From vampire elders like the original but different and more powerful to witches that are very powerful and perform dark magic and also werewolves that are kept away in the darkest part of the woods. The travelers are even there and fight battles against the witches. There had been no order in the kingdom for over 1000 year between the species. But then in 1632, the mikaelson came and they restored balance for some time but then we're force to leave by their father Mikael. In 2014, elijah mikaelson came back and the elders made him Prince of the kingdom in hope of one day restoring the kingdom's power.
