I know i misbehaved
And you made your mistakes
And we both still got room left to grow
And though love sometimes hurts
I still put you first
And we'll make this thing work
But I think we should take it slow
Maybe we'll live and learn
Maybe we'll crash and burn
Maybe you'll stay, maybe you'll leave,
maybe you'll return
Maybe another fight
Maybe we won't survive
But maybe we'll grow
We never know baby youuuu and I
"Draco, I'm not sure if we should be doing this." Harry says, almost insistently. His partner tightens the grip on his hand as he's pulled towards the lit up venue. Muggles in fancy dresses and suits walk in and out with ease. He could hear the music from all the way outside. "Draco… Draco stop." The blonde reluctantly stops, turning to Harry.
"Why? There should be no problem. Like you said, we could slip in easily." Harry looked at the ground, avoiding those stunning grey eyes. He was regretting bringing up that he'd never been to a wedding. Before he knew it, Draco had found the nearest muggle wedding and off they had gone.
"Draco, I'm not sure if I can do this. I don't even know how to dance. Besides, wouldn't be odd for two unknown guys show up?"He could feel his anxiety getting worse the closer they got. Despite this, the idea of crashing the wedding… It was fun. Harry took advantage of the moment to adjust Draco's tie, which was a lovely shade of blue that complimented his pale complexion. "Let's at least wait for them to cut the cake, alright."
"You never said there'd be cake, Potter." Draco raised an eyebrow, seemingly enticed by the new found information.
Harry smiled and took Draco's hand in his own. "There's always a cake at weddings." He gently kissed Draco's neck.
A goofy grin crossed his face as they walked in the venue, a warm feeling filling his chest as he watched the muggles dance happily along to some song that spit out directions.
"Shall we join them?" Draco inquired, gesturing to the cult-like dancing.
In that moment, Harry had the best idea. "Of course it is! It's a traditional muggle dance! Everyone has to participate." Harry insisted, pulling his boyfriend into the throng of muggles, quickly falling in line with the moves. He watched as Draco struggled to keep up with the well accustomed muggles, almost tripping over his own feet more than a few times.
He turns to Harry nervously. "Are you sure this is a traditional dance? I feel foolish!" He whispers.
"Don't worry, it's almost done." He reassures, and as he says that, the singer signs off and the song ends. The DJ announces it's time for a couple's song and he smirks, turning to Draco.
"Ready Potter?"
"Always."
The song starts with gentle piano music before a smooth male voice sings. Draco guides Harry's hand to his waist and holds the other above their shoulders. They start with a short two step, before Draco whirls Harry into a waltz, somehow managing to keep them on beat.
Draco places a small kiss on Harry's neck, then places his forehead upon his. "This wedding has me thinking… About us."
Harry pulls his head away, as to look at Draco. "Thinking about what?"
"I want you to marry me."
