So... I'm a bit behind. This is my 25 Days post #2. There may or may not be a third Christmas prompt for these two.
I have been a very good girl this year. I haven't laughed at that foreign girl Eisley even when my friends did, and I ate all of my yucky vegetables even when I wanted to throw them away like my little brother. While I am talking about him, can I have a wish? Daddy said that you grant good girls a Christmas wish. Can you please return my brother to where he came from? Mama and Daddy think I will like him better one day, but I never wanted him in the first place! Can I get a doll instead? One of the really big ones like Inoue Momoe has? She won't let me and Chizuru-chan play with hers. If I can't get the doll, that's okay. If you get me a cookie store, me and Chizuru will still be very happy!
Thank you for last year's doll. She was so pretty that I named her Emi-chan. Inoue Momoe's doll was not as good as mine, and Emi-chan's hair was prettier too! It was too bad that my little brother is still here. He stole my crayons and drew all over her face, so she isn't very pretty anymore. Maybe you talked to Mama and Daddy and they decided I needed to get used to him first? Well, I'm used to him and I still don't like him. He's even worse than he was as a baby! Can you take him back now? I'm sure you can find something for him to do at the North Pole? Maybe the elves can raise him? He's small enough. In exchange, can I get a Sailor Moon tape? I really loved the movie, and Sailor Neptune is my favorite! I'm almost big enough to read the manga by myself too!
Motomiya Akira woke up early in the morning on Christmas Day to start breakfast. Being the mother of a rambunctious three-year-old and an even more precocious eight-year-old, she was rather surprised that she was awake before either one of her children. That was, until she found her youngest child curled up asleep inside of a cardboard box marked RETURN TO SANTA.
Here. I don't want anything else, just get rid of the kid.
She signed, wondering just how much longer Jun would use Santa Claus to get rid of her apparently unwanted brother. Akira decided that she would finally stop ignoring it and fix the situation now.
While I appreciate the many offers, I can not accept your little brother, Daisuke. Not only are your parents fond of him, but he is also very attached to his big sister. And while the elves might like him, I think your little brother will be afraid of the reindeer. I also suspect that you might miss him more than you think.
So from now on, take good care of your brother as he is one of the best gifts I can give you.
Jun read over the letter her mother gave her from Santa. It was wrapped in pretty paper and sitting at her usual place at the breakfast table, across from the dumb little brother who was still here. The pretty paper almost made Jun feel better. Almost. She huffed, glaring at the dumb baby eating his breakfast with his bare hands instead of a fork like a normal, intelligent person. It wasn't fair!
