Yeva Pov

I really had thought that it was the first time one of my visions had been wrong. My grandson had always told us everything as long as it wouldn't burden us. But even thought seeing a beautiful and passionate woman in his live he had never said a word to us about her. But from the moment she called I knew that Rose was the woman from my visions. She was the right woman for my Dimka.

When Dimka came back into the room I could see his flushed cheeks and knew exactly that it wasn't just from the cold. Even without my visions it would've been impossible for me not to know. With a knowing smile plastered on my face I knew what my task would be. There was no chance that these both weren't ending up together. He looked over to me but broke eye contact soon after. I think it was because I still had that knowing smile plastered on my face and knowing that I knew made him feel guilty, which was fine by me. He should feel guilty for not telling his family that he finally found love. He went to his sisters and mother not even sparring a glance at Natasha who desperately tried to get his attention since this celebration started. I liked Tasha. Just as a friend to the family thought. She wasn't the right woman for him so I was glad that he didn't try to make a relationship between them work out. It would've been typical for my stubborn grandson.

The door opened again and Roza came in. As if on cue Dimka's head popped up. Wrapped up in their own little world they smiled at each other with a soft smile that just lovers could share. I felt a smile tugging at my lips again at the happiness my Dimka found. From the corner of my eye I also saw my daughter and my three granddaughters watch those two with the same smile on their faces. How I said, you had to be blind not to see. It was a relief to us to see him happy. Over the years we had worried a lot about him. It started when he had punched his father and he would lose his control more often but soon he had grown up and learned his control. When he had been send out in the wide, gruesome world we knew we had to fear to lose him but we had lost him in a very different way. Till that point he still had been more carefree, even thought still very aware of his duty. Losing Ivan had changed him thought. He blamed himself and no one could talk him out of it. I believe Rose could talk it out of him. I believe Rose made him more alive again.

Rose went over to the corner my family sat and sat down between Olena and Viktoria, immediately starting a conversation with little Vika.

''Princess Vasilisa! Could you come over here for a minute?'', I asked from the old chair I sat in.

She looked surprised for a second but stood up from where she sat and came over to me with a genuine smile on her face. ''What can I do for you, Mrs. Belikova?''

''I need your help in a certain matter. I think for a real Christmas celebration you need music. Music and dancing. I'm sure you'd like to dance with you Ozera boy. You could also help out those two'', I said pointing to Rose and Dimitri, ''to get it together.'' ''Uhm, I'm not sure what you're meaning. I mean it was a very great and generous present of Rose to bring you all here but it wasn't with any romantic intentions. With other words I think it would be very awkward for Rose and most likely also for Dimitri to dance with each other.'' I chuckled at her retort. ''Oh, darling. You seem so wise for your age. And you are, but yet, you don't watch enough. You won't get wiser through talking but through observing. You might not have noticed yet but I have. I've been observing for a while now but it was obvious from the first second on. Do you really think Rose would've done something so great and generous for a teacher of hers?'' She looked thoughtful, probably thinking about moments she had seen Rose and Dimitri interacting with each other. Finally she seemed to realize that the truth of my words had been right in front of her eyes all that time. ''But I thought Dimitri and Tasha...'', ''Tasha is in love with him, but he isn't. If Dimka would've been in love with her, he would've already said yes to her offer.''

''So, how do you think I should get them to dance?'' Vasilisa asked, believing my words. ''You just put on music and dance with Christian. I'll do the rest.'' I rose from my chair and went over to my family.

I heard the music being put on and saw from the corner of my eye how Vaslilsa and Christian started to dance. ''Paul,'', when I started to speak the whole family, including Rose looked up to me. ''Haven't you said earlier that Roza is a very pretty girl?'' Paul being the innocent child he was answered me immediately. ''Of course! Roza is a very pretty girl.'' On Roza's face I saw a slight discomfort. ''Don't you want to ask her to dance with you?'' Still looking at Paul, who was now turning to Rose to ask her to dance, I saw my grandson raising an eyebrow from the corner of my eye. Exactly the reaction I thought he would have. ''Come on Dimka. Let's dance for a bit.'' I now said, turning to him at the same time Rose and Paul rose to join Vasilisa and Christian on the dance floor.

By now everyone was on the dance floor and Paul was still dancing with Rose and Dimitri was still dancing with me. Tought I was very aware that I, as his grandmother wasn't the one he wanted to dance with. ''I never thought I 'd see you jealous of a little boy, your nephew to that.'', I said while he was sparing another look to Roza and his nephew. ''You did know. You did that on purpose.'' ''Yes, I did. Why do you fight it? Why won't you just go to her and ask her to dance with you?'' I threw him a pointed look. ''We all know what your feelings towards her are. We are your family. You know we won't judge you...'' ''I know but the princess and...'', he retorted but I interupted him. ''They are Rose's family. They are her friends. they wouldn't judge her either. You go ask her now.''

Knowing there was nothing to say against that, he obeyed.

I went back to my seat to watch them from afar. How my dear grandson took Roza's much smaller hand in his. The other one he placed on the small of her back and pulled her closer to him. Rose in return looked taken aback by his frankness but relaxed into him after a second. She laid her head onto his chest and while he was laying his head on top of hers. That way they danced for a long while. While the others watched them with the knowing smile I already had all night.

Also tell me what I should improve in my writing! (I'm German and had no beta for my last two chaps so sorry for any grammar mistakes!)

PS: I already mentioned it in my last A/N but I have a new idea for a Fanfic that I might wirte if I have enough time!

If you are interested in it and wanna know what it'll be about (except of the fact that it'll be Romitri) then leave me a review!
