The cowboy walked towards the car to greet the young couple, but then got a suprise of his own.

"Robin?"

"Who the hell is Robin?" Asked Rachel.

"Robin...only 2 people ever called me that name, Bruce and..." He stopped and started to stare at the man.

"And what?" Said Rachel.

"Roy, is it really you?"

"In the flesh, boy!" He said as Richard embraced him in a man hug.

"I haven't seen you since I..."

"...got adopted by big Ole Bruce Wayne." Roy finished bitterly.

"I'm sorry, I swear I would've told you but it was on such short notice."

"Ehh, it's alright. If it makes you feel any better, I got adopted too."

"Really? By who?"

"Oliver Queen."

Rachel interrupted them. "Didn't he want something from us a while ago, Richard?"

"Yeah, he had put in an order for some new arrows for his arsenal."

"Yup, my old man owns an Archery Emporium! And if you don't mind my asking, who is this lovely lady over here?"

"This is my girlfriend and business partner Rachel."

"Charmed." Said Rachel.

"Pleasure to make your acquaintance, sweetheart." He said taking her hand and gently kissing it.

"Now what are y'all doing down here in the countryside?"

"We were driving to New York..."

"When we should've flew there." Said Rachel.

"Shhh. So I'm driving on our way to New York then I suppose we have gotten lost."

"I told him to stop for directions but nooo. Don't listen to me, listen to instinct."

"Eh that's Robin for ya, stubborn as that there ole mule." He said pointing to a mule in a stable.

"Yeah." She smirked. "Well right now we're sitting ducks. Our car has broken down and my phone is dead. Richard, what's up with your phone?"

"No signal."

"Shit."

"Well, there is no way I'm gonna let my old best friend and his beautiful girlfriend stay out in the cold. Y'all could bunk in with me." Roy said.

"Are you sure about that? We don't wanna intrude." Richard asked a little skeptical. He wasn't sure he liked the way he was looking at Rachel.

"Hell yeah, I'm sure. I've got plenty of room to spare and you're my best buddy. Plus it would give me a chance to fuck up your city life and help you experience life in the country."

"At least we know he has good intentions." Rachel said sarcastically.

Roy chuckled at her humor. "Then it's settled. You're staying with me!"

"Alright then, I'll put our stuff in the house." Richard said taking out a huge suitcase. Roy quickly walked over to him and picked up another.

"Rachel, you can get yourself settled in. Let the men handle this." He said with a wink. Rachel glared at him but walked inside the home. Walking in, Rachel saw that it was a lot nicer inside than on the outside.

For a common farmhouse of course.

It had some pretty nice furniture, a large plasma TV with a fireplace under it. She traveled to the kitchen and saw that he had a black marble counter top, a large refrigerator with double doors. One for the fridge and one for the freezer. She decided to explore more so Rachel went up the spiral staircase to see that there were more rooms with red and yellow doors. One would think that the colors kinda clashes but it looked nice to her.

'This house is beautiful.' She thought.

Granted she wasn't thrilled about living in some common farmhouse but she was able to give credit where credit is due.

Rachel was about to enter in one of the doors when someone came in downstairs. Richard and Roy.

"Rachel!" Richard screamed.

Rachel ran down the stairs and stood in front of the two men who were carrying all of their things. "Yes?"

"I'm gonna put the rest of our belongings upstairs."

"Alright." As soon as Richard decided to leave, Roy spoke up.

"Seems as if I have a little spy."

Rachel frowned. "Roy, was it?"

"Last time I checked." He said smirking.

"I wasn't spying on anything. I was examining the environment. This is new to me and frankly, I'm not comfortable temporarily living in some random place."

"Ah so you're the health inspector then? I'll give you one more thing to inspect." He said seductively.

'Is he serious?!' Rachel thought.

"Are you flirting with me?" She asked shocked.

"Are you flattering yourself a little too much?" He said mocking her.

"Ughhh. Look, it's clear to me that you like to be a thorn in people's side but let me tell you right now it's not gonna happen with me. You better leave me alone for the time being."

"Can't do that little lady. This is a whole new environment for y'all city folk. You might, no you're gonna need me to guide you around!" He said smirking.

"Guide?" She spat.

"Call it southern hospitality."

"Well I'm going to have to decline your offer. See I don't know if you 'country folk' have this thing called SIRI. She'll help me with anything." Rachel said rudely.

"I thought you said your phone was dead?" He said knowingly. Rachel was about to retort but Richard walking in.

"I'm back." Said Richard walking in on their conversation.

"Okay Robin. I'll let you guys rest for a moment then I'm taking you out for a grand tour."

"Awesome. Rachel you coming with?" He said with a soft smile.

"Sure. Hold on, I'll meet you there."

"Okay." He said once again walking back upstairs. Rachel was about to follow when Roy spoke up again.

"Rachel is it?" He said smirking. Rachel frowned at him once more.

"You know, you were right. I don't have SIRI." He then walked up behind her. She could feel his front on her back ad well as his body heat. He dug in his pocket and pulled out a Galaxy smartphone.

"I'm team Android." He said walking away. Rachel let out a frustrated grunt and walked upstairs to join her boyfriend.
