphed, & flew at the opposite slinger. Leo & Jack both dodged the Hop Rocks.
"They're even." Quiver pointed out, Jack launched a Hyper Sand Angler that tackled Leo. "Never mind." Quiver corrected, as Leo stood back up.
Leo loaded & launched Prize followed by Return. The 2 slugs velacimorphed & Prize used his Crystalist attack, but Jack jumped backwards to avoid the crystals, that crashed into the ground and a wall of crystals sprouted. Return spun around the wall & slammed into Jack, knocking him to the ground. Return then flew back & knocked away his blaster. "You're going down Burns." Leo declared, loading Trip.
"I don't think so Shane." Jack snarled, quickly loading & firing a Hyper Rammstone.
Leo countered by launching Trip who was punched by the Hyper Rammstone, the Hyper slug then flew at Leo nearly crashing into him. Leo then launched PitFall, he velacimorphed, & trapped Jack in a mound of sand. Jack struggled to get free but when he did Leo had already loaded Magma & had his blaster aimed at Jack. "Checkmate." Leo smirked, his blaster charging.
Jack glared at the Shane, before a Hyper Armashelt zoomed out of nowhere & slammed into Leo's side, knocking him on to the hard floor. Jack, totally confused & surprised, turned his head to see an army of Hyper slingers & Brink. "Jack, you said you wouldn't warn anyone." Leo scowled, picking himself up.
"He didn't." Brink growled, launching a Hyper Lavalynx.
Leo jumped out of the way & looked to his friends. "Get out of here!" he shouted
Christi spoke up saying "But-"
"No buts, you promised!" Leo yelled
They hesitated but they reluctantly jumped on their mechas & sprinted away, with Walker who was set to autopilot, & they exited out of the Hyper base, leaving Leo to deal with the Hyper goons. "I had him!" Jack declared
"No you didn't." Brink scowled, pushing Jack aside & firing a Hyper Thresher.
The other Hyper slingers followed Brink's lead & they each launched a Hyper slug at Leo. "Help me out." Leo told Save, holding out a slug tube.
Save quickly jumped inside allowing Leo to load & launch him at the attacking Hyper slugs. Save velacimorphed and generated a wave of green energy at the charging Hyper slugs. The wave blast not only reverted the Hyper slugs back to protoform but it also sent every Hyper goon off their feet. Brink was the first to get back on his feet & pick up his blaster, & looked around for Leo who had disappeared.
Meanwhile, the Shane Strikers had made it to the outskirts of the Cavern before they stopped their mechas. "Why did we just leave him?" Garo asked
"We have to go back & get him." Tim pleaded, who was seated with Christi.
"Yeah, let's head back." Christi stated "We can't just leave him."
"But you guys promised." commented Leo's voice.
"We know but-" Christi cut herself off realizing that Leo was standing right there, with a cocky smirk on his face.
"Leo!" Tim cheered
"How'd you escape?" asked a relieved Christi
"I'm just that good." Leo smirked
"Really?" Quiver asked
"No." Leo replied, tossing his Shadow Walker up & down like a ball. "But thanks for keeping your promise, guys." he thanked
"No problem." Garo responded
"But you could have told us that you had the Shadow Walker." Quiver stated
"I thought you knew." Leo replied, mounting onto Walker & Tim joined him. "But I think it's time we call it a day." he added, revving Walker's engine.
"Agreed." everyone replied & they sprinted off for home.
"Hey, Leo." Tim called
"Yeah, Tim?" Leo replied
"Thanks, for rescuing me." Tim grinned
"No prob, just promise me one thing, ok?" Leo requested
"And what is that?" Tim asked
"Let's not tell our parents about what happened today." Leo answered "I don't want them to go berserk about it." he shuddered, just by thinking about what they would do to him if try ever found out.
"Agreed." Tim promised as they continued on their way home.
Meanwhile, back at the Hyper Headquarters, the Hyper slingers began to work on repairs & improvements and Brink was seated at his desk. "Jack come here." Brink ordered & gestured for Jack to approach. "That was very foolish, what you did here today." Brink stated
"I just wanted a chance to defeat him." Jack snapped
"Silence, you fool!" Brink hissed "If you want to defeat someone you need a strategy."
"What kind of strategy?" Jack asked
"A strategy that is powerful." Brink grinned evilly as he held up a yellow slug tube with a growling Hyper Grenuke inside. "A strategy that will blow the competition away." Brink added, before turning his head to observe the stockpile of slug barrels all of which are filled with nothing but Hyper Grenukes.
