The next morning Raven had awakened. If it weren't for the sunlight penetrating the blinds, she probably would have been asleep. She yawned as she looked around the room, finding herself on Jason's bed. She knew she couldn't go anywhere since, her ex leader closed all possible doors for her. She was pretty damn sure that Robin had also canceled all her available credit cards she possessed.
She needed a place to go and start over, but now things seemed to be more difficult. Perhaps Jason could help her, by letting her stay here until she is stable to be on her own. Raven locate a letter that was on the table that had her name written on it, for her to read.
Raven,
I didn't want to wake you up, since you seemed relaxed and peacefully sleeping. I also didn't want to risk being thrown to the wall by your powers, and you claiming I was a pervert. But anyways, I had business to attend, and I don't have an idea on how long it would take. But feel free to stay as long as you need, you can also bring your stuff to my apartment if you like. Well, I hope to be back soon.
-Jason.
Maybe he did want her to stay… But what business did he have to attend? Oh that's right. He was a professional thieve after all. But didn't he think that the purple empath could stop him? Oh that's right, she wasn't a hero anymore. Which meant that she didn't have to do what's right anymore.
No more villain stopping, or morning training. Not even lectures from Robin. Raven grinned at her thoughts. Maybe she did make a good choice after all. She stood up and began to clean the room, after all it was going to be her apartment too.
But it did make her debate about her situation. What was her relationship with Jason anyways?
Friends with benefits?
Were they even friends?
Perhaps when he returns they can set some boundaries.
Too much thinking made Raven unstable. She rather not think about this things until she had to face them. After she finished she left to go pick up all her belongings back in the tower.
As she made it to her room without being detected by anyone. She found her room untouched. Though a letter was displayed on her bed. She began to read it, and it was from Cyborg. Everything she had suspected happened, Robin indeed had cancelled her credit cards.
Yet Cyborg had thought this was unfair and he made her one that she could use. But only had a certain amount for her to use. It was money from him, the one he was saving for his own purposes. He mention that she didn't have to worry about paying back.
Raven smiled at the kind act her big brother had done for her. After she finished packing she threw in some spell books just in case she needed them. She looked at the room that once belonged to her then she teleported out.
She was now back at Jason's place. She decided it was best not to unpack yet, because she wanted to talk to Jason first and sort things out. But she did notice that she needed to buy civilian cloth. Since she couldn't be walking around in her leotard all day especially when she was with Jason.
Wait what did that even mean?
Would she even consider buying something sexy to impress him?
A blush appeared on Ravens face. She shook the thought away and got ready to shower, because she was going to go shopping. As she prepared her clothing she entered the shower.
As random thoughts crossed her mind, like how many girls showered in Jason's apartment. Or how many women slept in his bed already? Thoughts like this made her blood boiled and her heart tighten. She decided it was best not to think too deep.
She knew she wasn't the only one that ended up in Jason's bed. Especially since she was drunk, but she wonder if she weren't in the influence of alcohol would she have changed anything if she was in control?
She wanted to forget the changeling, even if she ended up in the enemy's bed that's for sure.
Yet Jason did show her many unforgivable experiences in bed. Not even the changeling manage to do that. She knew it was just lust that night, not love. It was rather disappointing, because she betted with herself that the changeling would be her first.
She wanted him to be, she thought she loved him and he loved her.
But unfortunately she was wrong, and he never felt the same way for her. Raven did wonder if Jason would ever feel the same for her, or if their friendship would ever blossom for something more.
But what about Red X?
Even though they are the same person, they both have distinctive personalities. Would they both ever come to an agreement to love her the same?
Raven let a chuckle out, she found it incredibly stupid of her to be thinking of such things.
No one could ever love her.
As she turn off the shower, and began to change.
She changed herself into some black leggings, and a navy blue hoodie with a black tank top and her dark blue boots. After she changed she looked at her reflection from the large mirror displayed on top of the counter.
She looked at her reflection, she then saw a girl who no longer hold a dull face. But a sad lonely girl who has been crushed and beaten down mentally and emotionally. She looked paler than usual, her eyes seemed to be tired as if they were screaming for sleep. She looked like she needed someone to take care of her.
She needed someone to love her. But who would ever love a demon girl like her?
She took a deep breath, she had enough thinking about all the negatives in her life so she decided to leave to go to the mall.
She had some trouble locating the mall, since Jason's place seemed to be located in a private alley. But she somehow managed, she was now trying to get to places by pushing through the endless crowd.
She was getting nauseous by people strong emotions, she knew she wanted nothing more than to finishes hooping already.
It seemed like hours Raven spent shopping, trying on cloth and looking for them. She definitely required Starfires inputs now, since she didn't really know what cloths to shop for. She really hated shopping. Too bad Starfire wasn't there.
As Raven finished paying for everything, and going into almost every store she decided to leave since she was done.
Raven walked into the parking lot finding a good place to teleport herself to Jason apartment. She knew it was the best choice she had. Because she couldn't possibly ride a taxi, without people getting suspicious. She knew that Robin probably was already locating her, just to keep tabs on her.
It was extremely exhausting for her having to teleport long distances. But she was grateful that she was finally back. It was helpful that Jason did live in a wealthy neighborhood, because the possibilities of someone recognizing her were unlikely.
She looked around Jason's apartment, his place was pretty neat. Since the first time she was here, she was drunk and she didn't have all the senses to look around. She set her things down on his room and began to explore around.
The living room was huge, a leather couch was set horizontal from the plasma tv. A fire place was displayed, and it already had fresh wood in it. There was a wall that separated the living room and the kitchen. It was beautiful and well organized. Before the wall there was a pair of doors that had red ruby colored curtains with strange designs that covered the glass doors. Raven walked and pushed them to the sides revealing the sunlight from the outside.
She then opened the glass doors, and refreshing air came in. It was incredibly beautiful as the view impacted one's eyes. She found herself now standing in a balcony where she could walk and sit or perhaps meditate. She looked down admiring the beautiful garden and other buildings in front of this apartment. She was probably on the 7th floor, because they were pretty much close to the roofs.
She sat down and meditated trying to regain her energy back. She was tired after all.
