Plan of action:

So, something that's really been getting to me lately is reviewing my old work, before starting new work. I don't want to begin anything else before making sure I am confident in the old work.

1. Something that I really have been wanting to do is a retcon of Insanity. Not a complete retcon, per se, but reasons:

-I've looked over it and OMG the horrible grammar, wording and technique in some of it was REALLY bothering me. Y'all let me get away with this, lmao? I appreciate y'all! I was so young when I wrote this, and it shows. I feel like as I've gotten older, my personal style has gotten better and more defined, and I want to try again.

-I've also thought of some other scenarios that could have occurred during the time, and I want to add them as chapters

-I've also thought of different ways I'd like things to go down, so some chapters might change altogether. I don't know yet. I need to finish my re-read of it, take my notes, etc.

-I've just been really interested in re-visiting it.

2. I've been thinking of removing Staccato altogether. I don't know right now. For consistency it should stay, but I've been questioning it. If I don't get rid of it, it may undergo a smaller-scale retcon as well.

3. Nocturne will stay as is; at this moment, so will Eternal. I may go back and make some editing fixes, but that'd be about it.

4. Also, because of course what you all want to hear from me:

FINALE update: Okay, I'm going to be real with you guys.

I wasn't going to do it.

*dodges numerous moldy fruits and veggies*

Let me explain! Out of all of the series, Finale was the only one where I didn't really care what Patch was doing, so it never occurred me to think about it from his point of view. To be honest, I never thought I'd get this far in writing the series at all. But! After the consistent questions (and it actually seems like y'all are REALLY interested) I thought more into it. My biggest fear/turn off about writing it now was that it would be half-assed and I wouldn't complete it, so I came to a happy medium for myself right now. When I do decide to write it, it won't be as comprehensive as the other books. Meaning, it would be a lot shorter, but it would be the most important scenes and then maybe some other chapters. If I enjoy it more during, I may change my mind. I don't know. I just want to commit to what I know I will actually accomplish.

Also, it would be after the Insanity retcon. Mainly because I've had those ideas for a while, but I knew y'all needed me to finish Requiem, and because I need time to build ideas for Finale.

Let me know how you all feel (about all of the topics, not just Finale lmao)
