Darkzdragon 'Onyx': I still can't believe I got past you in Sword when I had less time in the game ^^'

DarkFoxKit: It's because I've been rotating my Pokemon team constantly, and grinding each of them up. Since most of these Pokemon are new, I don't know what they'll be until after they evolve.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': That and you have that… kinda strange personal rule of 'don't evolve any Pokemon until level 30'.

DarkFoxKit: That's only for certain Pokemon, I'm not going to make every Pokemon wait until 30 to evolve. Like Caterpie for example, I'm not keeping that thing as a Caterpie for 30 levels.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Then tell me, how many of your Pokemon have you evolved? And how many do you have in your boxes and party?~

DarkFoxKit: For the ones I'm not using, I evolve right away. I only delay evolution for my main team, because I feel it has a better challenge in it to not evolve them so fast that they one-shot every Trainer they come across.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': And how many gyms did it take before you hit the wall?

DarkFoxKit: Zero. I only 'hit the wall' because I was caught off guard by a certain Pokemon and its typing, otherwise I could've easily beaten it.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': I caught a Chewtle right near the starting town. Had you evolved it, you would've found out that Drednaw is a Water/Rock typing, not Water/Dragon. Also, this is a lesson that you shouldn't listen to rumors and hearsay.

DarkFoxKit: Why would I use a Chewtle? I had Sobble. I wasn't going to waste my time on a Pokemon I didn't plan to use. And also, the challenge it gave me was still good, you just one-shotted everything, that made it boring.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': I haven't one shot everything. I've had a pretty good challenge. On gym 4 I lost half my team and nearly lost the whole thing because I Dynamax-ed one Pokemon early.

DarkFoxKit: Heh, I remembered that, you were so ticked off that you nearly set the couch on fire.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': The only reason I beat that gym was because my Cinderace, the final evolution of Scorbunny, had somehow a higher speed than a freaking Dynamax-ed Pokemon.

DarkFoxKit: Is it that weird? Hmm… I'm not sure how stats work on Dynamax-ed Pokemon, just that their moves are ridiculously OP.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': To me it felt like I recreated David and Goliath. Except Cinderace turns rocks into soccer ball sized fireballs instead of shooting rocks out of a slingshot.

Mew: Smile for the camera, you two~ You should probably get to the point why you're here instead of going off on how your playstyles differ.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Looks over at Mew and the camera* O-oh, right! We had an announcement for everyone. I got so sidetracked with our convo ^^'.

DarkFoxKit: That tends to happen a lot with us.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Rolls eyes a little* Hey there everyone, I know we said we'd post when we'd start updating again, but this is an exception to that. We'd like to inform everyone that we've opened up two Discord channels. One is for Child of Mew, the other is more general. We are thinking of making the general one into both Child of Mew and We Are Phantom, but we might just go with separate ones for each. Let us know what you think about those ideas. If you're interested in joining either Discord, PM me and I'll get you the link as best I can, as I've found a way to get around fanfiction's 'no links besides ours' rule~

Keep in mind that we have our own way of doing things, however, so we won't be using ideas that have OP OCs or anything like that. I've tried that once, and it made a mess of my story, yet somehow people still like it. I should count my blessings. Anyways, I think that's everything, is it?
