"What were you reminded of and why would increasing her breast size remind you of it?" Ryu asked with a twinkle of amusement in his eyes.

"I was going to heal everyone, but wanted to wait until I could speak the language and explain before throwing around waves of light so I didn't scare anyone," Xander explained.

"That would have been frightening," Leo agreed.

"And how does that connect to bigger breasts?" Jiraiya asked curiously.

"Because I have two ways of healing and one heals you to where you would be if you had the perfect amount of nutrition and exercise your entire life, which often makes people taller and better built," Xander explained before creating an emerald ring and pouring Green Mana into it. He handed it to Genease. "Your clothes won't grow with you so use it at home. Just put the ring on and think heal. It only works once a day and can make you a bit hormonal depending on how much healing you need."

"I'm… going to take the day off," the fox girl told Samantha.

"It can also work on more than one person if they touch the gem while you do it," Xander added.

The fox girl and a bull boy looked at one another and then casually headed in the gates. If by casual you mean forcing themselves not to run but still walking quite quickly.

"And the other healing method?" Samantha asked.

"I throw a wave of light at a couple dozen people and they heal to the point they are in the best condition they've ever been in, growing back missing limbs and all scars fading away," Xander replied. "It's the best way I know to do mass healing."

"We have a fair number of people who could use some healing," Samantha said quickly.

"Get them in groups and I'll heal them," Xander said. "I fully intend to heal everyone who wants it."

"Give us a bit please," Samantha said, "it'll take time to dismantle the mound of Dust crystals." She gestured to where people were still collecting bundles of crystals and carrying them off. "It's enough Dust to keep us going for over a decade, but getting it like that is still frightening."

"Yeah, I'll have to work on that," Xander admitted. "Maybe a thinner layer over a greater area?"

"That would help," she said with a sigh.

"Are hunters like ninja?" Xander asked.

"You don't know about hunters?" she asked in confusion.

"He just got to this world yesterday," Leo reminded her.

"Oh," she said. "Hunters are those that have awakened their aura and trained to hunt Grimm. Ninja are just fantasy warriors these days, but were probably proto-hunters at one time."

"Awakened their aura?" he asked, thinking of all the Magic the Gathering cards that had Aura in the description.

"Someone with an awakened Aura can awaken it in others," she explained. "Aura increases your strength, speed, and how much damage you can take. It's a manifestation of your soul and with enough practice once you master it, you can discover what your semblance is. Before you ask, a semblance is a power unique to you, a reflection of your soul."

"Do you have any hunters here?" Xander asked.

Samantha shook her head. "The downside of aura is that it attracts Grimm, so small settlements like ours don't often have hunters in residence. It's for that reason that a lot of hunter teams keep on the move in Grimm infested areas, which is all of Menagerie really."

"I'll have to see if I can get a scan of one," Xander said. "I have to say, Aura sounds a lot like chakra in some ways, which the nin use."

"It actually sounds a lot like how the samurai in the Land of Iron use chakra," Ryu offered.

"I don't suppose you can create Lightning Dust?" Samantha asked hopefully.

"I'd need a sample," Xander said.

Samantha pulled out her scroll and sent a text message before putting it away. "I'll have some for you in a minute."

"This world is a strange combination of advanced and primitive," Xander said, "much like the ninja world. You've got them beat on general tech level, much less on medical, and neither of you have made spaceships."

"Dust won't operate outside the atmosphere," Leo offered. "They tried to make ships once and found that out. So far no one has figured out a fuel that works."

"Weird," Xander said with a frown. "So all dust tech is a dead end technology designed to keep you all trapped. Well, it was probably done by your Brother Gods then. Gods can be dicks like that."

"How's that make it a dead end technology?" Leo asked.

"Because it can't get you to the stars," Xander explained. "You guys need to develop a tech tree that lets you leave the planet."

"But all my stuff's here," a nearby cow girl said, making Xander laugh.

"And what's out there?" Leo asked.

"No idea," Xander replied, "it could be a bunch of worlds like this one but with no Grimm or it could be just a bunch of floating rocks like the moon that you'll have to terraform to make it like here. Or maybe you'll just make massive ships and live in them. Really it's all up to you, but first you have to get out there."

"That building you had us all stay in last night was a spaceship, wasn't it?" Leo asked.

"It was," Xander agreed. "It's only good for in-system travel, but it's pretty good at that."

"Here," the cow girl said, handing Samantha a small tube filled with yellow powder.

"Are there worlds without Grimm?" a young cat boy asked.

"Tons," Xander told him. "This is the first world I've found with Grimm."

"Here," Samantha said, handing Xander the vial, "this is what we use for power. A pinch of ground up Lighting dust fuels most electronics. Please don't make a huge pile of it, ground up dust is incredibly volatile."

Xander scanned the vial and created a table before filling it with vials of dust. "They're safe like that, right?"

"Yes, they're pretty safe that way," Samantha agreed, relieved.

Xander nodded and made a second table, filling it with vials of Lightning dust as well. "There you go."

"Thank you, this will really help out," Samantha said, accepting the vial Xander handed to her.

"Can you make it so I can fly?" the fox boy asked Xander.

"Sure," Xander said, licking his thumb and wiping it across the boy's head while tapping a Blue Mana.

The little boy shot up into the air with a squeal.

"Billy! You get down here right now!' the voice of an angry mother called out.

Xander froze. "Um… Nobody tell her I did that!"

Leo burst out laughing once more. "You're killing me!"

An angry fox woman marched up. "Does anyone know why my hyperactive kit is in the air? And more importantly does anyone have an idea on how I'm going to get him down without using a net?"

Xander sighed and licked his thumb and wiped it across her forehead, giving her flight. "You can fly now," he told her.

"This has been the strangest day," she said as she slowly floated off the ground before shooting after her son.

"Benevolent but not wise," Samantha said as Leo wiped tears of laughter from his eyes and caught his breath.

"Also honest," Xander offered with a shrug. He went back to reading his scroll and seeing what the news said.

It took nearly half an hour before the Fire Dust had been safely carried off and in that time he'd refilled the tables of ground up Lightning Dust and given six more children flight… and their parents.

"Okay, let's group people and heal them now, since we are no longer in danger of exploding," he said.

The first few groups of people that volunteered were the former miners, who trusted him because he'd rescued them from the hell of the mines.

"Moon Healing Escalation!" Xander called out as he twisted and spun, unleashing a wave of white energy on the last of the locals.

"That still looks strange, but it's very effective," Leo said with a smile, his frame filled out with enough muscles for a professional wrestler.

"I know," Xander said, "all the powers I picked up from Tokyo are like that."

"What are the others?" he asked curiously.

"Fire arrow, lightning bolt, some kind of laser, and a battle shroud that creates a fog everyone on my side can see through but the enemy can't," Xander listed off. "Okay, I'm about tapped out of all major miracles for the day, so everyone try and not get injured please."

"The battle shroud sounds like it could turn the tide of a battle on its own," Leo said. There was a rip as the seams on his shirt gave up.

"Okay, a mass of larger clothes and then I'm done for the day," Xander said. He gestured and the empty tables filled with masses of nin outfits.

"And here I thought your powers were limitless," Leo said with a grin while picking out a uniform that would fit his filled out frame.

"No, I have a lot of Mana, but it's not limitless," Xander said.

"Would you like to stay for the night?" Samantha offered.

"That's probably a good idea," Xander said.

"I have room for you in my home, though considering how you expanded everything, we probably have room for hundreds more than are already here. It may take a bit to find my home."

"Let me do something real quick and I'll help," Xander said. He waved the Terminators over.

"Those guys are really quiet," Leo noted.

"They are T-800s," Xander said as he created a handle of sapphire rings and poured Mana into them. "It'll take a while before they grow enough to be considered people and even then they aren't likely to be chatterboxes."

He passed out the rings to the Terminators who dutifully put them on. "Activate the rings," Xander ordered. "You can use them once each day to enhance your mental capacity and speed up your development."

For once the T-800's didn't act as one, each taking a few moments to figure out how to activate their rings before blinking and looking around with new eyes.

"Okay, I'm done," Xander said, "let's find your home and see how much room you have."

"I only have one bed, so we'll have to share," Samantha told him.

"It could be expanded," another woman noted. "My house now has three bedrooms and a den."

"Only one bed," Samantha repeated firmly.

Xander grinned. "I guess we'll just have to share then," he said, catching her hand with his own.

"Oh," the woman said before eyeing Leo. "You know it'd be very rude if I didn't offer to share my one bed with you."

"I believe I'll take you up on that offer," Leo said with a wide smile.

"So much magic," Ozpin said, the Headmaster of Beacon turning to stare towards Menagerie, however since he was in his office he appeared to just be facing his bookshelf.

"Pardon?" Glynda asked as the blonde teacher had been giving her report on the latest applicants and the two who had faked transcripts.

"Last night I was awoken by a pulse of magic coming from Menagerie," he replied. "I'd thought I'd dreamt it, but I'm awake and there's no mistaking it now."

"A relic?" she asked.

"It feels like Creation… No, the staff is still in Atlas," he said, stroking his chin. "It's like someone is using multiple relics."

"Check the news?" Glynda suggested.

Ozpin pulled out his scroll and opened it, checking for anything that had been reported lately. "Nothing, nothing, one of the Schnee mines has reported all their workers have vanished. If there's been another accident that they're covering up, there will be hell to pay."

"The way they treat Faunus should not be allowed," Glynda said firmly, taking out her own scroll to read about the event.

"Sadly people must make their own choices and they do not always choose well," he said with a frown. "Who could be using that much magic? Salem may have that level of power, but she would hardly throw it around like that."

Glynda's right eyebrow went up.

"Nature," Ozpin said. "Not Salem, she was never that adept with nature magic."

"Should we send someone to investigate?"

"The pulses of magic or the mine?" he asked.

Glynda considered that for a moment. "Both," she replied.

Ozpin nodded. "You're right. I'll contact General Ironwood to stir up trouble in the mines and contact Ghira to see if he knows anything."

"Good," Glynda said, satisfied that he was acting and not just waiting for disaster to strike.

"Two quick messages and then some cocoa," he said absently as he typed away.

"Two quick messages, some paperwork, and then some cocoa," she said dryly.

"Oh yes, forgot about that," he said.

She sighed heavily. "We need to finish the paperwork before we launch the students into the forest."

"Oh yes," he said with more energy, "we can't forget that!"

Once the messages had been sent off and they'd dealt with the mountain of paperwork required for Beacon's incoming class, he smiled and sipped his cocoa before staring at the bookcase. His stare quickly went from surprised to shock to sheer disbelief.

"What?" Glynda asked, concerned.

"I think the gods are walking among us once more," he said.

"Are you sure?" she asked, wide eyed.

Ozpin slowly nodded. "The sheer amount and variety of magic being thrown about… No one but a god could be responsible."

Salem turned to stare, reaching out mentally to find any Grimm near the source of the disturbance but they all died too quickly, never even seeing what had killed them.

"A god walks the land," she said slowly, a smile growing on her face.

"Anything else?" Lionheart asked nervously through the mirror she was contacting him with.

"Something's come up," she said, trying not to hope but feeling embers of it flare up in her heart, "continue as ordered until I personally contact you." She gestured and the mirror just showed her reflection once more, a young woman with hair as black as night and skin as white as snow.

Outside her castle a Nevermore squawked, the giant raven Grimm announcing its arrival as she realized she had called it.

"Of course I called it, I have a trip to make," she said, before flying from the room.
