Hey all! It's been a while since I logged on here but I'm still kicking! Unfortunately my enthusiasm for getting his done hasn't been the best.

First off, I've been doing well physically and have had no pain where my disc was pinching on my nerve for over a whole year and I'm doing my best to make sure that doesn't happen again.

But getting back to the delays, I have actually been trying to finish a chapter I have been working on but I'm only half way through. It's been hard to get some inspiration going to fill up the time between now and the final chapter of Damien's journey. I've said it before, THE ENDING HAS BEEN FINISHED. Just gotta work out what's in between. But things for me career wise and also legally, have been a rather uphill battle and what happened was based on absolute bullshit.

I can't state everything but I was set up as a scapegoat for an incident that was not my fault and despite all the evidence that clearly states otherwise, I was found guilty and forced to take the blame where I got demoted and now I have to restart all I've done for my current rank and position. This is something I'm using every legal resource I have a right to, to fight for what happened to me to be overturned. Naturally I think I know what has been far more important. Making sure my career continues instead of my hobby is a clear choice. My only saving grace is that EVERYONE I work with, including multiple unit commanders, know I was screwed and it wasn't fair.

But onto more positive stuff. I'm still making good progress on keeping the story as relevant as possible and I do have a few ideas for some other stories that won't be as long as this. I do wish I could say that something extraordinary has happened since then but I have the same life as everyone else. Get up, go to work, try not to mess up, pay the bills, relax on the weekends, repeat.

I'll try to be on here more. I don't plan on quitting this.
