Goblin King No More

Sarah awoke with a start. She had dreamt that she had attended the funeral of Jareth the Goblin King. The dream had seeded so real. She got up from her bed and went to her mirror to call Hoggle.

"Hoggle I need you."

Hoggle showed up in the mirror and asked her, "What do you want Sarah. I am very busy now?"

Sarah then told him about her dream.

"Sarah that was no dream, it actually happened. Jareth is dead."

Sarah stood there in shock. She had trouble believing what she just heard. She did attend the funeral of The Goblin King. Tears ran down her cheeks.

No more Jareth to torment her. He had kept visiting her, and driving her nuts. He kept trying to convince her to return to the Labyrinth as his wife. She had kept telling him no. He did not listen to her.

Sarah asked, "Hoggle what he died from?

"Jareth died from a broken heart. He had finally given up."

Sarah did not like what she had heard. She decided she was not going to contact her friends in the underground anymore, because of what happened.

"Good bye Hoggle."

Sarah walked away from the mirror crying hard. Jareth must have loved her very much to die from a broken heart.

So Sarah continued on with her life until she died. She met him again in the afterlife with a smile, and a hug. They became good friends.
