YUI'S POV
I woke up to the sound of a loud alarm. Grunting, my arm whacked the offending noise, trying to get it to shut up. After a few attempts, I finally managed to silence the loud noise. Yawning, I look around, noticing Azusa was gone. Turning to look at the window, I saw it open slightly. She must've left before I woke up.
I began to blush heavily as I thought of last night, how soft Azusa's lips were, and how beautiful she looked under the moonlight. Honestly, I was very happy. My little Koneko-chan loves me! Hoping it wasn't a dream, I stretched my arms, and wandered out of my room.
"Good morning Onee-chan!" Ui called to me as I walked down the stairs.
I smiled, "Good morning Ui~" I said a bit too happily.
She must've noticed, for she raised her eyebrows, chopsticks hovering over the plate. "Why so happy?"
I blushed. "N-no reason." I shuffled towards the table bashfully, and took a seat. She slid a slice of toast with jam on it towards me.
"Thank you~"
Several minutes pass, and Ui finishes her food. Taking her dishes to the sink, I watch absentmindedly, still munching on the toast. I watched with interest for a few seconds, before my mind began to wander off to a certain adorable rhythym guitartist.
"Onee-chan." Ui asked suddenly, snapping Yui out of her daydream.
"Y-yeah?" My head snapped up from my rather... Indecent daydream. A bright blush already making an appearance on my face.
"What would you like for lunch?" Ui asked me, giving me a concerned look.
I smiled shyly, before nodding. "Anything is good Ui."
She nodded and turned back towards the kitchen.
As soon as her was back turned, I ran up the stairs, almost tripping on the last step. I ran towards the bathroom, and began my morning routine. Once everything in the bathroom was done, I walked over to my room and started putting on my uniform. I could faintly hear Ui doing the same in her room. Setting my signature yellow hairpins in my hair to hold up my bangs, I grabbed my bag, and sprinted back down the stairs.
Soon after, Ui followed. Just as I was about to suggest something, my phone ringed.
Confused, I gave Ui a bemused look, before pulling my phone out. 'Ricchan?'
"Hello?" I answered.
I heard a crackle, then a familiar voice ringed through the speaker.
"Hey Yui!" Ricchan greeted me. "Come over to my house after school."
Before I could answer, the phone hung up.
Slightly confused, I stared at my cell phone screen. 'Ricchan could've told me that at school, so why did she have to call me?' What really caught me off guard though, was the badly hidden panic in her voice...
/
Why am I so paranoid? Azusa's absent today. She probably caught a cold right? Do vampires even get colds?
Also, why was Ritsu absent as well? I guess band practice is off...
I sighed, I can't push the feeling away. Azusa has been in my mind since that last night, and I can't help but feel like something horrible has happened to her.
Trudging up to Ritsu's door, I knocked quietly. Fumbling with my school bag, as I waited for the door to open.
"Hi Yui-chan." Mugi greeted me, pulling the door open, and letting me in.
"Hi Mugi-chan." How did she get here before I did? She was at school with me...
Mugi gestured inside. Stepping in, I walked up the stairs. Immediately recognizing the various band posters. Ritsu and Mio sat on the bed next to someone. I observed their expressions. Ritsu's face was scrunched up in concentration, while Mio's facial expression showed confusion, and slight fear.
As soon as Ritsu saw me, she stood up, blocking my view of her bed.
"Yui, before I tell you anything. Don't freak out." Ritsu warned me, as her hands gripped at my shoulders. Curious, I narrowed my eyes. Who exactly was under those covers? Giving Ritsu a look that explained that I understood her, she let go of me, and I slowly made my way towards her bed.
My heart immediately sunk down to my stomach.
"Azusa?" I whispered.
Her breathing was even, but she had various scratches on her face, as well as some bandages. A huge gash was across her face, starting from under her eye, to the edge of her mouth. But it seemed to be healing already.
"We found her like that yesterday. somewhere in the forest. By your neighborhood." Ritsu explained from behind me. "For some reason, her wounds seem to be healing fast, compared to what she looked like when we first found her."
I could feel tears already stream down my face. Azusa was so battered and bruised, how had this happened? Furiously rubbing the tears out of my eyes, that stubbornly refused to end, I looked back towards my friends.
Mugi and Mio gazed at me sadly. Ritsu gave me a look of sympathy, before lifting the blankets on top of Azusa. Revealing even more bruises and cuts.
I gasped as I saw the maroon covered bedsheets under her. Obviously coming from the large laceration across her ribs. Her shirt was off, but her chest was covered with a layer of Ace bandages, while more bandages littered her bruised torso.
"We couldn't take her to the hospital, and you know that." Mio spoke up. "They would find something obviously wrong with her, and turn her in."
I nodded, knowing exactly what would happen if they were to bring her to a hospital. But how did this happen? Ritsu said she found her like this yesterday. Yesterday was the day that Azusa had come over... How could this have happened in the time period of a few hours?
'I guess I should just be happy she isn't...' I thought, trailing off.
Looking back at my lover, I shifted towards her, and lowered my head on the bed, resting my chin on the covers, staring at her as my hand slowly found hers.
Slowly, I heard my friends leave, and shut the door quietly. Closing my eyes I took deep breath, as my grip tightened slightly on her hand.
"Azusa." I choked out. "What happened?"
I sat in silence in that room for what seemed like hours. I was close to falling asleep before I felt her stir. My eyes widened, as my head shot up, my eyes trained on her. Slowly, her eyes opened, and she blinked a couple of times, before bringing her other hand up to rub her eyes.
"Nggg..." She groaned.
"Azusa?"
As soon as she heard my voice, she lowered her hand, and her eyes opened. Training her slightly unfocused crimson eyes on me, she blushed, despite the obvious pain in them.
"Y-Yui?"
I felt more stubborn tears begin to fall, as I buried my face in her neck. The dam of emotions finally breaking again as I began to feel myself cry.
"What happened!" I yelled, trying to choke the sobs threatening to tear through my throat. Slowly, the bed shifted, as she I felt her hand stroke my head gently. "You were fine when you left! What could have possible hurt you like this!?"
"Its nothing Yui... Don't worry about it." She soothed, trying to calm me down. I could feel her shaking, but she seemed calm. Running her fingers through my hair, I could feel her breathing painfully.
"Don't worry about it?! How could I not worry about you!" I screamed, bringing my face up to look at hers. She had so much pain in her eyes, and mine reflected them equally. She looked sad, before opening her mouth to speak only to be cut off as my lips met hers once again.
I felt her firmly kiss back, comforting me as I felt more tears slip down my face. My grip on her hand tightened. Breaking the kiss, she gave me a flustered look, before hissing in pain, as she shifted her body.
"No." I chided her, pushing her gently back into bed. "You can't move in this condition."
"But-"
"No buts! You're not going anywhere like this!" I gave her a glare, before calling my friends back in. Slowly, I saw their heads pop in, as they responded to my call.
"Yeah?" Ritsu answered, sticking her head through the doorway.
"Azusa's awake, do you have any medicine for pain?" I asked her, keeping an eye on Azusa incase she tried to escape again.
"Um..." Ritsu thought, bringing her finger up to her chin. "Yeah." She said after a while, before turning around to go get it. Before she could leave though, I grabbed her arm, stopping her in her tracks.
"Get sleeping pills if you have any too." I whispered, hoping Azusa hadn't heard me, which was highly unlikely. I plan to bring her over to my house when it gets dark, because I know that Ritsu's parents come home every night, and would probably question why there was an injured girl in their daughter's bed.
Ritsu nodded before disappearing into the hallway.
Sighing, I moved backed to Azusa's bed. Giving her a look of confusion. She returned my look, only briefly, before turning to look away, guilt clearly flashing in her beautiful eyes.
"Yui." She says after a while. Turning her head to look into my eyes.
Tilting my head, I gave her a bemused expression. Humming a response, I met her gaze. Her eyes were filled with so much discomfort, and sadness, but behind that, I could see love. Love that burned for me.
"I'm sorry for worrying you..." She apologized, she was close to tears. Noticing the teardrops that threatened to fall, I gently embraced the petite girl, trying to pacify her in her saddened state.
"I love you Azusa." I whispered, stroking her ebony colored hair. "I hate seeing you hurt like this. Please... Tell me what happened."
I felt her shake her head. "I can't Yui." She choked out, burying her face deeper into my neck. "I'm so sorry."
I could faintly feel the tears stain my shirt, as I rubbed soothing circles on her back. I will find out what happened, I mentally vowed to myself. Slowly she pulled away, giving me a pained smile, before she layed back down. Gripping her hand, I brushed her bangs out of the way, as I kissed her forhead.
"Get some rest Azusa, I'll be here when you wake up okay?"
She nodded, before closing her eyes. Slowly, her breathing began to get slower and slower, until it was coming out rythymatically. As soon as she fell asleep, I lifted up the blanket to check her wounds. I felt slighty awkward, kind of like a pervert, but convinced myself that it was for her own good.
I flinched as I saw the gash across her ribs. It was still bleeding, but I watched in fascination as I saw the skin around it began to heal itself slowly. I studied the wound, hoping that I would at least get some clue out of it. But I couldn't get any ideas. The gash looked like it could've come from anything. Sighing, I gave up for the moment, before standing up.
Walking out into the hallway, I noticed Mio and Mugi in heated conversation, while Ritsu sat next to them, deep in thought. As soon I walked out, I became the center of attention.
"You okay Yui?" Ritsu asked me, handing me a bottle of pain killers, as well as sleep medication. She gave me a concerned look, before I forced a smile.
"Y-yeah... I'm fine." I lied, taking a seat next to Mugi. "She's asleep right now." I pointed to where Azusa was. I sighed, before I returned my gaze back to my friends. "Do you guys know what might've happened?"
Mugi and Mio shook their heads. "I'm sorry Yui-chan, but we only just found her like that."
I nodded, before returning my gaze back to the floor, resuming the awkward silence in the house. "I'm gonna bring her home with me." I said suddenly.
"Why?" Ritsu questioned, Wouldn't it make more sense for her to stay here?"
I shook my head in disagreement, "But your parents come home every day Ricchan, they'd definitely question you if they found a stranger in your bed." I watched as she nodded, "And since we don't know where Azusa lives, and my parents are never home, it wouldn't make sense to just leave her here." I added.
"Yui makes a good point, Ritsu." Mio agreed, "But there's still the problem of moving her."
"I could just carry her, our houses aren't that far apart, and she is fairly light."
"Are you sure? You can't do it out in the daylight." Mugi joined in, "People would see, and most likely report you to the authorities for suspicious activity."
"That's why I plan on bringing her home with me tonight." I explained. "Ui has some sort of Medical training, she could take care of Azusa for the time being."
"What if you run into trouble?" Ritsu asked, concern clearly laced in her voice. "Suspicious people tend to walk around here, especially at night." She glanced at Mio before looking back at me and continuing, "And if what Azusa says is true... And werewolves do exist, what would you do if you ran into one of them?"
I lowered my head. "But I can't do it in the daylight, I have a better chance doing this tonight." I explain, i'd rather risk my own life to keep Azusa safe. I looked up to meet their perturbed gazes. "I've made up my mind, I'm going to do it tonight."
"At least let us go with you." Mio cut in, "We'd be safer as a group."
"No, your parents wouldn't let you out late at night unless you gave them a very specific reason. And I wouldn't want to drag you guys into unnecessary danger." I mused. "If you and Mugi-chan were to come with me, we would just have to be seperated again, since we live in opposite directions. So it's fine, I'll be fine." I reassured them. "As soon as Azusa wakes up, I'll give her the sleeping pills, and bring her home."
I heard Mugi sigh relunctantly, "Okay, but please." She begged. "Call us if anything happens, we don't want any more harm to come to the both of you."
I nodded, before giving them a smile. "Thanks for caring so much guys."
"Well, you are our airheaded guitarist." Ritsu joked, trying to make light of the situation. "We can't exactly be a band with you."
I chuckled, before throwing myself at Ritsu. "Group hug!"
I heard Mio, and Mugi laugh from across the room, before I felt their arms wrap around me and Ritsu.
/
The afternoon passed by like a blur. Ritsu managed to get Satoshi, her little brother, to stay out of the house for a little while. She told him to hang out with his friends instead of coming home, and the younger boy agreed without hesitation, making it much easier on the already complicated situation.
Once Azusa had woken up, I had spoon fed her some soup, before she managed to fall back asleep again. And since Mugi knew a little bit of knowledge about first aid, she cleaned her wounds, and wrapped them in new bandages every hour, while occasionally teaching me some new things. Her wounds seem to be getting better, as if they were dissapearing slowly. Though, I never left her side, despite the constant callings of my other friends.
Once it became dark out, I began my plan.
"Here Azusa." I handed her a glass of water that had the sleeping pills in it. I hope to god that she didn't notice. She seemed out of it though. I couldn't help but feel guilty, as she took large sips of the water.
"Thank you Yui." She smiled at me, before laying back down. "I'm sorry you have to take care of me like this."
"It's fine, you know I'd do anything for you." I whispered, hiding my face behind my hands, due to the bright blush that appeared. Azusa blushed as well, before she coughed into her hand. We talked for a while before Azusa yawned.
"Sleepy?" I asked.
"Yeah..." She nodded, before smiling at me sweetly, showing off her adorable fangs. Which caused my heartbeat to stop for a few seconds. 'Dammit Azusa! You're just to cute!'
"Well then gets some rest." I giggled, gently nuzzling her cheek with my nose. She chuckled, before she pulled me down for a hug. "Love you." She whispered bashfully.
I blushed, returning the heartfelt confession, before I felt her grip loosen around me. Slowly, her breathing evened out, until she eventually let go of me. Sighing, I brushed some of the defiant strands out of her beautiful pale face, before checking on her wounds once more. The cut on her face seemed to be healing well, it wasn't bleeding anymore, but I still wouldn't want it to get infected.
The large gash on her ribs however, was a different story. It did stop bleeding, a good sign I guess you could say. But it was taking way longer to heal then any of the others. Which would make sense, considering the size of it. Mugi had put in stitches to help with the healing process, but it was done by an amateur. We didn't want to go to the hospital, or emergency room, because of what they might think about Azusa's unnatural ability to heal inexplicably fast.
"Ready?" Ritsu asked from behind me. I turned around to see her arms crossed l, as she looked at me from the doorway.
"Yeah, my house isn't that far, Ricchan" I reassured her.
She nodded, "Your absolutely sure you don't want us to come with you?"
"Yes." I confirmed. "Like I said, your parents and Satoshi-kun will be home in an hour. They'd definitely question where'd you be off to so late at night."
Sighing in agreement, Ritsu shrugged, before she turned around to get the rest of the band. I watched her leave, before I turned to look at Azusa.
Her expression was content, as if she was having a good dream. Making sure she was asleep, I looped my arms around her back, and under her legs.
"Upsy daisy." I muttered. She was extremely light, not at all heavy. 'Either that, or i'm just really strong.' I chuckled. Walking out towards the hallway, I saw Mugi asleep on the couch, while Ritsu and Mio talked. As soon as I walked out, Mio jumped, and hurried over to me. She looked at me all over, then returned her gaze to Azusa's sleeping face.
She sighed in relief, before she looked back at me. "What about your school bag?" She asked.
I shrugged. 'I'll never concentrate on my homework with so much to think about.' I thought bitterly. "It'll just get in the way, I left Gitah at school, so could you guys just bring it to school tomorrow?" I asked them.
Ritsu nodded. "Sure thing private." She saluted. I chuckled, "Thank you captain!" I couldn't salute back though, due to the sleeping girl in my arms. "Tell Mugi-chan I said bye." I glanced at the sleeping blonde, she had a dreamy look on her face, telling me that she was probably having one of her perverted fantasy dreams.
Walking towards the entrance, Ritsu jogged up behind me, before opening the door for me. Nodding a thanks, I slipped on my shoes, before walking out into the cold night, keeping a tight grip on the girl in my arms.

RITSU'S POV
As soon as Yui left, Mio immediately started freaking out. "R-R-Ritsu!" She stammered, tears in her eyes.
"W-wh..?" I jumped, as I felt her bury herself in my arms. Shocked, I only stood there, before my brain started working again. 'This was just like last time...' I remembered. Not that I minded, Mio smelled good, and she was extremely soft. Quickly, I embraced her in a hug, running my hand across her back comfortingly. I tried to push down the feeling of utter joy, as she clinged onto my jacket and she snuggled closer. "I'm so worried about them." She murmured after a while.
"Hey." I murmured, putting on a brave face. She lifted her head, gazing at me with her watering eyes. I gave her a reassuring smile. "We're talking about Yui here. The lazy fairy; the girl who picked up a guitar, and immediately started to impress everyone somehow." I joked.
"Be serious!" She yelled. "What if they something happens along the way? Yui has the self-defense of a five year old!"
Unable to hold back a snort of laughter, I turned to look away. Gently, I hugged her tighter. "Mio, nothing bad will happen. I promise you that." I looked into her stormy grey eyes. After a few moments of akward silence, I grinned goofily.
"Lycopene." I added, trying to erase the heavy aura between us.
I saw her lips curve upwards into a teary smile, before she pushed me away playfully. "It's like you know exactly what to say to me." She stuck her tongue out at me.
"Well, how else would I be able to get along with such a crybaby after all these years?" I teased, glad that Mio had that beautiful smile on her face once again.
"Baka! I'm not a crybaby!" She protested.
"Pshh." I waved disbelievingly at her. "You cried when you dropped your ice cream cone that one time."
"That was 5 years ago!" Mio objected. "And to be completely fair, you pushed me!"
I chuckled nervously at the memory. "Oh yeah..." Rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly, before bringing up another subject. Looking down at my jacket, I grinned mischeviously. "Mio! You got your tears all over my new jacket!" I whined.
She blushed, "There's nothing there!" She strided up to me, taking a closer look. "I don't see anything."
Quickly, my arms shot out to wrap around her, trapping her in another hug. Yelping out in shock, she began to wriggle around. "L-let me go!" She blushed. Despite her struggles, I kept a firm grip on her. She was extremely cuddly.
"Why are you blushing Mio-chaun~"
"Because your so close!"
"Oh? I didn't know you had such a dirty mind." I teased her.
"What! Ritsu!" She yelled, blushing even harder. Finally she managed to wriggle out of my arms, and gave me a very angry flustered expression. I watched in interest as she began to pat down offending strands of hair, before turning to grab her things.
"Are you leaving now?" I asked, taking a seat next to a still knocked out Mugi. She had the most blissful expression on her face.
"Yeah, I've got homework to do you know." She responded.
"Why don't you do it here, and walk home with Mugi when she wakes up?" I offered her. "I've gotta clean my bedsheets from all the bloodstains anyway."
She looked at me for a while, giving off a slight shudder at the mention of 'bloodstains', before she nodded. "Yeah, okay." I gave her a smile, before looking at the clock. '9:45?'" My parents are coming home in 15 minutes!" I yelped, quickly standing up and running to my bedroom. I sighed as I surveyed the huge mess all over my bedsheets.
"Do you need any help?" Mio called out from the other room. Guiltily, I poked out my head and nodded. She offered me a sympathetic smile, before getting up and helping me.
/
"Finally!" I cheered. We managed to get everything in the washer, and somehow wash out the bloodstains in less than 10 minutes. Leaving a few minutes to rest.
"Thanks Mio." I bowed dramatically to her. "I think we should wake up Mugi now." I nodded over to the still sleeping girl in the living room. Agreeing, she walked over to the sleeping blonde, and gently shook her awake. As soon as those bleary eyes opened, she shot up, startling the living daylights out of Mio.
"Yui!" She squealed. She looked around the room, all panicky, her breathing coming out in ragged gasps.
"Woah! Mugi calm down, she left with Azusa ten minutes ago." I explained to her, as Mio tried to calm her down. Yui lived about 20 minutes from me, so she would probably be home soon. Taking deep breaths just as the noirette instructed, Mugi's breathing became more even.
"Sorry." She apologized.
"Its fine." I waved it off. "But you guys should get going soon, my parents are on their way home."
Groggily, Mugi stretched, somehow still looking graceful, and grabbed her schoolbag. As soon as that was done, I escorted them to the door a bid them a farewell, just as my parents, and Satoshi came home. I watched as their figures slowly dissapeared into the night.

JUN'S POV
I pouted as I played the same note over and over again on my bass. I wasn't really thinking about practicing at the moment, but I wasn't really sure what else to do either. My parents were out for the day, and my older brother went with them.
I scrunched up my nose as I smelt the foul odor emitting from my room. I honestly should clean it...'Maybe tomorrow.' I thought dismissively, before laying back, resting my head on a pillow behind me.
'4 days left.' I reminded myself. 'Four more days left until I go berserk during that damn eclipse.'
I sighed, poor Ui. She has two best friends, that she knows almost nothing about. One was a vampire, and the other... A werewolf. I chuckled as I thought about me coming out to her and telling her that. She would probably give me a funny looking pout, and ask me to stop messing around with her.
'Then I would insist and actually show her. Then she would freak out and stop talk-' I quickly shut my eyes, pushing down the rather unhappy thought. I really hated what I was. 'Why couldn't I be normal?' Blocking out all other noises, I felt my breathing slow down. Just as I was getting comfortable, a loud chiming noise jolted me awake.
"Coming!" I yelled, before I quickly stood up and hurried over to the door. Blinking the drowsiness out of my eyes, I pulled the door open.
"Hi Jun-chan." Ui greeted me happily.
"Oh, H-Hi Ui."
"Are you okay?" She asked me, concerned, as she tilted her head slightly.
"Oh, Y-yeah! I'm fine, just woke up from a nap." I told her, laughing nervously, as I rubbed my eyes, trying to stifle a yawn, but failing horribly.
"Oh... Did I wake you up?" Ui questioned. "i'm Sorry."
"Nah, it's fine, it's fine. Do you wanna come in?" I offered her, before she beamed at me, and nodded.
Stepping into the house, she murmured a greeting before slipping off her shoes, and following me into the living room. She sat down next to me.
"So did you need something?" I ask, stretching my arms.
"No, I just wanted to visit you, Onee-chan isn't home yet." She smiled in my direction. My heart stopped as she looked at me. Quickly I looked away, fighting the internal battle within me to keep down my vibrant blush.
"Okay, what do you want to do then?" I ask nonchalantly, leaning back into the cushions. 'Don't embarrass yourself Jun!' I warned myself.
"I don't know. Wanna go somewhere?" She suggested. "Like the park, or the mall?"
"Hmmm." I pondered. "Sure why not?" I excused myself before running back to my room to grab my wallet, and cell phone. Walking back out, I met Ui near the entrance.
"Oh, and before I forget." Ui said suddenly brought up. "Do you know where Azusa-chan lives?"
"No." I replied, "Why?"
"She wasn't at school today remember? I wanted to visit her and see if she's okay."
I shrugged, "I'm sure she's fine. She'll probably come to school tomorrow." I replied confidently. As far as I know, other worldly creatures can't catch colds.
Nodding, Ui tugged me outside, before we began to walk towards the town. We went to the mall first. Ui dragged me to a really girly shop that had a ton of suggestive clothing. But I didn't complain, I was with Ui today, nothing could possible ruin it.
"Ui~" I whined after a while of mindless shopping. "I'm huunggry."
"Oh! Sorry Jun-chan! I was too busy looking at all this I forgot about what you wanted to do." She apologized.
"Its alright, I'll just go to the food court real quick, then meet you back here if you want."
"Nope!" I felt her tangle our arms together, before once again dragging me towards the food court. "I'm buying you food."
"Eh! N-No way, I have money!" I frantically waved my free hand. But Ui would have none of it, she simply shook her head, and pulled me towards one of my favorite fast food resturants.
Nodding in agreement, I let her drag me. I felt bad for not paying, I really did. I had just recently got my allowance, and I was just itching to spend it, and what better way to spend it on someone you really, really like?
/
Twenty minutes later, I was leaning back, patting my stomach contently. "Thank you Ui~" I sighed happily.
She giggled, before checking the time. "Wanna leave now Jun-chan? Its getting kinda late."
Checking my phone, I noticed the time. '8:30? Wow, time sure flies when your having fun...'
"I'll escort you, my lady." I teased, holding out my hand. She giggled once more, before taking it. I pulled her up from her seat, and grabbed my bag. Slowly we made our way home, Ui shivered as our bodies made contact with the cold night air. I smiled softly to myself as I felt Ui snuggle closer to me for warmth. Soon we were passing by one of those dangerous dark alleyways. I could feel Ui tense up as we heard foot steps following us.
"Hey pretty girls, where are you off to so late at night?"
Turning around, I saw three suspicious looking guys following us. The one who spoke, laughed. "Why don't you come with us? We'll show you a good time."
"Piss off." I growled. Ui pulled on my shirt, whimpering. "Don't provoke them Jun-chan..."
I took satisfaction in their surprised expressions. They had no idea who they were messing with. I glanced up. 'Crescent moon? I can work with that.'
The guy spoke up again, his expression now one of anger. "Watch what your saying girl." He snarled. "It could cost your life."
Pulling away from Ui, I turned around. "Oh yeah?" I taunted. I was just about to shut him up before he could do anything to Ui, but before he could, I felt warm arms embrace me from behind.
"Jun-chan, please don't. Let's just leave." Ui cried from behind me. Slowly, my eyes softened. Turning back to the three guys behind us, I shot them a glare, before I turned to walk away, Ui gripping my hand tightly. We made it a few steps away, before I heard him yell again.
"Hey! Where do you think you're going?"
"Away from you creeps." I yelled back curtly. We made it a few steps away before my eyes widened as I heard footsteps rapidly running in our direction. Spinning around quickly, I pulled Ui behind me.
"You bitch! You think you can just-" He yelled, swinging his arm towards my face. Quickly, I growled, and grabbed his fist, my sharp nails digging painfully into his wrist. Twisting it, I buried my other hand in his stomach, My claws easily ripping through his skin. His blood trickled into my hand, as I felt him drop in front of me. My golden eyes were glowing, as I bared my teeth at his companions, before they dashed away. Leaving his friend on the floor.
Breathing heavily, I tried to calm myself, as images of Ui floated through my brain. If I let myself go here, I might— 'No, don't think about that Jun.' I reprimanded. Looking down at my hand, I saw it was soaked in blood. Retracting my nails, I fell to my knees, hating myself for not being able to stay under control.
"Jun-chan..." Ui whispered, snapping me back to reality. Slowly, I looked up at her. Her face was scrunched up in confusion, but also fear.
"I'm sorry." I looked away, my heart hurting.
I expected her to leave. To run away, and stop talking to me. But I got something different. My eyes widened as I felt her arms wrap around my waist, as she buried her head in my neck.
"What are you doing?" I choked out, before I felt her nuzzle my neck, I could feel the tears slip down her face, and onto my neck.
"Thank you Jun-chan, thank you." She sobbed. I looked at her, she was crying her heart out. Slowly, I stood up, lifting her up with me. My first priority was to leave here before anymore of those guys come back.
Slowly, Ui clung to me, as we walked to her house. Opening the front door, I placed her gently on the couch. Cupping her cheek with my clean hand, I wiped away the tears with my thumb. "Its okay Ui." I soothed.
She shook her head in denial. "Jun-chan, why didn't you tell me?"
"Tell you what?"
She looked up at me, giving me a look of pain. I sighed, before sitting down next to her. There was no use in playing dumb. "First of all, what did you see?"
"I-I saw your eyes glow bright yellow... Kind of like a wolf." She stuttered, once her tears stopped. "You grabbed that man by his arm, and..." She trailed off, before her gaze shifted to my bloody hand.
Slowly, I exhaled, before explaining."Ui...me and Azusa have been hiding a secret from you." I started, looking her in the eyes. "It was for your own good."
Ui only looked down. "Azusa-chan too?"
"But since you saw that... I guess I have to spill the beans." I tried to joke, but it fell on empty ears. Silence took over, before I spoke again.
"I'm a Werewolf." I said bluntly.
She looked at me incrediously, before lowering her eyes once more. "C'mon Jun-chan, please just tell me the truth."
"Its true." I insisted. Showing her my clean hand. She watched as I brought my claws out, my eyes glowing bright yellow once again. Slowly I bared my teeth, as my canines grew.
Her eyes widened, before she stifled a gasp with her hand.
"I'm sorry." I murmur.
