"Ugh…"

Shuffling around in his bed, Ozpin shifted under the covers and turned to the side to see the time. It was 10:35. Groaning, he sat himself up and grabbed his glasses off of the nightstand and put them on, still partially asleep.

Pulling the covers off of himself, he then dragged himself out of bed and began to stretch. After a few stretches he then walked over towards the far wall and flicked the light switch, illuminating the room.

With the lights now on, his clothes were more visible as he appeared to be wearing...coffee-themed sleepwear?

Yawning loudly, he made his way towards a closed door before opening it to reveal the restroom and turned on the light. Taking a moment to look into the mirror, he couldn't help but frown as some thoughts stirred around his head.

'Today's the day. In less than a few hours, they'll be coming for me. The sensors have been set up, the camera's are up and running, and Professors Port's 'Chariot' is ready and waiting. But even still, why do I feel like something's...off?'

When Jaune had returned from Vale yesterday, albeit with a few extra pieces of clothing and goods, he had confirmed that the sensors were all set up. Though he was more than a little concerned that Lie Ren had learned of the mission, he was happy to know that he had decided to help. And after Ozpin himself had confirmed it after seeing the sensors' signatures light up across the mapping of the city, he paid Jaune for completing his mission.

Ozpin had checked and rechecked everything, the escape routes were mapped, so why the hell did he feel like he had forgotten something?!

Maybe he just needed some coffee.

With a sigh, he went over to a nearby cabinet and grabbed a towel. Might as well take a nice shower before the great chase begins!

~Meanwhile, in JNPR's Room~

*Beep!* *Beep!* *Be-CRUNCH!*

"Nora, that's the fifth clock you've broken in these past three months…" Ren groaned as he lifted his head from under his pillow, looking at the cracked and broken form of the alarm clock, while off to the side was Nora, who continued to sleep with a content smile on her face.

Sadly, the sound of it going off then being crushed was loud enough to wake Jaune and Pyrrha, who were clearly not happy to be awake.

"Ren, why doesn't she just turn that off when it's the weekend?" Pyrrha asked grumpily, earning a pitiful sigh from Ren.

"Honestly, I have no idea, and I choose not ask about it."

Jaune, after wiping the gunk from his eyes and putting on his glasses, grabbed his scroll to check the time and nearly got blinded. After a few seconds of adjusting, he read the time.

"10:40. Might as well get up and ready I guess…" Jaune said as he sat up and stretched, hearing a few audible 'pops'.

"Jaune, are you going to Vale today as well?" Pyrrha inquired as she did her best to fix her hair, while Jaune just shook his head.

"No, not today. I'm probably just going to relax here for the day," Jaune said as he stood up. While he did that, he gave a silent nod to Ren, who caught it and returned it.

Pyrrha yawned a bit, but soon gave him a light smile.

"Well, that's nice. And since you'll be here, you can hang out with me and the others for the rest of the day!" Pyrrha said in an all too cheery tone, until her face shifted into an odd expression.

Jaune could only describe it as...unsettling.

"That won't be a problem, right?"

Ren couldn't help but inch away as he could almost feel the edge she put into the end of that sentence while even Jaune himself, who surprisingly managed to catch the sudden change in tone, decided to not mention it.

"U-Uh, sure Pyrrha, no problem!" He replied giving a meek smile.

After a few seconds Pyrrha's expression vanished and shifted into a light grin, as if nothing happened.

"Good!" Standing up, she then walked over to her dresser to grab her clothes before walking into the bathroom to shower and change.

As soon as she did, Jaune made a few hand gestures to Ren, asking him to meet up in the hallway. Giving a nod, Ren silently got up from his bed and followed Jaune out the door.

As soon as the door closed, Jaune gave Ren a questioning look.

"What the heck was THAT about?"

"Jaune, I'll be frank with you - with how frequently you've been leaving for the past week and how you've been pretty quiet about 'you-know-what'" Ren said earning a nod from Jaune, "I believe they're being blue balled right now."

Jaune's mind stopped. "Wha-?"

"Jaune, it's quite a common thing for women to feel that way, especially if they're feeling ignored or left out."

"Have they really been feeling like that as of late?"

Ren gave him a deadpan stare.

"You have no idea…"

Jaune was more than confused by that statement, but after having been at Beacon for so long, he couldn't help but see what he was meaning. Just another week at the academy, he supposed.

As the thoughts of his friends popped into mind, Jaune soon came upon a worrying thought.

"Ren, can I ask you an honest question?"

"Sure, what is it?"

"What'll happen when one of the girls confess to me?" Ren stopped as he looked to Jaune in confusion.

"What do you mean by that?"

"I mean, they all like me right? Well, what will I do if one of them decides to ask me out? How will I deal with that?" He asked with a look of worry spread across his face.

Ren stared at Jaune for a few seconds, his face as stoic as it could be, before giving a small smile.

"Jaune, listen well, alright? You are a good person, a great leader, but most importantly, you are more than capable of dealing with situations more complicated than this. When that time comes, when the girls decide to truly go after you, I know you'll make the right decision."

Jaune blinked at that. "You really think so?"

"Jaune, I know so. Now come on, let's go back in, get dressed and get breakfast, and just try and enjoy today."

Jaune smiled and nodded, and the the two then turned and went back into the room to get ready for the day.

~Unknown location AKA Crappy motel~

Kary: Alright, the day has finally come.

Leanora: Finally, its been a long time coming.

Helen: To be fair, it would've happened sooner if we hadn't been so busy with work.

Edna: True, but at least I was able to get a full layout of the academy.

Leanora: And even if he manages to get out of Beacon, we'll be one step ahead of him.

Helen: Still, he is a very cautious person. The moment he realizes something is wrong he'll be ready to act.

Kary: Don't worry about it, Hel. He may be smart, but he's way too predictable when he's panicked.

Edna: Indeed. But for now, let us get ready and...when do we leave?

Leanora: 11:50. Our transport is being fueled up right now.

Edna: Oh…

Helen: …

Kary: ...anyone wanna grab some breakfast?

Helen, Edna, Leanora: Yup!

~Cinder's Complex~

It was late in the morning for Cinder, which was partially due to her staying up a little too late in the night, as she trudged to her kitchen with a look that said she didn't want to do anything today.

Her nightgown showed this as well as it was wrinkled to all hell, and her hair was an absolute mess. This was certainly not a good morning for her.

Making her way towards the coffee maker, she went and grabbed a mug from a nearby cabinet and started it up. As it started heating up, Cinder started to contemplate what she was going to do today.

Maybe go out for a bit, try and keep herself occupied for a few hours? Or perhaps just laze about and enjoy her saturday?

Her thoughts were broken, however, as she heard the sudden sound of a large bowl being set on a nearby table.

Turning to the source of the noise, her eyes narrowed into a light glare.

"And just what are you doing here?"

~10 minutes later, in the Beacon Mess hall~

It was still breakfast, as JNPR, RWBY, CFVY, and oddly enough Sun were sitting around, eating and chatting as if all was calm in the world. Though Coco looked a little grumpy, as she had been forced to sleep outside the Dorm room because of a certain irate rabbit, much to the humor of the others.

"Achoo!" Jaune abruptly sneezed, getting the attention of the others around him.

"Bless you," Yang said getting a silent thank you from Jaune as the others started to talk amongst each other again. A minute passed before another sneeze came. And another, and another.

Yang gave him a half worried/joking look. "Jaune, I'm not a priestess, I can't keep blessing you!"

"Sorry," He said as cleaned his nose with a napkin, "I don't know why I started sneezing all of the sudden."

"Are you alright?" Pyrrha questioned as she felt his forehead, noting there was some heat there.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just a few light snee-eh. Eh! ACHOO!" Jaune sneezed out almost violently, scaring the others a tad.

"Yeah, real 'light'," Weiss commented as she handed him another napkin just in case, to which he gladly took.

"Maybe you should head back to the dorms," Pyrrha said with a light frown, "I'd hate to think you caught something while being out in Vale."

"Oh come on Pyrrha, its probably noth-Achoo!" Jaune couldn't finish his sentence as he sneezed once more. Pyrrha shook her head slightly.

"It's clearly not Jaune, go ahead and head back, we'll meet up back at the dorms in a little bit."

"You sure?" Jaune questioned as he finished wiping his nose.

"Positive, now go on…" Pyrrha said with a smile as she nudged Jaune up before the young man made his way out of the mess hall.

Ruby casted a worried look in his direction, "You think he's alright?"

"Eh, it's maybe nothing, probably just a slight cold," Yang said as she continued to eat. The table settled into a comfortable silence, with only the sound of the other students' conversations in the background.

Suddenly, the others were alerted to the sound of rumbling on the table. Turning to the source, they saw it was in fact Jaune's scroll vibrating, seemingly forgotten it was even there.

"Huh, he must've left it," Pyrrha muttered as she picked it up. Just as she did, she accidently pressed a notification pulling up the messages tab. "Oops, wrong button!" She was about to turn off the device until her eye caught the most recent set of messages.

Feeling her curiosity get the best of her, she soon read the first one.

And immediately found herself extremely upset.

"What the hell is this?!" She exclaimed rather loudly, spooking the others getting a fair amount of attention from the other people around them.

"Yo, P-money! What's got you in such a huff?" Yang question as the redhead turned with fury.

The others were caught off guard by the look, mostly because it was rare for them to see the spartan girl lose her cool like this. Velvet, being the kind one, asked her in worry.

"Is something wrong?"

Pyrrha gave them all a light glare a she shifted the scroll in front of them.

"I don't know, you tell me!"

There were a total of 4 messages, each from different women judging by the wording and names, but what stuck out the most was what each message was asking.

"A DATE?!"

The other girls who saw it were immediately out of their chairs and scanning the messages, each one increasing their ire even further. As this was happening, Glynda came over as well after hearing their initial outburst.

"What are you girls yelling about already?!" She asked in an exasperated tone, causing the others to turn to her, their faces bearing a look of absolute anger, jealousy, and minor depression. It was certainly not what she had been expecting, nor was what she was shown next.

"Oh, nothing much, just our hearts feel like their being played like a damn fiddle!" Nora, of all people, exclaimed as she took the scroll and presented it to Glynda, who was a bit startled until she began to read.

For the first few seconds, she looked confused, until a few seconds later her face had turned a vibrant red from pure outrage. In her mind she was both upset and feeling more than a little jealous, though any rational thought was more than thrown out at this point, as it was clear as day what she wanted to do next.

"Children, if you will excuse me," She said in an even but agitated tone, "I need to go and question a certain student of mine!"

"You're not the only one, teach!" Yang said as her and the others sat up leaving the scroll behind as they now had a mission in mind.

As the girls soon left the mess hall, Ren and Sun looked at each other in sheer confusion and worry. "Why do I get a feeling something bad is about to happen?" Sun said as Ren quickly reached across the table and grabbed Jaune's scroll, pulling up the recent messages only for his skin to go pure white.

"Uh...Ren?" Sun asked in unease, only for the young man to grab his shoulders and give him a look of terror and fear.

"We have to get to Jaune, NOW!"

With that, Ren bolted upward and ran for the doors with Sun following behind, wondering just what the hell Jaune had done.

As they left, Fox raised an eyebrow as he 'stared' off in their direction, "What was that about?"

Yatsuhashi, despite his wisdom, merely shrugged in confusion.

"I'm not too sure, my friend. Not too sure at all…"

"Should we go after them?"

"I don't think so."

With that, the two returned to their breakfast in peace.

~Back at the Dorm~

Jaune was currently relaxing on his bed, fumbling about with Crocea Mors. There was always something with the sword that he couldn't help but-

*Knock!* *Knock!* *Knock!*

Jaune stopped his musings and turned to the door in confusion. Rising from his bed, he walked towards it before gripping the handle and pulling it open.

"Hell-OOPH!" Jaune exclaimed as he was soon shoved aside, falling to the ground as he looked to see Ren and Sun rushing in and closing the door frantically before Ren turned to him with a serious and fearful expression.

"Jaune, I thought you said you'd be more careful!" He said as he pulled jaune up by his shirt, almost shaking him.

"Ren, what's going on? And what did I do?!" Jaune questioned, looking immensely confused.

"What you did-" Sun said as he appeared next to him from out of nowhere, "-was that you basically screwed the pooch and caused the others to go apeshit!"

"Others? What do you mean?" Jaune asked as he looked between the two.

"Jaune," Ren started as he stared at the young man, "I want an honest answer: Did you meet anyone in particular while you were at Vale?"

"Anyone in particular?" Jaune said as he took a moment to think, "Well, I met up with a few of my old friends from several years ago, I met up with Ruby's friend Penny, I helped a nice girl who was being messed with by a couple of thugs, and I helped another girl get back something her friend lost," Jaune finished as he recounted the past week.

Ren, however, didn't look fully pleased with that answer.

"And? Did you anything with any of them? At all?" He was really hoping nothing serious had happened, because for his friend and leaders' sake, it might not end well with what's coming.

"Um, nothing really. I mostly hung out with them, had lunch, and or just talked with them. Why?" Jaune finally asked as he was starting to really worry about his friend's strange behavior.

"This, is why!" Sun said as he then handed Jaune his scroll, with the most recent messages pulled up.

As Jaune checked and read them, his face went from mild confusion and curiosity to immediate shock as a rather large blush began to form on his face. It was then that time felt like it had stopped all around him as he his mind soon realized something rather crucial.

He had been asked to go on a date. On multiple dates, by multiple people. And the messages had all come at the same time in one place.

The mess hall.

Where the other girls were at.

As in the same ones who've had an interest in him for some time now.

Reality soon came back as colour faded from his body, his eyes dilating as he began to sweat profusely as the true horror of the situation finally dawned on him.

With a small but fearful stutter, he asked the most obvious question.

"R-Ren, how many of them read these?"

With a mournful look, Ren answered.

"All of them. Team RWBY, Pyrrha, Nora, even Velvet, Coco and Ms. Goodwitch looked rather pissed."

As he said those words, Ren felt bad as he saw his friend tense up and start to shiver immensely, the full realization hitting him all at once.

"Oh Oum...what do I do? WHAT THE HELL DO I DO?" Jaune practically screamed out before a hand clamped over his mouth tightly, belonging to Sun who looked annoyed but very much so afraid.

"Jaune, shut up! If you get too loud, they'll realize your still in the dorm!" He warned as the young Arc nodded his head until Sun removed his hand.

"Sorry. But what do we do? You've seen what they're capable of! What am I going to do?" Jaune was honestly not sure what TO do, apologizing was at the top of the list but there were too many problems with trying that, and the biggest one was that the girls were beyond angry. Meaning all critical and honest thought had been drop kicked into an Ursa pit with a ring of sausages around its neck. Except of course those Ursa had dangerous weapons and aura, he was the sausages, and would honestly get slaughtered if he attempted that. Would it work if they were less angry? Maybe, probably, but at this moment, it would be safer for him to not attempt such a thing.

Ren gave him a serious look, "Well first, we need to get out of here. The best thing we can do is try to evade them long enough for them to calm down. After that? I'm not too sure."

"Well then, let's get out of here you two!" Sun motioned as he went for the door, "If we head to the school, we might be able to hide out in the any of the classrooms."

"Right, come on Jaune, let's go!" Ren said he moved for the door, the leader following behind him as they then made their way out into the hall, only to stop as the lights to their room and the rest of the hall suddenly went out.

"What just happened?!" Jaune silently panicked before Ren shushed him, taking a brief moment to listen closely until he heard a slight sound at the end of the hall. In one swift motion the three turned to see a strange orange light start to grow brighter as it began to round the corner.

Ren's eyes widened. "Quick, this way!" The three then turned and ran down the opposite end of the hallway, not noticing the orange glow soon gained a shape in the form of being of fire, with red eyes glowing with malice.

As the three continued to run down the corridor, Jaune and Ren were trying to think on an escape plan.

"Once we're out of the dorms, where do we go from there?" Jaune asked as they made another turn.

"We can try and hide out in Professor Port's room, maybe hide out in an empty grimm cage!" Ren said as the three made it to the stairs, quietly descending as they tried not to fall.

"Alright, but what about-oof!" Jaune started until he bumped into Ren's back, confused as to why he had stopped until he saw down the hall.

Down the hallway, standing in front of a set of double doors with the light only making her appear even more terrifying, stood Blake. Jaune could tell she was beyond upset, especially with how she was glaring solely at him.

Just as they were gonna turn left to run, they froze in their tracks as at the end of that hallway was Yang, her hair burning bright as her semblance flared, her now red eyes glaring at the trio, practically daring them to try something.

The three didn't move for a few seconds, until Sun screamed "RIGHT!"

Immediately, Jaune and the other two turned on a heel and ran down the other hallway with such speeds that surprised even them. Fear always seems to get the adrenaline going, doesn't it?

However, they realized that there wasn't an exit where they were going. Instead, it was another flight of stairs going back up to the level they were just on.

"Dammit, just go up again!" Sun said he grabbed the other two, keeping them with him as he knew they couldn't afford to lag behind. Not with those two hot on their trails.

Soon the three were running up the stairs, doing their damndest to not fall, as they soon were on the upper level once again.

"Oh hell, where to now?" Sun cursed as he looked around.

Jaune thought for a second, "Wait the roof! Hurry, down the hall!"

As the three ran once more, Blake soon appeared from the stairs along with an equally pissed off Yang. Glaring at their fleeting forms, Yang turned to Blake and gave a silent nod. Understanding what she meant, Blake unfurled the ribbon from her weapon and took aim.

"Keep going, they're ganging on us!" Ren exclaimed with a look of terror on his face.

No sooner did he say that did Jaune's mind soon realized something. Something rather peculiar.

'Wait, this just like that dream I had last week!' The dark hallway, them running, what Ren just said, it's exactly what had happened in it!

Which means…!

"Don't stop, we just need to get to the-Ahhhhhh!" Turning to the side, Jaune was horrified to see Sun tripping before being violently dragged back towards Blake and Yang.

"Sun, NO!" Jaune yelled as he was about to turn to help his friend, only to stop as Sun yelled at him.

"No, keep going! You need to get out of here! Save yourselves!" He echoed off as he was dragged further and further away.

Jaune hesitated for a second, only for Ren to grab and shake him.

"It's too late, Jaune! We need to keep going!"

Seeing his friend's point, he gave a final look before running once again, giving a silent prayer to the monkey faunus.

As the two kept running, they were soon relieved to see the door to the roof. Reaching it, Jaune made a grab for the handle, only to frown when it didn't turn at all.

It was then that the horror set in.

"It's locked!" Jaune cried out as he kept jumbling the handle, the growing fear between the two rising astronomically. They were trapped, and death was about to be upon them.

"Oh come on! Who'd lock it now of all times?!" Ren exclaimed as he and Jaune continued to pull, trying with all their might.

"Nice try boys!" The two tensed as they turned around, seeing the two girls with a somewhat malicious grin on their faces. "Now Ren, be nice and hand him over. Me and the others want to have a proper 'chat' with Jaune," Blake said as they moved closer to them.

Jaune and Ren shook with fear. There was nowhere left to go and they were pinned. Jaune for a brief second thought he should try to apologize, but he feared he wouldn't get away unscathed.

So in that mere moment, he made a silent prayer.

'Whoever's out there, whoever can hear me, please! HELP US!'

And for the first time in his life, rather than turn a blind eye or rub salt in the wound, Fate decided to finally play nice.

Just as the girls got close, a door to Jaune's right opened up and illuminated the hallway, only for a massive mace to appear and smash Blake and Yang several feet away.

"What the hell?!" Jaune and Ren said simultaneously before they were soon pulled into the light by a pair of hands before the door closed behind them.

It was silent in the hallway for a few seconds, until a yell came from Yang.

"What the fuck was that?!"

In the room Jaune and Ren were dragged into, the two were confused for a second until a voice spoke up from behind them.

"You idiots alright?"

Turning, the two grinned, "Cardin!" Indeed, it was the leader of CRDL himself sporting a smirk as his teammates were busy blocking the door with a dresser and a bed.

The two got up with a sigh of relief, though they were more than a little confused. "But...why did you do that? I'm not upset obviously, but I won't deny that I'm a little bewildered."

"Well that's easy," Cardin said with a short sigh, "You saved my ass, and for that I owed you one. You could kinda consider this as repayment."

"Oh…" Jaune said with a heavy amount of surprise etched on his face. It certainly wasn't what he was expecting, but who was he to argue?

The silence was soon cut when a knock came from the door, prompting everyone to turn to it.

"Hey, sorry to say this, but you guys are kinda blocking the door," Yang said outside with a heavy amount of irritation laced through her voice, "And you're also keeping us from getting to Jaune, so if you could just kindly open the door so I don't have to break your necks, that'd be great!"

The boys were silent for a moment till Cardin turned to Jaune and Ren with a deadpan expression.

"Window. Now."

The two didn't argue as they quickly lifted the window open and started climbing out before Jaune turned to team CRDL.

"What about you guys?"

"We'll hold them here, just go!" Russel said after busting out his daggers and assuming a position just a bit from the door.

"Okay, I guess I have to start this with a Yang!"

The others cringed at the pun before watching the door bend slightly as a resounding punch smashed into it.

Jaune stared blankly for a second, before immediately climbing down, just as Cardin shut and locked the window. As he turned and looked to the door with a grim face, he grabbed his mace and joined his teammates. As they stood shoulder to shoulder, the bed and dresser were soon pushed aside as the door bent further in.

Sky couldn't help but turn to Cardin with a look of concern.

"This is gonna hurt a lot, isn't it?"

Cardin said nothing, but merely nodded as the door finally broke down and collapsed to the floor, with Yang and Blake stepping in, though Blake looked a little off put more than anything.

"Did you REALLY need to break the door down?"

Yang said nothing as she just stared at the boys in front of her, a look of clear displeasure on her face.

"You could've just handed him over, you know? Nothing would've happened to ya, we could've left and that would have been that."

The guys almost looked flustered, not really expecting to be talked down like they had done something wrong, though by Yang's standards they did. Nonetheless, Cardin didn't back away.

"Eh, Whatever, I just owed him one and decided to help out. Besides, ain't got anything else going on today."

Yang gave a feral smirk.

"Well then, I guess I'll have to take my frustration out on you then."

CRDL paused and shared a look between each other, then looked back to them, and just before they started laughing they realized something.

They've got a pissed off Xiao Long and her equally annoyed partner staring them down, the same two who could easily rush through a herd of grimm, and one of them can basically go super saiyan.

Russel gave Cardin a dull stare. "We're fucked, aren't we?"

"Yep."

"Oh dear…" Russel said as the two girls then closed in.

~Outside~

As Jaune and Ren got some ways away, the blond couldn't help but ask.

"You think they're alright?"

Just as Ren was about to answer, there sprint was interrupted by a brief but shrill scream in the distance.

"IYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

As the two turned, Jaune winced in pity.

"Guess not."

"Wow, and somehow that scream was even girlier than yours," Ren said as he turned back to run.

"Yeah-Oh screw you!" Jaune exclaimed incredulously, before slacking as he just gave up and ran to catch up with his friend.

After catching up, Jaune and Ren were finally at the front of the main building, a sense of euphoria filled Jaune as he moved to enter. Or at least, he was about to until a voice spoke up behind them both.

"And just where do you think YOUR going, Mr. Arc?!" The two boys froze, as dread soon came crawling back as they turned around slowly, only to be met by a pair of soul piercing green eyes.

And unfortunately, or fortunately? They weren't Pyrrha's.

Standing a few feet behind them was Glynda, her riding crop gripped in her right hand and a scowl stretched across her face.

Ren was concerned, but poor Jaune was visibly sweating as he straightened up, hoping to try and ease the situation before it went bad.

"H-Hey Glynda, how are you today?" Jaune asked, silently wondering why the hell he asked such a dumb question. She was pissed!

"Oh, it was quite well honestly, until not too long ago I was shown something quite...vexing," She said, her expression darkening a bit as Jaune bit back a whimper.

"And uh, what would that be?"

"Nothing," Jaune sighed in relief, "Except that one of my students was messing around with other girls in secret!" And he choked on air.

"W-What?! I never did such a thing!"

"Oh really? And you just so happen to have been out all week for various reasons, what was that about, hm?" She questioned, leveling a glare on him as he backed up a bit.

Normally she'd be much more composed than this, but between dealing with some strange feelings and learning that her former charge had been talking with a fair deal of other women, her heart was in quite an emotional conundrum. For a woman who had dealt with a great deal of issues in the past, she had an absolute lack of experience when it came to romance.

"Look Ms. Goodwitch, I promise you this is all a misunderstanding, okay? Just let us go, and I'll explain everything after the others have calmed down." He was sincerely hoping she'd listen to him on this, it was bad enough the others were upset with him, it would be worse if she decided to join in on this!

"A misunderstanding, huh?" Glynda said as she crossed her arms, giving Jaune the slightest bit of hope in his heart.

"Well, if that's the case then you can tell the others all about it!" She exclaimed with an overly enthusiastic smile, crushing the hope Jaune had and instead filling him with greater dread.

"Um, wouldn't it be better to wait?" Jaune asked as he backed up a bit, Ren getting the same idea as he did so as well.

"Oh Jaune, unfortunately, I have little patience to wait."

Jaune and Ren looked between each other as they thought on their options. Because in all honesty, it was either fight, run, or death. Well, it was for Jaune, but even Ren thought that'd be a dick move on his part to straight up abandon him.

And if Nora was as pissed as the others...even the Gods would not be on Jaune's side.

Just before she could reach them, a faint cry echoed from above.

"HO!"

"Huh?" The three uttered in confusion as a figure of immense proportions sailed through the air before landing between them, a light gust surrounding its robust frame. As the massive figure rose to full height, and the others couldn't help but gape in...utter confusion in all honesty.

"Port/Professor?" They asked as the man himself, looking proud at his landing, merely putting his hands on his hips as he gave a brief but hearty laugh.

"Haha! Indeed it is I, my dear students, for I have come to your aid!"

'Oh god!' Both Ren and Jaune thought as Glynda shook off her stupor before leveling a hard stare at Port, who seemed positively oblivious to it.

"Peter, what are you on about?"

"Why Ms. Goodwitch, that is simple! Our dear Headmaster merely wished to have these young men escorted to his office for their safety. And I, the amazing Professor Port, volunteered to get them there." Glynda would've retorted, but the moment he mentioned Ozpin she became immediately suspicious.

"Oh really, and why is that?" She questioned the man, giving him a cold stare as she crossed her arms, but again Port was oblivious to it.

"That is of no concern, Glynda. He merely wishes to help the boy out!" Port said, not noticing that Jaune and Ren were backing up to the door.

"Oh, really? Why do I find that so hard to believe?"

What Port said next, however, nearly made Jaune choke in horror.

"Honestly Glynda, you should really learn to chill you mammaries!"

Glynda blinked in confusion, oblivious to the look of shock on Jaune's face as the boy soon started shoving Ren to the door.

"What?"

"Oh, you know, ease your bosom!"

By this point, Ren had finally caught on and had hurried through the door as Jaune quickly followed, not at all wanting to see the shitstorm that was about to start.

"Port, are you trying to say…" She said as a slight hint of steel entered her voice, almost daring the man to say the phrase properly.

And unfortunately for him, ignorance was bliss, that would soon lead to pain.

"Oh, how do young people say it nowadays...Aha! Glynda, you should really calm your tits!"

The air was silent, and Glynda's hair covered her. In a swift motion, she took off her glasses and pocketed them, put her riding crop away, before leveling a glare that promised years of agony and suffering at the man. And Port?

He was none the wiser to what he had done.

~Inside the building~

'Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!' Jaune and Ren thought as they ran down the halls, not at all bothering nor caring about the fate of the portly teacher. At that point, he was dead to them and they shouldn't consider going back for him.

Making it down a few corridors, they finally saw the elevator and sprinted for the door. Upon reaching it, the two pressed the button a few times to get it to start before it started coming down.

Taking a moment, the two caught their breath as they were somewhat exhausted from all the running. Taking a moment Ren turned to Jaune and asked a dumb but simple question.

"On a scale of 1 to 10, how screwed is Port?"

"100."

"That's not what I said."

"Then you get the situation."

Ren didn't reply, merely opting to bring his hands together for a silent prayer that the man's fate wouldn't be too painful.

At that moment, he could've sworn he heard someone laugh maniacally at his plea.

Before long, the elevator arrived and the two stepped in, ascending to Ozpin's office to the sound of light jazz. As soon as the two reached the top, the door opened and they proceeded into Ozpin's office, where the man himself was messing around on a tablet.

After the door closed behind them, Ozpin turned to them and frowned before setting the tablet down, giving them his full attention.

"Well, I would normally say 'It's nice to see you two', but given the circumstances I really can't say that for one of you." Jaune couldn't help but look down in shame.

"I can only ask one thing and that's just...what happened?!"

Jaune looked embarrassed but answered honestly.

"Well, I kind of, maybe, sorta...got asked to go on multiple dates all at once today!" He rushed out the last part, but Ozpin merely stared before closing his eyes and pinching his nose. Struggling real hard not to sigh.

"How the hell did that happen?"

"Honestly, you got me!" Jaune said as waved his arms out before sitting in one of the vacant seats. Today was so exhausting.

"I'll say. It was bad enough that you had already gotten the attention of multiple girls, but now they're mad on jealousy and clearly not thinking rationally! And of course, this had to happen on TODAY of all days!" Ozpin said in exasperation.

Speaking of that, Jaune looked to Ozpin in curiosity. "Now that you mention it, has anything popped up yet?"

At this, Ozpin turned grim. "No, nothing. They haven't moved yet, in fact they've been still since this morning!" The two students looked confused about this as they walked forward to check the tablet, seeing the four little lights not moving.

"Why haven't they moved in yet? They didn't forget, did they?" Jaune questioned as he looked at the other two, a sign of uncertainty stretching across their faces.

"I don't know, seems like it would be a waste to scare him then not do anything at all." Ren said as he brought up to his chin. The opportunity to strike is well within their grasp, so what was stopping them?

In that moment, Ozpin's scroll began to ring, scaring the others. Ozpin looked at it and grew worried, momentarily setting the tablet down. Looking to the other two, who merely shrugged and motioned him to answer it, he slowly opened it to check who it was.

Upon seeing the caller id, however, Ozpin sighed in relief and answered it on speaker.

"Afternoon, Ms. Peach!" At that, Jaune and Ren sighed in relief.

"Afternoon sir, are you busy right now?" Upon hearing her voice, however, Jaune blanched as he could've sworn she sounded familiar.

"Not at all, how may I help you?"

"It's nothing too serious sir, I just need to ask you to do me a quick favor. Do you happen to recall when I applied for the job?"

Ozpin raised an eyebrow. That was a peculiar question.

"Yes? You started working here quite a few years ago, though your resume had quite a few gaps in it, we were able to easily get you into the system."

"Right. Well, there is something that you should know sir…"

The three men were suddenly on alert, an odd sense of dread building up.

"Oh, and what would that…" *Beep!* "...m-mean?" Ozpin stuttered as he heard the sound of something happening on his tablet, prompting him and the others to check it.

Only for fear to engulf their beings.

Quickly nearing Beacon, were four little lights moving at high speed.

"Do you perchance KNOW my first name, Sir~?"

Ozpin shook a bit, frightened by that one question as it had many implications, but only one worried him the most.

"N-No?"

"Hmm, a shame, but I suppose since we'll be there soon, I'll just tell you."

By that point, the three boys were pale as sudden realization came forth, mostly from Ozpin and Jaune as they realized who she was.

"My name is Edna, Edna Peach. And were coming for you, Ozzie~!"

To be Continued…

(AAAAAAAHHHHHH! IT'S DONE!)

(Seriously, after so damn long, it feels so good to finally have this done! After so much BS with changing certain parts, not saving certain things and just in general having to deal with an excessive amount of stuff getting in the way, it feels so refreshing to actually complete a chapter!)

(Now as you may have guess, this chapter is part 1, of maybe 2 or 3, I don't know! But nonetheless, this has been eating away at me and causing me unneeded stress, which has screwed with me for two long. Thankfully, with it done, the next chapter hopefully won't take around two or more years, seriously that is my bad and I really regret that. I had hoped on certain days to finish it in one go, but it doesn't last long!)

(With that said, with an honest heart, thank you guys for waiting. I don't know why you bother with this story to such a degree, despite all the praise many of you have given it. I sincerely can't begin to tell you how much it means to know people appreciate a story like this, especially when there are SO many better writers out there!)

(But, aside from all that, I hope you enjoyed! Again, I promise to try and get better at this!)

(Nonetheless, thank you for reading! Ja Ne~!)
