246Hi, so I dug up these old writings and decided to rewrite them. I've now posted the NEW Chapter 1 while removing the OLD chapters. I hope ya all like it.

"Bzzz! Bzzz! Bzzz! Bzzz! Bzzz! Bzz–!"
At a particular house, in a particular room, the sound of the alarm clock went off in a dark room as a glimpse of sun ray shined through the gap of the blinds. The alarm clock was swiftly silence by a hammer of judgement which belonged to the silhouette figure that was lying on the bed. The person gurgled as he turned to the other side and resumed sleeping.
His ears twitched when he heard the someone opened his door and entered his room. He sighed inwardly in defeat as he knew he could no longer enjoy his sleep. He was right, the person who entered his room spoke in a disapproving tone in her voice.
"Today's the first day of our school and you wish to be late?"
"… … …"
"If my memory serves me correctly, it was you who wanted to attend the school, and yet you're skipping it now?"
"… … …"
"You'll be setting poor examples to your juniors at your school."
"… … …"
He said nothing, but his brows did furrow a little. It did not go unnoticed by the female in the room. She was an extremely beautiful young woman with jade eyes and waist length blonde hair that's styled in a single braid. The school uniform that she's wearing failed to cover up her tall, voluptuous figure. Her very existence would surely make the mortals on earth to bow down to her and worship her as their goddess.
The young lady sighed and decided to try a different approach. "I've made your favourite breakfast. If you're not up in the next 10 seconds, I'm dumping them into the sink." That caught his attention as he immediately shot his upper body up from the bed and glared at the woman who was standing next to his bed. "You wouldn't dare." He growled threateningly at her.
"How long have you known me? You should know by now, what I'm capable of…Satan." A cold sweat went down his back after he saw an edge of her peachy lips was stretched mischievously. "Y-you…And people call me the Devil." He chuckled lightly in defeat as he got up and exited his room to clean himself up for the day.
"To watch you wolfing down something as heavy as ramen for breakfast is still mind-boggling to me 'til this day?" The young lady commented amusingly while she watched the young man busy slurping the bowl of the noodles that was made by her.
The young man who's about the lady's height, was donned in a school attire similar to hers. His short, spiky black hair was matched with a pair grey eyes. He didn't reply as his mouth was full but the look he gave her was clearly saying, "You got a problem with that?". She chuckled, but then placed a document next to him.
"So…I guess you're going by Hyoudou Issei now?"
It was then, Issei moved away the empty bowl and took the document with a solemn expression. "Yes. I am doing this to honour the old couple. They took us in even though we're strangers…" He paused and stared at the thin air as memories of his past interaction with them flooded back into his mind. "They took us in, treated us like we're they're children. And when it's time for them to pass on, they gave the house and everything they ever owned to us." Finally, he set his eyes on hers. She too was eyeing him with slight concern. "I refuse to let their family name die. This is the least I can do for them."
The young lady rested her hand on his clenched fist. She gave him a warm, angelic smile before she decided to speak, "It was nice of you to take the name they had chosen should they ever have a son. I am sure that people as kind as them will always have a spot in the Heaven." Her little honesty soothed his mind and heart, so he bobbed his head gratefully.
{...Not to ruin the mood, but let's not forget about the Devils and Fallen Angels in this town.}
A third voice that came out of nowhere and caught their attention. The young lady and man stared at the latter's left hand.
"For a dragon who sleeps like a sloth, you're up early today, Ddraig."
Ddraig, one of the Two Heavenly Dragons. Ddraig, the Welsh Dragon, the Red Dragon Emperor, the Red Dragon Emperor of Domination. The mighty dragon that was feared by various supernatural factions of in the world as his destructive powers could kill even Gods themselves. That, however, was all in the past as his body was destroyed and his very soul now resided in one of the Thirteen Longinus, the Boosted Gear.
{Ha. Ha. Ha. Yes, I am awake. Good morning to you, Gabriel and you too, partner.}
The young man's back hand began shining in a circular green light as the third voice greeted the goddess respectfully while he dryly replied his host.
"Good morning, Ddraig. It's nice that you decided to join us today." Gabriel first greeted the dragon in a friendly tone, before deciding to bring back the topic which the heavenly dragon had previously stated. "He is right. What are you going to do with the Devils and the Fallen Angels?" To answer their question, Issei merely shrugged his shoulders. "Nothing, Gab. I'm not doing anything. Should either side decided to approach us, we'll deal with them accordingly."
With that, he got up from his seat and set the empty bowl into the sink. "Thanks for the breakfast, Gabriel. Your cooking is as divine as ever." The young lady smiled at his compliment and handed his school bag to him before leaving. But before she could walk away, Issei took her hand and stopped her by surprise. "Gab," He softly called her before kneeling in front of her. After his forehead gently kissed her hand, he looked up and stared deep into her emerald eyes. "I...I just want to thank you. Thank you for staying by my side for all these millenniums." The young man said it wholeheartedly. "Though I've said it before that someone like you shouldn't mingle with people like me–"
Issei was abruptly interrupted when he saw the woman's affectionate eyes and angelic smile as she placed her hands on his cheeks. He watched in silence while she slowly leaned down to his level and then, the sensation of her soft and warm lips met with his forehead. Issei shut his eyes as he mesmerised the warmth that came from her hands and kiss. When she finally pulled away, their eyes were still connected to one another. Then, it was her turn to speak, "And I gave you my answer, While my allegiance is to the Heaven, I am tasked by my Father to look after you. Even if this lasts for an eternity, I will always be by your side."
"And intend to keep my promise too, Gab. I will always put my life on the line to protect you." He swore to her. "And I shall put up mine for yours as well." She added.
{Don't you two dare forget my existence.}
The two of them laughed when they heard dragon's disgruntled voice. "Of course not, Ddraig. There's no way we would forget you. Thank you for sticking with me for so long, partner." The young man chuckled again after he heard the heavenly dragon huffed and said nothing.
As a new chapter of his life has begun, the Devil himself couldn't help but wondered just what kind of bizarre events would be thrown to his path.
