The Fragments of Summer
Author note : Okay everyone. This is my very first fanfic. I really don't know the first thing about making a fanfic, so excuse my grammar and mistakes. Also I would VERY greatful if you tell me where did I do wrong. Like the paragraph rule, no songfic, etc. So without further ado, enjoy!
Disclaimer : I don't think I'm a genious MAN that created the dreamy ghost boy and the crew. I'm just a 13 year old GIRL for goodness sake!
Chapter 1
July 12th 2008
A raven haired girl called after her mom, "Mom! I want to see grandma this afternoon, I'll be back at five!". Her mom called back, "Okay, Samantha. Say get well soon from me and your father for your grandma!"
The newly dubbed 'Samantha' rolled her eyes. "It's Sam! And about your request, I will, for sure!". Then she grabbed her phone and purse, and walked out. Her mother frowned. "Sammy-kins, aren't you going to ride your car? You just got it for your last birthday! And do something about your clothes, grandma wouldn't like it." Her daughter turned to her mother, her face is NOT happy.
"Mom, one, for the last time, it's Sam! Two, I'm not gonna ride that stupid car, it's going to pollute the environment! And three, grandma loves me for who I am, so don't even think about making me wear the disgusting pink dress!" Then she stormed out and slammed the door, not caring about her mother's hurt face.
Sam walked to the Amity Park Hospital, where her grandma was lying. Ever since she was sick, Sam has been moodier than usual. Her grandma was her best friend, she is the only one who understands her, been there for her when she sad, standing up for her when she was 'tortured' by her preppy parents.
She stopped for a moment outside the hospital garden. It was filled with beautiful flowers. But the most beautiful to her, are the sunflowers. She did not care about the bright color, despite her dark appearance.
The sunflowers here were fresh, pretty, and bigger than any other sunflowers. She stared at them fondly for a moment, then walked into the hospital.
She visited the hospital for countless time, but since she's being forced to go on many business trips, no thanks to her parents, who think that the trip was 'educational' for their daughter, she had forgotten her grandma's room number. Great.
She walked over to the recepsionist desk, and asked, "Excuse me, miss, can you tell me which room Ida Manson was in?"
The lady smiled. "Why of course, young lady. You're her granddaughter, Sam, I presume?" Sam nodded, happy because her grandma didn't mention nor use her birthname. "She's in room 367, oh, and you're so lucky to have such a nice grandma, she always talks about you when I visit her room." Sam smiled back, she already liked this lady. She thanked her."Thank you, Ms.." "Oh, call me Ms. Johnson." The older lady said.
"Okay, then, Ms. Johnson. I suppose I'll be heading to Grandma's room now. Thanks a lot!" She said when turning away. "You're very welcome, dear."
Then she turned around and saw hundreds of room. She sighed.
'This is gonna take a long time.'
So how do you guys think? Sorry if it's too short. Well, it's a start. Maybe if there's some grammar mistake, I'm terribly sorry. I'm waiting for your review, if you don't mind! Tell me if I should continue this story or not!
