AN: These past few months have been a little more than life changing. Shortly after my last update 7 of my classmates were in a car crash. One of them past away, one of them (a girl on my volleyball team) was paralyzed. The others had injuries but were okay. I didn't feel like writing for a long time. One top of one of my friends passing away, I have had other problems. I figured out I let my emotions go in two ways: writing and running. I would still go running but I still didn't feel "normal". Sorry for the delay, there still might be long delays because some days are hard than the others. Thank you for sticking with me, much love:)

Chapter 62

I wake to a sweet aroma drifting through the apartment. Cora is on the small couch take a nap and Tobias in the kitchen making dinner. I get up and wrap the blanket around me then go to the kitchen.

"Hey baby."

"Oh good. You're awake. Since we didn't eat in the cafeteria today and your mom wanted to see you, I invited her over to dinner. I was going to come wake you in a little. She'll be over in an hour or so, if you want you have time to take a shower."

"Okay. Is Luke coming also? And what for dinner?"

"A. Probably. And B, it's a surprise."

"Ugh. You're so mean. I'm going to get cleaned up."

I turn and head upstairs to get cleaned up. I pick out a clean pair of black jeans and a loose dark greyish black long sleeve. I turn the water on, then I get undressed. I step into the steam. I let the water pour over me, the drizzle releases the tension in my back. I unconsciously rub my hand over tummy. I'm having a baby. It's still so unreal.

"Hey, there precious. You're gonna love this world. Your daddy and I already love and we just met today. You're going to love your sister, she's going to protect you just like your daddy and me. Our family will also protect, you'll do anything for you. They don't know about you but once they do all they'll do is love you. They're the best family anyone can have, even though they aren't blood. They're more than that. I love you so much, I can't wait until you are in this world."

There's a knock on the door. "Love, are you okay? You've been in there a long time, you mom will be here in about twenty minutes."

"Yea. I'll be out in a minute." I quickly wash my hair and body, then exit the shower. I'm dried and dressed within five minutes. I shake my hair out then head down stairs. As I am going downstairs I realize I didn't put my back brace on. I'll be fine for one evening, then I'll put it on before bed.

As I reach the platform, there's a knock on the door and Tobias goes to get it.

"Natalie, Luke. Come in." He ushers them in then shuts the door behind him. "Tris will be down-" He looks up, "Never mind. Tris is right there." I give my mom a hug and shake Nathan's hand. Cora runs over to the excitement and hides behind my leg.

"Can you say hi to grandma and Luke?"

"Hi Grandma! Hi Luke." She gives my mom a hug but waves to Luke.

"What's for dinner, love? It smells amazing."

"Well if we go to the dining room you'll find out." He leads us to the kitchen, his presses the middle of my back, he looks at me.

"Sit where ever. Tris would you help me in the kitchen?" I follow him to the kitchen. "What do you need help with?"

"Nothing really, just wanted to make sure you're okay. You were in the shower for almost an hour and you don't have your back brace on."

"I'm fine. I lost track of time think about the baby and while I was rushing I forgot to put on my brace. I'll be fine, it's just one evening. Anyways, I should walk into the dining room with something."

"Stubborn. Take the salad and bread, I got the rest." He follows me with the rest of dinner. I sit down and take in what we have for dinner. Tobias made a parmesan chicken with thin noodles. I carried out garlic bread and a garden salad. We serve each other Abnegation style, serving the person to our left.

"This looks fantastic, Four." Luke starts the conversation.

"Thank you. Hana taught me everything I know." He smiles.

"We should've invited Hana and Jared, and the baby."
"I think they are enjoying the much needed alone time with their daughter."

"You're right." We eat dinner talking about this, that, and the other.

We all help clear the table and clean up. Tobias and Luke take Cora to the living room while my mom and I do the dishes. I wash the dishes whiles she rinses, just like when I was younger.

"How was your doctor's appointment? I guessing it went well since Tobias invited us to dinner."

"It went good, really good actually. They figured out what's going on with my back."

"That's good. I'm so happy for you. Did the doctor give you any precautions?" Damn, how'd she figure it out?

"The usual. No stress, lower blood pressure. I'm supposed to be wearing a back brace currently, but I forgot to put it back on after my shower. He restricted what I am allowed to lift, which sucks cause now I can't carry Cora. Other than that he says I'm healthy."

"And Tobias?"

"Happy but scared, for many reasons." Not my story to tell, especially since it's sensitive. "But we promised to tell each other everything, so that everything goes smoothly. "

"Your baby is going to be just like her mother and father. Have you told Cora?"

"No, we are waiting to tell her when we tell our friends, which won't be for another month or maybe longer."

"Good idea."

"How are you and Luke? I mean you guys are with each other all the time."

"We're good."

"Are you guys going to move in with each other?" I want my mom to have someone who truly loves her, someone who won't hurt her or betray her. He has to be honest.

"That's probably in the future. You're so nosey." She flings water at me.

"Am not!" I laugh. We're done with the dishes so we let the water out and head to the living room. The boys started a fire. Cora is laying in Tobias lap, fast asleep. He's talking to Luke when we join them. I lift Cora's legs and sit next to Tobias, resting my head on his arm. My mom does likewise with Luke.

"My mom figured it out. She knows." I whisper to Tobias. "It's okay, I told Luke cause he asked how you back was."

"Okay."

"Congrats, Tris. You guys are amazing parents."

"Thank you. We haven't told anyone else and aren't planning on telling them for a little bit."

"Your secret is safe with us." I yawn and my eyes are heavy. I drift off to sleep.

I don't feel anything until Tobias moves his arms. "Thank you so much for coming over."

I get up. "Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry for falling asleep, I didn't mean to. It's been a long couple of days."
"It's perfectly fine. We're going to head out, we'll see you tomorrow." Mom and Luke give us hugs as we lead them out the door.

Tobias locks the door and we head upstairs. Cora was already in her pajamas so all I have to do is tuck her in. I walk back to our bedroom and get in bed. I wait for Tobias to climb in. He come to the room with a glass of water then he gets in bed.

I give him a kiss that turns into more. I lift his shirt up and over his head. He frantically runs his hands all over my body. We break apart when he lifts my shirt. Then he stops. "No Tris. We can't."

"It's okay, the doctor says it's fine." I say breathlessly. I kiss him again. He kisses back. Then he pushes away. "No."

"Why? Please tell me." I lean my forehead on his shoulder. "Your brace. I'm not doing anything until you put your brace on." I really don't want to put it on, but I will for him. "It's in the bathroom."

"I'll get it for you. Then we can continue."

He goes to the bathroom and returns with my brace. "Let me." He wraps it around me, ever so softly. When he hooks the last one together, he presses one hand at the top of my back and one in the middle. I wrap my arms around his neck. He puts his face in the crook of my neck and kisses softly. He moves his hands to my sides, then leaves a trail of kisses on my collarbone. I remove my arms from his neck and move his face back to mine. Tobias leans back so that we are laying down. I work my way down his neck, while my hands unbutton his jeans. They lower his jeans and boxers down simultaneously, until he's naked. Tobias run's his hands down my back until his thumbs hook onto my underwear straps. We're both laying on each other.

I sit back so that he is at my entrance. Tobias holds my hips. "You sure." I nod. He flips us, so he's on top. I pull his face towards mine as he slides in. He rocks back and forth. I kiss the side of his neck. I can feel him swell, I push him over. I rock my hips when I am on top. Tobias grabs a hold of my hip and moves them. Once he releases, he keeps the pace going. I tighten around him, he flips me onto my back when I do. He pulls out almost fully, then quickly slams right back in. I shudder in release. Then he collapses onto me. I flip us over so that I can lay on to. I kiss him softly.

"You out do yourself, Mr. Eaton."
"If I recall, you started it Mrs. Eaton." He turns us on our sides, and pulls out. I'm left feeling empty. He turns me around so he can pull me closer. "I miss being able to feel every inch of your body."

"It's for the best, Tris. Hopefully at your next appointment you'll be able to take the brace off." He pulls me even closer and puts the bed covers over us. Then he kisses the back of my neck until we drift into sleep.
