p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: black; background: white;"Hey, team. I am aware that it's been literal years since I uploaded a chapter. I apologize for abandoning this story and all the others. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: black; background: white;"I didn't intend to let these stories slip through my fingers, but here we are. Life got away from me, and I started writing professionally. I started working on a high fantasy series (Stars and Bones) back in 2017 and ended up signing with a small press in 2018. I've since published six books with them, and we are working to rapid publish the last three books of the Stars and Bones series next year. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: black; background: white;"All that is to say, I've been busy. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: black; background: white;"But that is no excuse for abandoning these stories and all the readers who enjoyed them. It's been a ping on my heart this entire time. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: black; background: white;"I really fell out of love with these stories, and my obsession with the HTTYD franchise dulled. I still love these characters and still have their Pop figures on my shelves, and I don't know if that will ever change. If part, these stories were unfinished because I started writing them without knowing where I was going with them – I didn't have an outline. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: black; background: white;"But I'm still alive, and I wanted to come on here and just let you all know how this story would have ended. Roughly ended, because I never actually wrote it. *awkward face*/span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: black; background: white;"In Underneath, we would've had the thugs slipping into the city preparing for a siege, and we would've have the plot point of Toothless and Hiccup being discovered by Stoick, they would've tried to kill Toothless, the thugs would've attack at that moment, and then we would've at the big, dramatic fight scene were the heroes ride bareback into battle on dragons for the first time, ending on the same note at the first movie. And, of course, Astrid and Hiccup would've ended up together and with their relationship okayed by their parents. span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /span/span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: black; background: white;"So, let this be a lesson in publishing stories with having an outline of where they were going and how they were going to end. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: black; background: white;"Again, I am so so so sorry./span/p
