"R-Ruby, d-don't weave me here a-alone!" a small child screamed out the door of the orphanage as she was being held back from running to a red-haired girl who was screaming and crying as she was being taken to a long white car.

"Weiss!" the red-haired girl cried as she struggled to break free from her "captors" who were going to take her to a new home. The adult couple looked at the red-haired girl with a sad look as they gently forced their new "daughter" inside their car.

After trying to break free, Weiss had managed to slip away from the people who were holding her back but being a faunus with a long white tail, an orphanage worker had somehow grabbed onto Weiss' tail with a heavy grip which made yelp in pain. Being small, Weiss was able to get her tail free by yanking her own tail free from the adult and brought more pain unto the girl. Now fully free from the grasp of the orphanage workers, Weiss ran as fast as she could towards the car. As she saw Ruby about to get inside of the car by force, Weiss tried to run faster than her own limit of being a small powerless child let alone being an orphan.

Ruby was sat down on a booster seat and the man held Ruby down at her seat to prevent her from escaping as the woman went to the other side of the car and opened the door to buckled the red-haired girl up in her seat and then, the man released the small girl and as he was about to close the car door Ruby screamed, "Weiss, I'll come back for you! Don't leave-" The door was then closed and any contact the two girls would have has now been severed by the couple. Ruby glared at the man angrily for rudely closing the door on her and looked out the window and saw that Weiss was still running as fast as she can towards her.

Weiss pushed herself and ran until she heard the white car's engine start and it immediately drove away and Weiss couldn't do anything. The car was naturally way more faster than Weiss and Weiss, being a smart girl, knew that she couldn't catch up. Giving up, she slowed down to a stop and dropped to her knees scraping her skin and a gash appeared at her knees. As the white car faded into the distance, the white-haired girl, after her parents' death and promising that she would never ever cry at their death bed, started sobbing and eventually crying. The only person that genuinely cared for her and never left her side through everything that she had to go through was now gone from within her reach and Weiss didn't know when the next time she would be seeing her again.
