Say Something

Adi doesn't know how long she was asleep, but she woke when she felt someone's fingers trace up her arm and across her chest. She instinctively jumped up and grabbed the wrist of the person touching her.

"I did not mean to scare you," Ren said as she glared daggers at him.

"If you did not mean to scare me then perhaps you should take that hideous mask off," she sneered in response as she threw his hand away.

"Dinner has been delivered. Come, we will eat," he responded before leaving the room.

"I am not hungry," she yelled after him.

"Eat willingly, or I will force you," he responded sternly.

"You would not dare," she challenged.

"Wouldn't I?" he sneered as he reappeared in the bedroom. She narrowed her eyes at him, and he let out a frustrated sigh before removing his mask. "There. Now will you come out and eat?"

"I will come out, but I will not eat. I want nothing from you but to return home," she said as she swiftly left her spot on the bed and moved past him.

"You need to eat," he said following her. "I won't always be here to keep you safe and I need you at full strength so you can protect yourself."

"Protect myself?" she laughed. "From whom? I am already in your quarters. Who would possibly lack the intelligence to try and touch me when you have laid claim to me?"

"Hux. You saw how he was with you on the flight deck. Do not think for one moment that he will not attempt to touch you," he responded as he wrapped his hand around her wrist and turned her to face him. "You are freezing," he mumbled as his hand met her skin.

"We are in space, traveling at light speed Ren. The clothes you provided are not exactly meant to keep warmth in," she hissed.

"Here," he murmured as he grabbed a nearby blanket and draped it around her shoulders. "I will fix the clothing issue in the morning before I leave."

"Before you leave?" she questioned as she pulled the blanket around her and walked over to the dining table before sitting down.

"Tomorrow, we will reach our destination and I will be off the ship for a little bit," he answered.

"Why are you telling me this? It is not like I can go anywhere. I am your captive here," she said bitterly.

"Adi, you do not have to be," he said as he crossed to her and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Just join us and let me train you."

"You want me to betray everyone I love for my own self-preservation?" she laughed.

"Adi," he warned.

"No! Listen to me and listen to me well Kylo Ren," she sneered. "I will NEVER betray those I love. I would rather die!"

"That can be arranged!" he yelled as he pulled her up to him by her arm.

"Ah, there he is. The infamous and heartless Kylo Ren. I was wondering when I would see him again," she scoffed as she pulled her wrist out of his grip and walked away from him.

"Where are you going?" he bellowed.

"To bed. And if you think we are sharing the same bed, you have another thing coming. I will fight you if you even try," she said sternly from the doorway to the bedroom. She watched as the anger radiated up his back to his shoulders before he turned to look at her.

"Adiara!" he bellowed stalking towards her.

"Do it!" she bellowed back. "Just kill me and get it over with. I will push every button I can until you either murder me or release me."

"Neither will happen!" he yelled in her face as he caught her face roughly in his hands and kissed her. She froze to the spot. She did not kiss him back. She couldn't. Her mind was consumed with Poe and it made her heart physically ache. "You will learn to love me again Adiara Malek."

"Long chance of that," she said in a small whisper and he stiffened.

"Tomorrow when I leave, you will be there when I depart and you will be there when I return," he said sternly. "And we will both be sleeping in my bed. If you think I am not sleeping in my own bed, then you are sorely mistaken, and I will not be letting you sleep anywhere else."

"Is that a command?" she grimaced.

"It is. And do not think I am above using the force on you," he rumbled lowly in her face and she flinched back.

"I did not mean that way Adi," he said swiftly, softening his face slightly. "I would never use the force on anyone in that way. When you come to my bed for that, it will be willingly."

"You say that assuming I will," she whispered.

"Because one day, I know you will," he mumbled before giving her a small kiss. "Now, you need to eat. It has been hours since you last ate."

"I am not hungry," she said, and it was the truth. Their whole conversation had made her stomach queasy.

"I will not tell you again," he said offering his hand and she reluctantly took it as she used her free hand to hold the blanket to her. He walked her to the table and deposited her into the chair she had been sitting in.

They ate in silence, Adi's mind reeling from their argument and her thoughts slowly became consumed by Poe and the betrayal he would undoubtably feel.

"At least attempt to hide you thoughts of him," Kyle sneered from the chair next to her.

"At least attempt to not read my mind every second you are around me Ren," she bit back as she continued to take little bites of her food. At that point she had spent most of the meal just pushing the food around the plate. He let out a sigh in response. "May I please go to bed now?"

"You do not need to ask," he sighed.

"Evidently I do," she snipped before rising from her seat and exiting to the bedroom.

She crossed to the wardrobe and pulled out one of the night gowns that Ren had arranged for her and she cringed. They were similar to the dresses in that they were form fitting, low cut and not her. "Better then nothing I guess," she muttered to herself as she quickly changed into it. Kylo entered the room as she pulled the covers over her in the bed.

"Tomorrow, I will have someone come in to help you dress to see me off," he said as he changed into what he slept in.

"I can dress myself," she muttered.

"I need you dressed as mine, not as a rebel," he snipped.

"That is the problem then isn't it," she said sitting up and glaring at him. "I am a rebel, and I am not yours!"

"We will not have this argument again Adi. Do as I say or else," he said sternly as he climbed into bed next to her.

"Or else what?" she sneered.

"I can easily find out where Dameron is!" he shouted, and her breath caught in her throat.

"No," she exhaled. "I am here. You gave your word!" she shouted as she moved to face him.

"I never gave my word," he sneered.

"You liar!" she shouted as she pushed against him with both hands. "That is the only reason I am here! To keep him safe!" Tears slowly started to run down her face, but she ignored them and glared at the boy in front of her.

"Dameron is your weakness. And. until you rid yourself of that weakness or become mine fully, I will continue to use it against you," he said as he grabbed both her wrists.

"I don't know who you are anymore," she whispered.

"That is not what you said a week ago," he sneered.

"You are a different person then you were a week ago," she responded.

"So are you," he glared.

"You are still angry about me sleeping with Poe," she stated calmly.

"How could you?" he sneered as his grip on her wrists tightened and she flinched.

"You are hurting me," she whimpered.

"Listen to me and Listen to me well. You will do as I say, when I say. Or I will hunt down your beloved Dameron and kill him slowly in front of you, but only after I make him watch as I make you mine. I will let you imagination attempt to figure out what I mean by that statement," he said in a low voice before squeezing her wrists one more time before pushing her away from him, causing her to fall over onto the bottom of the bed.

"You are a monster!" she cried as she looked at him with tears flowing down her face. "Where are you going?" she asked as he threw the comforter off and swiftly got out of the bed.

"Somewhere else," he snapped as he pulled his black sweater back on.

"There you go running again when things get too difficult for you to deal with. What is wrong Ren? Can't handle someone not giving you exactly what you want?" she sneered as she climbed off the bed and crossed the room to him. "You are nothing but a spoiled selfish child who throws a tantrum when they are told they can't have what they want or when someone defies what they have said."

"No, I am leaving before I do something I regret," he yelled back at her.

"You coward!" she yelled pushing him in his chest.

"Adi, stop," he warned as she continued to push him in the chest.

"What are you going to do Ren? You won't hurt me, and you don't know where Poe is. So, what are you going to do?" she asked as she continued to shove him.

"Enough!" He shouted and she flew across the room, slamming into the wall. Her vision blurred around the edges and she struggled to catch her breath. She moved her hands to her throat to try and fight the invisible hand choking her.

"Do not push me Adiara. I do not make empty threats. I can easily make this a prison," he sneered before releasing her. She fell to the floor, hand holding her neck as she struggled to catch her breath.

"Adi," he said in horror as he stepped towards her. She instinctively pushed back away from him.

"Just kill me," she said softly through the tears that had begun to fall again.

"No," he answered before leaving the room and locking the door. Adi pulled her knees to her chest and continued to cry, until to fell asleep on the floor.

Sometime later she startled awake when she felt a hand on her arm.

"Apologies Lady. I was sent to help you get ready," a small woman said softly.

"Just leave me," Adi whispered, and the woman frowned.

"I am sorry dear Lady. I was given orders and I must see them through. I will prepare a bath," the woman said before crossing to the bathroom. "I trust you do not need me to wash you."

"No," Adi responded as the woman reappeared. "What is your name?"

"Leta. Now hurry. You must be ready soon," she answered as she helped Adi off the floor and shoved her into the bathroom.

After a short amount of time, Adi left the bathroom wrapped in a robe, feeling slightly refreshed after bathing.

"Here dear," Leta said motioning to the chair in front of her.

"I am capable of getting myself ready," Adi said sternly as she crossed to the chair.

"I have my orders of how you are to look," Leta shrugged as she started working on Adi's hair.

After what seemed like forever, Adi's hair was in intricate braids with red gems gleaming around her head. Her makeup was a mixture of dark reads and blacks. The dark red lipstick staining her lips was far too dark and the whole look make her skin look even paler than normal. Ren had remained true to his word and had some warmer clothes delivered for her. She dressed in a black, long sleeve gown that had bursts of red crystals through out it. The neckline was high and locked around her neck like a collar, with extra fabric hanging down the back that would trail behind her as she walked, giving the illusion of a cape.

"Is she ready?" Ren's mechanical voice came from the doorway.

"Yes," Leta said with a small nod before moving away from Adi.

"Come," Ren said offering Adi his hand.

"Do I have a say?" she asked taking it with a frown.

"No," he said forcefully before pulling her from the room and out into the hallway. "Hux will be waiting for us at the elevator. I know you cannot stand the sound of my voice, let alone my touch, but you need to place your arm through mine. If Hux detects even an ounce of hesitation or resentment between us, he will not hesitate to try and steel you away." Adi did not respond. She clenched her jaw before lacing her arm with his and placing a neutral expression on her face. "Good girl."

"Ah, Ren and the Rebel," Hux sneered as they reached the elevator.

"Do not test me today Hux," Ren responded coldly. "Adiara is here by request of Supreme Leader Snoke. You would do well to treat her with respect, least you face his wrath and then mine." Hux scoffed as his eyes traveled up and down Adiara and she had to physically fight herself not to shiver.

"I won't be gone long. You will stay in this bay until I return. You will be surrounded by stormtroopers I trust. Do not do anything you will regret later," Ren told her as they left the elevator and crossed to his ship.

"You have me under armed guard. What could I get myself in to?" she sneered as they reached his ship.

"Behave Adi. Try and stay far away from Hux as you can," he said quietly before walking away into his ship.

As soon as Ren's ship left the bay, Hux descended on her like a hawk. She simply glared at him before she walked away and began pacing around the entirety of the bay. She doesn't know how long she had been pacing, but it had easily been hours. Her feet ached in the shoes Ren had chosen for her and she was slightly shivering from the cold of space. When Ren's ship landed in the space, she crossed to it as quickly as she could.

"Finally," she muttered as she reached where Hux stood.

"The Rebel does speak," Hux sneered as he looked down his nose at her.

"The Rebel has a name and can also pack quite a punch. If you value your nose unbroken or your teeth in your mouth, I suggest you keep it shut in my presence," she sneered back at him.

"Why you little," Hux started but was cut off.

"General Hux, I suggest you listen to her request. Remember she is The Supreme Leader's guest," Ren's voice came as he came down the platform. "Please see that the prisoner is moved to a chamber. Do whatever you see fit to get the information we require from him," Ren quietly commanded. "Come Adiara," he said sternly as he grabbed her elbow and pulled her towards the door leading out of the bay.

"Slow down Ren. I can walk myself," she said as she pulled from his grip.

"Let me go," a voice came from behind her and she froze in place.

"No!" she whispered as she spun on her heel and turned towards the voice. As she caught his eyes, her breath went ragged and she moved towards him.

"Adi?" Poe's voice questioned.

"No!" she screamed louder as she ran towards him. "Poe!"

"Adi!" he screamed fighting against the troopers holding his arms.

"You aren't supposed to be here," she cried as she was caught by Hux before reaching him.

"Why are you here? Adi what happened?" he asked as he continued to try and move towards her.

"I am sorry Poe. I am so sorry," she cried as she fought against Hux's grip.

"Get him out of here!" Ren commanded as he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her against his chest.

"Let her go you bastard!" Poe screamed. "She doesn't know anything!"

"Oh, I am aware Dameron," Ren started as he moved one arm from Adi's waist and removed his helmet. "She is not here because she has information." Ren smirked before turning Adi and forcefully kissing her. Adi stilled, not moving a muscle. With Poe so close, it would take nothing for him to lash out and hurt Poe.

"Adi," Poe half choked. That was all it took to snap Adi back and she shoved Ren away with all of her might before slapping Ren across the face and running towards Poe again as she wiped her mouth.

"I love you," she cried as she threw her arms around his neck and sobbed into his shoulder. "You weren't supposed to be here. You were supposed to get back and come find me."

"Adi, what happened?" Poe asked as he locked his feet behind hers to try and prevent someone from pulling her away.

"Enough of this," Ren sneered. "Adiara, come!"

"No!" she cried as a stormtrooper tried to pull her away from Poe. She broke his grip and latched onto Poe, kissing him hard on the lips.

"Enough!" Ren commanded, anger making everyone jump.

"I promise, I will find you and explain everything," she whispered quickly as Ren stomped over to her and pulled her from Poe.

"Adiara," he warned.

"You are a liar Kylo Ren. Clearly your word means nothing. If you want to punish me, then do it. I do not fear you and I will never give you what you want," she sneered up at him.

"Very well," Ren said as he waived his hand, and as the world fell dark around her she could hear Poe screaming her name and fighting against those holding him.
