Well, this is it.

I posted an announcement on my profile, but, seeing as this is literally the most popular thing I've ever created to this day, you guys deserve an explanation.

When I first started this story, I was a beginner, a fledgling writer barely able to call themselves that. Comedy and AUs were a mystery to me. This story, in a way, changed my life. It changed me for the better.

But, all things must come to an end. I've decided to end this story like this so that way you'll at least get some closure and a reason why.

The first reason is simple, I'm simply not that into anime anymore. It will always hold a special place in my heart for coming into my life during and helping me escape a particularly difficult time, but my interests have just changed. Nowadays, I mostly watch musicals and indie western animated productions. I love Blue Exorcist and, one day, maybe I'll revisit it, but, for now, I've simply changed.

Next is that I'm not proud of my work here. This is my first sketchbook, the one you show to no one and are embarrassed purely by the thought of. These are my beginner's sketches, my first steps into the world of creative writing. I am grateful for what they've done for me, but I honestly never want to see them again. I've grown as an author and, well, this work doesn't represent me anymore. I need a new place to share my projects now.

Lastly, I've just grown up. As much as I love this website, I can no longer be blinded to its issues and the better alternative sites out there. I write in other places now because they suit my style more.

I'll never forget this story, what its done for me, and every single one of your amazing comments. You guys are the real heroes here. You guys are why I kept writing this as long as I did.

I'm sorry if this announcement feels late, I've just been scared to make it. The finality of this situation weighs heavily on my conscious.

This, and my other stories here, will stand as a reminder of where I've been as an author and where I can go. As I go into the future, this will always hold a special place in my heart. I will never forget what I've done here, even as I create original works and go on to my animation degree to, hopefully, create my own cartoon series one day.

This story is finished, but all of ours' are just beginning. That's life, the most mysterious story of them all.

Ain't that a bitch?

At the end of the day, I'll never forget what you've done for me, and I hope you'll never forget what I've done for you.

And, hey, if you happen to like Red vs Blue, Hamilton, or Be More Chill, come swing by my Archive account, NurseMedusa.

But, if not, then, until we meet again, this is Nurse Medusa signing off for her final time.

So long, old friend.
