2I am so sorry this has taken so long to get out, i hate writers block and i have been so busy with work and uni but heres the next chapter
Yuu blinked as he looked down at the array of cakes that sat before him across the table. "I did a few different ones, try them all and the one you like the best I will make for you" said Dolton as Yuu nodded. It felt more real now that he and Kai were soon going to be getting married. Kai had left him to choose the cake, he didn't mind what cake it was. Kai had left him to do most of the little things, Kai didn't care about the superficial little things. All he cared about was that they would be married and so he left Yuu to making all the decisions.
Dolton left him alone as he ate a piece of the first cake. As he went to eat a piece of the next cake, a hand fell on his shoulder. Yuu looked up as Ryura smiled down at him. Yuu smiled in return and watched as the elder sat down next to him. "What are you doing?" asked Ryura looking over the colourful cakes on the table.
"Am deciding which cake to have for the wedding, it's very hard. All of them taste so good" replied Yuu looking at the variety of cakes. Ryura chuckled at the look on the youngers face and then looked around the room.
"Is Kai not joining you to help?" asked Ryura and Yuu shook his head.
"Kai's in work" said Yuu softly making Ryura raise a brow. He ran his hand across his cheek and smiled at him making Yuu smile in response.
"They look really cosy" said Bankotsu watching his mate and Yuu talk. Kaleb looked up at him and then the two. He raised a brow and smirked at Bankotsu.
"What's wrong jealous" laughed Kaleb making Bankotsu glare at him. This made Kaleb laugh even more.
"I am not jealous" hissed Bankotsu and Kaleb rolled his eyes.
"I get it, I would be jealous too if my mate used to want someone else while I weren't there" said Kaleb shrugging. Bankotsu tensed up and looked down at Kaleb.
"What are you talking about?" asked Bankotsu not liking what he had just heard.
Kaleb blinked and looked up at the human. "Did Ryura not tell you?" he asked and Bankotsu glared at him. "Oh, shit. Look it's not that bad, they have a strong bond and Ryura just wanted to protect him. He kind of helped Yuu and Kai finally mate, well they didn't have much of a choice he only gave them a month to mate otherwise he would"
Kaleb trailed off realising he should have just shut up. Bankotsu was furious and Kaleb gulped. He watched as Bankotsu marched over to the two and Kaleb swore, knowing he was the cause of this when he should have just kept his trap shut. "What's wrong with your face" said Hiten glaring down at him.
"I may have just added fuel to the fire by accident" replied Kaleb making Hiten raise a brow and looked where Kaleb was looking.
Ryura and Yuu looked up as Bankotsu reached them. "Can we talk, alone" said Bankotsu between gritted teeth. Ryura raised a brow at his pissed off mate.
"Of course, Yuu do excuse us" he said and they walked into the kitchen. Yuu blinked confused as to what had just happened. He looked up as Hiten stood next to him and shrugged.
"They smell nice" said Hiten and Yuu smiled. They both jumped at Bankotsu's raised voice, surprised. "Well someone's pissed off, I wonder why"
"That may be my fault" said Kaleb coming to stand by them.
"Why would it be your fault Kaleb-kun?" asked Yuu confused.
Kaleb looked nervous and chewed on his bottom lip. "I may have accidentally let slip that at one point Ryura had wanted Yuu" he replied and Hiten looked at Yuu shocked.
"He did what" said Hiten and Yuu blushed. He then glared at Kaleb. "You idiot"
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU, ALL THIS TIME I WAS RUNNING AND HIDING AND WANTING YOU AND YOU WERE TRYING TO REPLACE ME" shouted Bankotsu making them all flinch.
"DO NOT RAISE YOU VOICE AT ME" roared Ryura, his aura flaring. Kaleb shivered while Hiten closed his eyes.
"OR WHAT, YOU GOING TO HIT ME. GO ON THEN" screamed Bankotsu "WELL IF YOU WANT HIM SO MUCH YOU CAN HAVE HIM, AM LEAVING FUCK YOU RYURA"
"WERE THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING, WE ARE NOT FINISHED HERE" roared Ryura, a sharp cracking sound went through the room and Hiten's eyes widened.
"GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME" hissed Bankotsu.
"Shit's about to go down, Bankotsu just hit Ryura" said Hiten not liking where this was going. He blinked and looked down at Yuu who was biting his lip and playing with the hem of his shirt, trying to not let the tears fall from his eyes. "Yuu"
Yuu stood up and ran out of the restaurant, he couldn't listen to it anymore. Hiten called out after him and then glared at Kaleb. "This is all your fault you idiot" hissed Hiten before following Yuu. "Yuu stop"
Yuu stopped and Hiten sighed, not really good with talking about emotions. "Am sorry" whispered Yuu and Hiten sighed running a hand through his hair.
"You don't need to be sorry Yuu, none of this is your fault. If its anyone's fault its Ryura's" replied Hiten and Yuu looked at his, rubbing his eyes.
"How?" asked Yuu and Hiten sighed.
"Sit" he replied and Yuu nodded. They sat against a huge oak tree and Hiten looked at him. "Look Ryura is, how do I put this, he's very impulsive. You of all people should know that with Kai. Dragon demons are different to most demons, they are very possessive over things they love and like."
"Like in the stories of dragons, it's said dragons love gems and pearls and if anyone took them away the dragon would kill them for it" said Yuu and Hiten laughed.
"That is so true, it's also the same for their mates and family. Yuu your Bankotsu's reincarnation and that means you and Ryura have a strong bond, just like the one you have with Kai. It's not your fault that Ryura did what he did, you see Ryura can be very selfish and not care what happened as long as he gets what he wants at times" said Hiten and Yuu looked at him shocked. Hiten chuckled and shook his head. "I don't know why you're so shocked, you must have seen it at some point. At least that's one trait Kai didn't get from him"
"You two are really close aren't you, your like that with Bankotsu too" said Yuu softly and Hiten laughed.
"You wouldn't think that we once hated each other's guts and that Bankotsu nearly killed me once" he replied and Yuu's eyes widened. "Yeah if Ryura and Sazuku hadn't have come he would have killed me, Ryura didn't like that"
"Sazuku?" questioned Yuu confused.
"Yeah Sazuku and Ryura used to be close until we found things out about Sazuku" said Hiten softly looking at Yuu. "When I was younger my father sent me to Ryura to train and learn how to become a great leader for when I took the clan from my father. I had gotten too close to Ryura then I should have and then Bankotsu came in and Ryura started to change, I was pissed he was paying more attention to Bankotsu then me and I confronted Bankotsu and in my anger I had underestimated him. After that I thought Ryura would hate him but he didn't so I tried to let Bankotsu go"
"Go?" asked Yuu.
"Bankotsu had been found trying to kill Ryura so he captured him and locked him in the cells and I tried to let him go so I would have Ryura to myself, that's when I found out what Sazuku had been doing and Ryura caught us. Let's say that really didn't go down well with Ryura, especially after we told him about Sazuku." Said Hiten and Yuu's brow furrowed reading between the lines.
"You and Ryura" said Yuu blushing and Hiten chuckled.
"And Bankotsu yeah, I was young. Demons are a lot like humans when we are young, we experiment" he said shrugging as if it meant not much. "Anyway Ryura didn't want to believe what Sazuku had been doing and set a kind of trap and Sazuku fell for it, showing his true colours. This was around the time that we had realised what Bankotsu was to Ryura and Ryura had went to the high council. They don't really get involved in much but Ryura watched a truce with the humans and wanted Sazuku banished for what he had been doing to not only Bankotsu but to me too and they agreed. Sazuku wasn't happy but had left, then we got word that the leader of the high council, a very powerful women called Amara had gone missing. Sazuku then attacked, wanting to take Bankotsu as his own and to rule over everyone, especially the humans and you know what happened next"
"Ryura died trying to kill Sazuku" replied Yuu as Hiten nodded.
"So you see, Ryura can be quite the asshole. He had used my childish feelings for him as a way of getting what he wanted, but it doesn't mean he doesn't care." Said Hiten and Yuu nodded.
"Thank you Hiten" said Yuu smiling and Hiten rolled his eyes.
"It's fine, but this stays between us or I will kill you" he said smirking and Yuu nodded.
"Well look what we have here" said Kuro and Hiten jumped up, shielding Yuu.
"Where's Yuu?" asked Ryura looked around the room as Bankotsu glared at him. Kaleb looked between them and looked to the door as Kai came in and looked around. Asking the same question Ryura had just asked, Bankotsu sweat dropping.
"You two really are reincarnations" he said making Ryura narrow his eyes. Kai raising a brow at the tension between the two.
"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Kai, not knowing what had happened.
"He ran out, Hiten followed him" said Kaleb, Kai not liking the sound of that, he didn't trust Hiten around Yuu. Kai was about to ask why Yuu had left when the ground shook. They all looked at each other before running outside.
"Finally" said Yukimo as she pointed her weapon at them. "Attack"
Kaleb, Bankotsu and Ryura called on their weapons while Kai transformed. They where surrounded by twenty low level demons. "I have her" hissed Bankotsu and he ran for Yukimo. Ryura rolled his eyes and focused on the demons.
Hiten called on his Reikaijin and pointed it at Kuro. "Kuro you little shit" hissed Hiten glaring at him.
"Hiten" he said not really acknowledging him but looking behind him at Yuu. Hiten narrowed his eyes not liking the look Kuro was giving Yuu. Hiten scoffed and threw a bolt of lightning at Kuro, the other demon dodging. Kuro narrowed his eyes and Hiten smirked as he attacked him. They thought leaving Yuu standing there. A branch snapped, a growl coming from behind him. Yuu let his instincts take over and jumped out of the way as the demons attacked where he had just been standing.
He jumped up and transformed, pointing his Gunblade at the low level demon. He watched the demon closely to see what it would do, something Hiten had taught him. It growled and jumped at him, Yuu sliding under it, slashing at the soft skin under its chest. Before rolling into a stand. He then shot bullets at the demon, it giving a cry before turning to dust.
Yuu looked up to see Kuro smirk before disappearing. Hiten scoffed as Yuu went over to him. "He didn't even give a good fight" hissed Hiten making Yuu frown. His eyes widened and looked at Hiten.
"It was just a distraction!" exclaimed Yuu and Hiten's eyes widened.
"The others" he said and they both turned and ran back towards the restaurant.
When they got there the others where outside, Kuro and Yukimo nowhere to be seen. Kai called out Yuu and Yuu went to him, smiling up at Kai as he wrapped his arms around him. "Are you okay?" he asked and Yuu nodded.
"Yuu!" said Bankotsu and Yuu looked up as he stood in front of the two. "Am sorry about before, I overreacted and it had nothing to do with you. I didn't mean to upset you"
"It's okay Bankotsu-kun, Hiten explained a lot" he said smiling. Bankotsu's brows furrowed and then he laughed, realising what Yuu was talking about.
"Okay" laughed Bankotsu. Kai confused as to what they were talking about. There was a sudden light and they all shielded their eyes. Yuu let out a cry as arms wrapped around him and he was lifted into the air. Kai shouted his name and they all looked up as the light disappeared to see Kuro with his arms around Yuu.
"Get your hands off my mate" hissed Kai, his eyes glowing bright red.
Kuro chuckled and glared down at them all. "If we can't take Bankotsu then we will take the next best thing. If you want your little mate back then you know what Sazuku wants" he said and then disappeared with Yuu.
